  1. You don't get it, but that's okay. Let me put it another way... It doesn't matter how engrossed you get into the movie, you're always and perpetually in the seat. When the movie images move you don't move from it at all. You don't "go to" the seat when the movie ends. You're there throughout. You aren't going to "go" anywhere. The movie ends but the movie is fiction. We are already in Nirvana. All of this is a movie, we aren't real and we aren't actually in this. Srs. No BS.
  2. "knowledge" is knowing it. "Knowledge" is being it.
  3. I got that one time and that is why I'm here. I don't recall very clearly but it wasn't that I was imagining someone and someone else was imagining me... But instead like... Uh see a wavey ocean yeah? All the peaks of the waves. Well they're all sentient beings, yeah? And then the sea becomes 100% calm and the water becomes still like a pond. When the waveness is removed from a wave, there's only water. So it was like if the person-ness of everyone ceased, there'd just be "me", the ocean me NOT the wave me. Doesn't matter how good or evil you were in life, because that is all vanquished necessarily to get there.
  4. Have you ever wondered why we're here? What's it all about you've no idea, 'Cause everywhere you look, all you see is hatred, And darkness death and fear... ... I believe people mean acceptance when they use the word love. The opposite of resistance. I think that's all they mean.
  5. When we are "enlightened" we realize there's nobody to share the news with. No buddy to say to, "woah man, can you believe this was the answer all along?" Imagine realizing the grandest most insane thing possible, and you can't even tell anyone else about it. Frustrating. Then we come back to being normal and don't have a grasp on it anymore.
  6. No I mean... Uhm... Example: Everyone is dead and the universe has ended. None of us are separate anymore, it's all back to just a total singularity of pure being. Imagine we can still think, and there's some knowing of this. And it'd be like "holy fuck this is insane, can't wait to tell Chris-.... oh... right......." you couldn't actually reach the people who were once separate from you to share with them the crazy news. They're just not there anymore, they never existed, and neither did your human self either... Nobody to share it with... You see? Like that...
  7. Do you know that word association thing, where you say a word and then just spit out what comes to your mind next. Like Tree... Park... Dog... Leash... Frisbee... Sports... Beach... Sea... I wonder if it's a bit like that. I'm guessing, btw. Educated guess. But it literally is just a waterfall of random imagination with that word association thing.
  8. Isn't the point of Zen to empty yourself of all desires, including the ones you mentioned. That's like, the Zen method of ending suffering. You probably don't need either
  9. Smoking Salvia causes perhaps the strangest sensation ever. It feels like impacting cement with such force that you should absolutely be dead... But it just keeps going... A neverending impact that it feels you are going more and more into. And your mind can't understand how your body isn't dead from being splatted against whatever surface, or being grinded through whatever machinery.
  10. This is absolutely and certainly the case. There's no such thing as substance. Like the Bible's God figure, substance is another infinite regress that could never end in nothing. But nothing "IS", LITERALLY it "IS". Nothing can get behind or before nothing. Not God, not anything. I think that's why Neo-Advaita people parrot that "nothing is happening"... Which I had a really deep insight on yesterday but I no longer remember it, which is frustrating... Maybe it was to do with the fact that all these appearances surround me yet "behind the curtain" if you could peel them back to see the truth behind the illusion, there'd be literally nothing there. Nothingness is very alluring and intoxicating, as becoming it is undeniably true. But perhaps nothing and something, consciousness, formlessness and form, distract from the underlying fact that there is just reality itself alone and all encompassing.
  11. It's blatantly wrong. People are just afraid to acknowledge that their entire lives have played out solely within their own mind. It is logically true under any paradigm. But it frightens people. Once you see it, you can't unsee it. Srs... People prefer to hold onto the idea that they're interacting with a world outside of that even when it is logically impossible.
  12. Will vs FREE will. I think that's what it comes down to. The entire misery, hatred of torture, and all that, is one of the many things which appear. Unfortunately (and my feeling that it is unfortunate).
  13. Don't have to even ponder or meditate, it's immediately understandable to everyone: 1. Your entire life from birth to now has played out in your own mind. You have never known anything outside of this. 2. Reality "is"... Things do not come packaged with their own little slice of existence. Existence itself is the common factor between your consciousness and a boulder. They both "are". That "is"ness is what you actually are. We are existence itself which is all there is. Or you can think of the Big Bang and that's useful. We are not separate entities who come INTO the universe. As you know, we arise out of it. And if you imagine the entire fabric of the universe, with little people shapes it contorts into (which is literally how the material world works), the shapes never cease to be the universe before or after they form and evaporate. There never is anything other than the universe. These characters we are, are small expressions within ourselves... We are the universe itself. Literally. We are the universe completely alone as it stands. That should hopefully trigger bizarre Solipsist feelings, if you can get behind your character and see the singular universe which forms us all. And you should understand, WE are indestructible and unstoppable because WE are just existence itself. Alone.
  14. Seems as though it conforms to patterns. Patterns and symmetry are everywhere. Maybe it's like the word association game. The thoughts are related somehow but not under your control.
  15. Even non smokers hallucinate cigarettes, btw.
  16. They alter your perception to an astronomical degree. The bizarre visuals and such are a sideshow, and on very intense trips I can't explain that element anyway except by sort of word association... Like uh... Glue. Plasticine fingers. Army soldier figurine fingers. POP. Traffic lights....... Etc etc. The shift in perspective that can happen I also don't think is describable. You can describe ego death though. And also the cessation of seeing segments but the whole. So the objects surrounding you, instead of "chair, jacket, fan" etc becomes "reality, reality, reality"... But as said the psychotic type stuff, I don't think you can really capture that. I think that's all the drugs do in terms of what you're discussing.
  17. Nobody's allowed to say certain things else people would just start leaping to their deaths. And the unwillingness to express that obvious thing means I'm also existing with some idea of other people, otherwise I wouldn't care if 1000s of people leapt to their deaths... During very bad severe trips with a certain theme, I did not care about consequences of other people calling the cops or ambulances. Because the "realization" made it such that it does not matter if everyone is disgusted by me, or if I end up in prison or something. At that point it does not matter whatsoever. At that point is a confrontation with something far bigger than anything, nothing matters anymore, it's sort of like a gigantic really angry parent dragging you away from your playthings which is your entire life. And you have never met it before so it is terrifying, you shriek, and wail. I really don't understand how people are confronted with that and don't flip their top. It's so jarring and frightening.
  18. Nondual terminology is trash. There's something common to both forms and the formlessness. They exist. You are, literally, existence itself. And inanimate objects are, literally, existence itself... Which is of course the underbelly to any sort of relativity you or others discuss, that existence IS, and everything that IS, is necessarily existence itself and nothing else. I don't understand why it is phrased in all sorts of bizarre ways, when right there is an obvious fact that everyone knows.
  19. It's kind of frightening, really. The will without the free part. It's just creepy that things happen without anyone/anything deciding it. It's so alien to how humans see the world. It's honestly weirder than all the "Big Bang" stuff.
  20. Literally anything and everything you do or don't do is achieving what you're talking about. You don't even need to concern yourself with this question.
