  1. Whenever I’m alone I have frequent thoughts such as: “I am so much smarter than everyone else” “I am so sexy and so intelligent there’s nobody like me” “I am not interested in politics because most humans are like ants to me so I don’t care about them” Wtf is going on with me that makes my mind think that these thoughts are useful everyday for hours?
  2. @StarStruck Ok if u want to be short with me I will try framing it in a different way for you: Kanye has had a large influence on popular culture, through music, fashion, mindset and more. I think this means that he has done what he intended to do. Of course popularity does not equal greatness but if bragging about being great at something makes it so that you can’t do it, then why is he able to have such massive influence while bragging about having such massive influence?
  3. I think comedy is the highest art form and the way in which a comedian tells a joke is probably the greatest metaphor for existence itself so how do I tell jokes and be funny in general? Because I wanna be a metaphor for existence. what makes something funny?
  4. @StarStruck can you explain why you think that? I don’t see why that’s always true. For example Kanye west, who is one of the greatest artists of this generation, constantly talks about it.
  5. Stage yellow in spiral dynamics is a huge turning point, going from tier 1 to tier 2. How do you think humanity will act during our stage of development where we are primarily stage yellow? FOR EXAMPLE: What will the primary elements of our collective shadow be? What will the internet be like? How will the education system change? What will be the role of psychedelics? Will the ways in which we approach sex be different? How will our diets change? how will the ways in which we exercise change? How will science be done differently? What will mainstream entertainment be like? (We all already know the basics of spiral dynamics, so please try to bring up points which are more original, thanks)
  6. Thought about how I felt weightless and ethereal and like I was being pulled upwards while doing it
  7. I’m considering going to college for psychology. But I’m not sure if it would be useful for understanding the mind. Because they probably won’t incorporate the transcendental and mystical aspects of the psyche. Do you think that a degree is psychology is useful for understanding the mind?
  8. Lately I’ve been meditating a lot and so my mind has been in a more meditative state while falling asleep. I find that I need to watch some mindless Social media crap in order to exit the meditative state so I can let go enough to fall asleep. How do I fall asleep without exiting the meditative state?
  9. @DreamScape so then how would u properly study psychology?
  10. @Carl-Richard But why not just study them online? The works of these great psychologists are not the same as the text books in college, they were ahead of their time by far and the mainstream is still catching up.
  11. Lately I have been feeling like what I truly want is a lot of worldly success. I want what Elon musk has, but without doing the work. I feel like heaven would be living as a rich, physically attractive, highly intelligent person who uses the world as their personal playground. A person who is a member of the most exclusive clubs, and has the most cool friends. Meanwhile I know intellectually that these desires are in large part motivated by a lack of understanding of myself. How do I explain to my heart that it does not need these things to be happy? And what else do you think I might be missing? Thank You
  12. Drop any good movies you’ve seen which are about spirituality. They don’t really have to be ABOUT spirituality, just spirituality significant in some way. Here’s some I like:
  13. List any commonly made assumptions you can think of which I haven’t already listed. In order to see what people don’t want to question. ASSUMPTIONS: other people have consciousness the world exists when I am not perceiving it I’m smarter than most people I will die I am a human I’m not dreaming What scientists say is provable If I don’t eat food I will die my parents are my parents I was born my memories of past events are accurate everything is made of atoms I am more virtuous than most people Tomorrow will happen I’d be happy if I had what I think I want
  14. What is asking why? What are u really asking? When you ask “how?” you can get an answer to how it happened by understanding it’s construction But “why?” doesn’t make any sense because things just are, there doesn’t seem to be any “why” to it, no reason to it really.
  15. I want to understand everything. What I’m wondering is if the desire to understand is ultimately the desire to control your surroundings? Because to understand is to see how something works, and once u see how something works then you can control it.
  16. The Christian bible confuses me. It seems to have a lot of wisdom and also a lot of stupidity. What do you think it is about and why? What is it made for? Im also curious about the tree of knowledge and the burning bush as a metaphor for psychedelics.
  17. How much do you think sadhguru knows and what are the limits of his sight? He seems to know a lot but sometimes panders to people who want a more basic view of things, so I’m not sure tbh. He also claims to have a bunch of powers that I have absolutely no idea how to obtain. Is this just because yoga is way more powerful than I thought it was or what?
  18. God feels bad sometimes
  19. @Leo Gura Because I’m hungry, I guess. and so I won’t die.
  20. Yeah well…. now I’m creeped out and also unsurprised, because yeah that makes sense.
  21. If ur put in solitary confinement u have all the time in the world to do nothing, and ur almost always alone. They must live in their imaginations. Wouldn't this make them much more self-aware? So why aren't they always having awakenings?
