  1. Well this is all stuff Leo often talks about. That's why you are "nothing". You're just whatever your experience is. Was there any euphoria or altered state of consciousness? (omg what is wrong with this forum.. says I have to wait 77 seconds before I can post, and just posts like 5 times.)
  2. You're saying.. "Socionics says x, therefore x must be true". You're sourcing Socionics.. in your argument for Socionics? I mean, I know you're a Te user.. but that's just pointless circular reasoning. It's like me saying "@thisintegrated said you're wrong, so you must be wrong". By ignoring this, I'm guessing it's your first time hearing about it?
  3. Projection. If Carl said this I could entertain the idea, but I've never even talked to you before yet you're 100% convinced you have a deep understanding of who I am. If I had to guess, I'd say you want your ideas about me to be true. You must have never really studied MBTI. To get a feel for every type and all their differences takes years of typing/analyzing people at every single opportunity you get. To master the model you'd have to talk/think about it every day for a decade at least. That's how you get good at it. You see me talking about MBTI and assume I'm using it as some way to empower my ego. In MBTI, all personalities are equal, so if that was my intention I wouldn't be talking about MBTI. What makes you say he's Turquoise? All I see is Green mysticism/wokeness/spirituality, and a desire to be heard, seen, acknowledged. Turquoise isn't "Green, but better". Turquoise is like Leo's most advanced videos. How often does Leo talk about spirit, Taoism, spirituality, or say to people "you are beautiful". This is all 100% Green. Green trying to appeal to Green. Greens struggle with image, community, and spirituality, and that's exactly what your friend is demonstrating. Most likely what happened was.. your friend was Orange, discovered spirituality, and discovered that he was previously judging people with MBTI. So he's now rejecting MBTI as it reminds him of how Orange he was and how he used it as a tool for judging. But that was his own fault for misusing MBTI. You're not supposed to judge people with MBTI. If he was ever at Yellow, he would understand the value in multiple perspectives and see the truths in all of them.
  4. Dayum, that's quite a bit of projecting. Tools are tools. They aren't whatever emotionally-charged ideas you have of them. You seem to view this as progress, as an enlightened transcendence of MBTI. But it's more like how Orange "transcends" all ideas of spirituality. It is, indeed, progress from Blue ideas of spirituality. However, after a while, spirituality is rediscovered in a whole new light. This isn't a concept/pattern specific to SD. It applies to your friend's experience with MBTI. He will likely one day rediscover MBTI and see it in a whole new way.
  5. No, I'm mostly anti-CS. I mean.. he's a crazy Christian creationist.. But he does know what he's talking about, generally, when it comes to MBTI. He's still one of the best sources of information on this specific model, imo. He's just got a few definitions mixed up (e.g. Ni/Ne). I'm not deciding anyone's attractiveness based on MBTI. I'm deciding the baseline level of attraction for their type in relation to mine, which is very different. Yep. ?? wtf.. someone on this forum actually understands MBTI?!?? It's like you've been reading all my my posts. Did he happen to be going through some stage transition at the time? E.g. Orange to Green? Blue or Orange? You can take MBTI as far as you want. It doesn't stop being relevant at Turquoise, or at any point. One of the rare occasions you'll see my Ni? Ne = getting the idea to share a video. Ni = deciding what's the best possible title. Fe = linking with the exact timestamp for everyone's convenience. (..in case anyone still had doubts MBTI works) Well.. MBTI is a model of the ego. What do you expect?
  6. Well that's just Socionics. And what do you mean by INTP? INTp? INTj? Are you even aware that INTP is INTj? NTPs are sapiosexuals, and would not be interested in ESFJs. An NTP would find it difficult to even respect an ESFJ. Pretty accurate tbh.
  7. Pretty sure INTJs hate ISFPs with a passion.
  8. She'd probably ask me about work and actually have something to contribute. Must be careful not to fall for a red INTJ
  9. My hypothetical perfect ISFJ wife: "omg! @thisintegrated !! Look at the mess you made! I'll have to vacuum your office right now!" Me: "shut up, shut up, SHUT UP!!!!!!!!"
  10. This is a common argument I hear. "impractical people need a practical partner to take care of the boring stuff". But making food, cleaning, etc. all takes less than an hour a day. It's really not even a problem for someone who hates chores.
  11. ~50% of relationships end in divorce. Marriage doesn't mean much.
  12. You can make any kind of relationship work with a bit of effort.
  13. You know how rare INTJ women are? I've talked to dozens of them. I have some experience with most types. My experience confirms MBTI and SD theory. Can't imagine how ISFJ (dual) is in any way compatible with ENTPs. Most boring, most traditional people who don't value anything an ENTP cares about or offers.
  14. That's true, but it's more useful to be able to conclude "she was a sensor, so of course it didn't work" than "I guess relationships just aren't for me!" or "everyone's stupid". If you can never get along with sensors, then you know that humanity's not the problem, just sensors??
  15. Maybe you're right. But I know INTJs really care about loyalty, and they're so scared of being betrayed that they're very likely to betray first just so they don't get betrayed themselves. And I think Ni and Fi, in general, are likely to ghost when it's determined there's no more value to a connection. LOL No.. MBTI states that N types are only compatible with N types. CS Joseph's a bit of an idiot imo (doesn't even accept the theory of evolution), but still many of his ideas are right. Naaaaah. I've even made my own versions of this chart in the past. What's your point here? In MBTI INTJ + ENTP is called the "golden pair". Here it's not even given a name and referred to as the "shadow function relationship" which doesn't say anything. Also how is ENTP a Guardian type? ENTPs are "intellectuals".
  16. How do you manage to both overthink and underthink something at the same time? How you get the girl doesn't even matter. You can make anything work.
  17. My relationships with all "smart" types have always been good. INTJs may have poor social skills, but I still like them. INTPs may be too cerebral, but they're still fun. ISTJs might be boring, but.. *ahem* anyway.. every type has some weakness, but that's never a problem to me. I can talk to INTJs all day every day, but they just can't keep up with ENTP energy levels. I very rarely conclude someone's not worth my time and ghost them, though I imagine this is something a NiFi like yourself does with some regularity. ?? From what I've seen of Carl, this does make sense. Exactly!
  18. No they aren't. No common interests + no romantic interest = no relationship of any kind. I'm not friends with any ENTPs. All my friends are friends because of common interests. That's how it is for 100% of people.
  19. Where's @Leo Gura when you need him to lock a thread
  20. So in other words.. highly compatible in terms of friendship? You're just agreeing with me here. Friends are people who "can bond over shared interests". What else do friends do? INTJ + INTP are about as compatible as it gets for friendships.
  21. Romantically it's a disaster, yes. But in terms of comradery, similarities are a positive. INTJ + INTP should be very good friends, and decent business partners. The problem with Socionics is it doesn't distinguish between different types of compatibility.
  22. You're sure you're not mistyped? INTJs love and admire INTPs. They're everything the INTJ wants to be. Smart, talented, competent, logical. They also secretly admire/envy ENTPs for being just as smart while still having people skills and emotional awareness.
  23. repeatedly seeing the same ideas on the internet, and CS Joseph, among other youtubers.
  24. Essentially, yes. In one way or another. Fi generates feeling. Fe seeks out the feelings of others. Ti generates logic. Te seeks out the logic of others. Even if an Fi was in a happy relationship with another Fi, the Fi would still need an Fe in their life. Functions need their other halves. People need their other halves. And if a person with the same functions isn't enough, which they never are, then that's an issue of compatibility! Perfect compatibility = not needing anyone else.
  25. Some functions generate information, while others make use of it. It's one of the fundamental ideas of MBTI.
