  1. I was watching part 2 of "Holism & Holistic Thinking" and that first analogy Leo had about Holism and Holistic thinking with the theoretical physicist and nutrition really galvanized me to post my experience here (even though I had been watching actualized.org videos since 2019, and discovered the channel in 2015 but never cared to post here). This analogy hit home and before Leo even mentioned the link between nutrition and theoretical physics, I had gotten it since it is so relevant to my life. I actually have a bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Science and am currently awaiting my acceptance to pharmacy school as a "post-grad" type of thing since that is how it works here in Canada. As such, I intimately know those "rationalist-materialist" types that Leo so often speaks of since they are my professors, classmates, lab partners, etc. I was really one of them until 2015 when everything began to crumble. I am 25, turning 26 soon, and this whole "the truth is out there" and "I have nothing to do with the Truth and must search for it" was deeply ingrained in me. I will explain how interconnectedness became palpable in my whole life in 2015-2019 (which made me come back to Actualized.org after willfully avoiding it from fear of it in 2015), but I'll only do that if Leo sees this and replies lol. For now, I will explain this stuff within this analogy in my current job. As I await the pharmacy school admission offer, I am working from home as an online Organic Chemistry and Neuroscience and Biology tutor (I usually tutor undergrads but I do take high school kids too). I had my first glimpse of the power of nutrition in 2018. Then in 2019, I began to look into it more and by 2020, I had become a nootropic junkie. I have so many of them and they CHANGED MY LIFE IN INCREDIBLE WAYS. As I tutor these science kids, I can see the indoctrination with the "truth is out there" and I can see how no one tells them, as they never told me, that nutrition and nootropics or nootropic-like foods are key for making connections and being holistic and successful in understanding reality. To link nutrition: I take nootropics like Alpha-GPC to maximize choline to build acetylcholine for improved memory and learning (choline is found in egg yolks, but we never eat enough so we must supplement in form of Alpha-GPC or Citicoline or Choline Bitartrate or whatever). I take phosphatidylserine (found in animal organs), omega 3 (found in fish and algae and seafood), Bacopa monnieri, Lion's mane, and many racetams to optimize cognition. In addition, I take essential vitamins, minerals, and things that one should have in the diet but we don't eat them. Lastly, I take Chaga and Reishi and Turkey Tail mushrooms. The Reishi along with Rhodiola Rosea & Rhodiola Crenulata and Ashwagandha all work to make me holistic and think so clearly. Anyways, I take many other nootropics but you get the point. Back to the kids now: As I tutor them, I would explain a concept in organic chemistry, they simply can't make a connection between the concept and their lives. Sometimes, they see things, but due to lack of choline in their diet, I can tell how foggy their brain feels as I learn their content while tutoring them and remember their work better than they do when they come back for a tutoring session. They learn all of these techniques for visualizing shapes of molecules and how to extract compounds, but you can tell that they can't link it to their life or care about it (even tho tons of products they use for skincare and food and medications and plastic and whatnot, they all use those techniques in the industry). They can't solve things. They are constantly stressed and miserable and the stress and misery lock them in a selfish, unholisitc perspective. However, when I suggest nootropics to some of them, they say "ahh okay, I'll think about it." They then never take them or consider them. They come back for other sessions miserable, confused, and hating science and life as a whole. Their misery in science during school connects to how they treat their boyfriends/girlfriends and how they speak to their families. This also connects to how much they work to earn money. This connects to how little they understand their own life and their own suffering. This connects to their selfish outlook and pain. They thus create their own hell. And why do they not try nootropics or simply consider how the nootropics are supplementing what they lack in diet? Also, why does it not cross their mind that diet might be the reason behind their suffering? Since their culture and university never mentions this, they think Nootropics are a silly scam or a false promise or "dangerous" while they are confirmed by research using their own scientific paradigm... They believe it is a scary risk because they don't have RADICAL OPENMINDEDNESS (something that improved my life so much) Lastly, to hit the point home, one of them became close friends with me (he is almost 22 now, we are now close friends outside tutoring), he is open-minded when it came to nootropics. He couldn't care less. So he got alpha-GPC (provides choline that one should get from nutrition but our food is lacking in it heavily). I was tutoring him and I would ask him things as I tutor to check his understanding. This guy was not understanding it. His brain fog was intense. I told him to go take an alpha-GPC capsule at 300 mg. He did. I began to tutor again and this same kid was drawing connections and understanding what I was saying at a level that I never saw before... This is a truth of human nature that I see so often: Humans complain and suffer. Their culture draws fictional constraints on what is "okay' and "not-okay." Their mind then internalizes them like those distinctions are actually real. By doing so, the mind MAKES THEM REAL. A guy like me or Leo comes and tells them "hey, here is the solution, but it is counter-intuitive, and you probably never did this." They have no open-mindedness. Their mind has fully ingrained and accepted the cultural constraints. As such they dismiss the saviour and the cure. They continue to suffer. Their suffering mind begins to ruin the world with bad choices coming from an unholistic perspective. Now others suffer from their selfishness The others that suffered then get a guy like Leo or me telling them a solution, those also reject it and go ruin the world The CYCLE REPEATS in a nasty strange loop of destruction.
