I just want to feel powerful over anything that's not me. I want to be able to force everyones body into whatever shape I want it to be in at whim. I want them to serve me and bring me grapes and suck me dick. I want to stop wanting this I'm tired of it but at the same time I can see that this desire is trying to imitate my desire for true power which is love. so its kinda pointing me in the right direction. Im just not sure how to go about using this forceful desire for manipulative power to embody true love/power

I met this beautiful fragile girl who is like a deer in the way that I must inch slowly towards her making sure not to scare her off. We’ve been texting none stop for a few days but I’ve only met her twice in person and yesterday I asked her too many personal questions and she had to go home and cry because she hates herself and doesn’t really like talking about her mind that much. She’s used to living in a world of uplifting distractions. She told me later that the way I was psychoanalyzing her made her feel claustrophobic. I find it difficult to empathize with mentally fragile people since 99% of the time I’m fine with talking about 99% of things. How do I help her to feel comfortable enough around me to be ok with me asking the personal questions I want to ask?

More men at the top of dominance hierarchies More men at the bottom of dominance hierarchies. More women in the middle area. Why? And how could this relate to masculinity vs femininity? Does masculinity play games by putting itself in situations which have a more dangerous risk vs reward ratio? Does femininity play things safe more? Then I created another profile as a man, but this time I asked to see other men instead of just women and I got over 100 likes in a few hours. it seems that not only are there more men than women on tinder, but there are even more gay men on tinder than there are women. Also on Omegle (the most popular online random video chat) almost everyone using it is a man. I have heard that male suicide is much higher than female suicide, and that men are less socially intelligent than women. Also I have seen multiple studies indicating that overall life satisfaction is mainly increased by meaningful relationships. Why do men seem to be more lonely than women? why do they watch more porn and use dating sites and online video chats more?

Where would the christ of today be found? He would be found on the cross. He would be found there because he would put himself on the line for love. He would not worry about being banned off of social media platforms, he would not sit behind a computer and over complicate and over intellectualize love. He would not make his bold decisions on psychedelics but rather in the moments of true relevance to him in his everyday life when he is most scared of upsetting the flow of events leading to his comfort and success. Leo is a coward and so are you and so am I. Admit it, stop trying to sound smart, ur only here because ur a coward through and through.

@Thought Art It relates to love because I can see that this desire to control my environment is an imitation of the pull of the truth trying to get me to accept that I am everything already and love is everything. And once u become everything then control is just what u r, there isn't anything u don't control. Really every desire is just an imitation of the desire to be love in that way.

@Yarco I think that If Eckhart tolle was better at what he does and had more of an impact on politics and our culture then he’d be crucified in some way. Because it would be too much for us to handle and we’d strike back at him. I think the reason that current spiritual teachers aren’t crucified is because they aren’t very good at what they’re doing. If ur revolution goes well, you should die.

Passion feels like it’s the only thing that drives me. It also feels like the biggest idiot in the world, never doing what makes sense, but rather chasing what is beautiful. Then over time I come to see that what I had previously seen as only beauty was actually what made the most sense. But at the time I could not see why. What is passion?

I decided that I wanted to buy a tent a few months ago, but I bought the cheapest tent I could find instead of the best one. I ended up leaving it in the woods for months and I almost never used it. Now I have decided to save money and buy the best tent I could find even though it is expensive. Why was I being so cheap, instead of realizing that buying a better tent made more sense in the long run?

How could we expand spiral dynamics to make both lower and higher stages? Lower stages could include behaviors of various animals, such as monkeys. Higher stages could include the greatest sages and mystics. Not Alan watts, Eckhart Tolle or Mooji. But rather what we may imagine Christ or Buddha were like. (Of course that would be difficult) I think one of the main things limiting spiral dynamics is that it’s only a map of human development. How about we include lower purely survival based stages? Very animalistic stages with no higher functions whatsoever. If anyone knows about animal psychology, you could give your ideas on this. Also we could add alien intelligence and love at the higher end of the spiral if @Leo Gura ever goes into more depth about what he means by that. If anyone has any idea what Leo means by alien love and how we could fit it into spiral dynamics, then share that.

Most humans seem to think that humans are the most advanced beings known to humans. But are we? Trees grow straight upwards and humans grow all over the place. And Fungi has such large interconnected networks of communication which seem to be more advanced than any human communication system in certain ways. So what is the most advanced kind of being known to us? Because I want to learn how to be more like it.