  2. I watched carefully Blue, Orange, Green, and now on Yellow (ABSOLUTELY LIFE CHANGING) Now we need that Turquoise!
  3. Oh nice! Awesome!
  4. I just watched Leo's Stage Green video and took many notes and found it very insightful and incredible. However, as I continued to contemplate it, I found 2 more excesses to Green that he may have forgotten to mention and that I WANT TO SHARE WITH Y'ALL: 1) Implicit racism of Green that comes from good intention. Bear with me on this one . Stage Green can be implicitly racist with good intention by dividing mankind into the "oppressor" class and "oppressed" class and then blaming everything on the oppressor and absolving the "oppressed" from anything they may do. This is done in a neurotic manner that lacks nuance and systems thinking. For example, as an Iraqi that grew up in Iraq in the pre-2003 Saddamist era and the Post-2003 US occupation era, I got to see that racism of Green after I moved to Canada. While the American government caused immense destabilization, had a ridiculously stupid foreign policy in Iraq, and took very uncalculated and heavy-handed moves, the Iraqis are usually to blame for the mess that ensued. I know this, I lived it, and I have seen what Iraqis of the tribal class have done and all the militias they formed and all of the exploitation they did to each other. I am not getting into all of the technical details and minutia of that right now however. Anyways, I move to Canada and then encounter the quintessential Stage Green liberals and they would tell me of how the Americans are fully to blame and you can feel this serious concern for these "poor Iraqis" as these innocent victims and how the Americans are so evil. They fully ignore the billions of dollars that Americans gave to Iraqi Officials to help them build Iraq only for Iraqi officials to embezzle them and pocket some to themselves, fund militias that kill civilians, and even help out Iran after all the sanctions were put onto them. And the worse part is how Iraqi Citizens repeatedly complain about these officials and then reelect them every time for tribal reasons. This is quite racist in my opinion because this narrative is undergirded by a racist idea of American Whites being the "superior adults" and the Iraqis being "inferior minors" and that any mess happening in Iraq would 100% be the fault of the "adults!" A helpful analogy: if an adult leaves a bunch of 4 year olds in a house full of knives on the floor and gasoline and fire sources and those 4 year olds hurt each other and kill each other and destroy the house...whom do we blame? THE ADULTS. But I want you guys to realize that Green will view White Americans as the "adults" and Iraqi OFFICIALS/POLITICIANS as "minors" who are poor victims without realizing that these GROWN MEN are actual criminals mostly responsible for the immense damage that happened. The stage yellow point of view is seeing that Iraqis were (AND STILL ARE) at a Stage Red of development and it was mostly a clash of Orange intervention onto a Red/Blue primitive society. However, Green does NOT KNOW this but the way they behave does betray some implicit racism and when you point this out to them, they deny, deflect, and gaslight and look seriously distressed cuz they see the truth in it. The distress on their faces is especially poignant when they know the person accusing them of this racism is INDEED AN IRAQI. 2) Hypocrisy in inclusivity that comes off as being cringy. They would be inclusive of minorities in TV Series of "period pieces" that portray life in Europe during the 19th century OR prior. However, they would never do the reverse. This again comes from their simplistic worldview of pigeonholing mankind into categories of "oppressor" vs "oppressed." I was watching this show called "Bridgerton" set in 1813 in London UK. I then begin seeing characters that are of the supposed nobility in 1813 UK that are black and south asian. I am SO GRATEFUL to Leo for introducing me to Spiral Dynamics because I looked at it and smiled and had this "AH HAH!!" or "EUREKA" moment where it all came together for me as a stage green political move. I am still going to watch the show but it looks kinda cringy cuz you know damn well there were no African or South Asian nobility in 1813 UK. The hypocrisy of this is that if they produce a show in 1813 China, all of the characters will be Chinese or at least East Asian. THEY WON'T EVEN INCLUDE ACTORS THAT ARE SOUTH ASIAN, MIDDLE EASTERN, or from any of the other minority races that are "oppressed" and "marginalized" in their world view. I saw the same thing in the beauty and the beast movie. That story was set in the mid 1700s in France. Anyways, the old me would be triggered by these issues but now, spiral dynamics really helps me see it for what it is, a step in the development of western society towards collective systems thinking!
  5. This must be how Jordan Peterson felt when he was being interviewed by Cathy Newman. "Inequality against the Handicapped is mended by more inequality in stage green" Cathy, "So you're saying that black people are comparable to handicapped people? THAT'S RACIST" Jordan: "Wait what? No, that's not what I said" Racism being mentioned in the thread does not mean that we are talking about black people. In fact, the first post is talking about IRAQI PEOPLE. But you projecting the idea of black people after we mentioned racism just shows me that you are most likely an American and have this Americo-centric point of view where you assume that "racism = black people" which you need to work on. Not only did you project this idea, you also added another projection, that us talking about inequality against the handicapped means we are comparing black people to those who are handicapped, we never did such a comparison and we never brought up black people. That projection probably happened from you thinking that racism and inequality are synonyms in an unconscious sense. Like, you know they aren't synonyms on a conscious level but when you skimmed quickly, you assumed us talking about inequality means we are still talking about racism (which is only a form of on inequality) and this brought black people on the line for you. And yes, Leo was alluding to positive discrimination, and no it isn't worse than negative discrimination. Yes, it is unconscious but in no way can you imagine that something like affirmative action is worse than Jim Crow laws...it's bad yes, but nowhere near worse than negative discrimination. It is unconcious but coming from good intention and the damage it does is literally trivial in comparison to negative discrimination. Also, I want to mention that I am not attacking you nor do I think you are actually antagonizing us! I sincerely think you had good intention but I am pointing out certain biases and misunderstandings and projections that you made and need to be careful of. These can came from an Americo-centric point of view. That can easily be worked on by watching documentaries of racism in other parts of the world or reading books or watching Leo's videos because I love how he expands on his channel on examples that extend beyond America.
  6. I can't tell if you are trolling or instigating an argument here out of thin air. Also, all Leo did was mention handicapped people as a marginalized community and a minority that suffers some inequality and suggested a rhetorical method for reparation/compensation to prove his point; the point being that Green tends to overcompensate in their correction of inequality and they do so by literally using inequality... Nowhere did he even mention black people in his response. And nowhere did anyone mention black people on this thread. And I can't even conceive of anyone who has began to genuinely enter stage green and understands the spiral to actually be racist in the traditional stage-blue (and under) sense of the word.
  7. @SonataAllegro Yes, this is very true and it is why I mention it as an excess of green. It is not applicable to a healthy green the properly integrated the lessons of blue and orange. Right, and when I call them "racist" here, they aren't SERIOUSLY RACIST. It is a very warped situation where they have SO MUCH empathy for marginalized communities or people in 3rd world nations (who happened to be victims of Western Imperialism) that they literally develop an implicit racism.
  8. Yep, this is why I say that their racism has good intention.Green has this noble pursuit of trying to wipe out hundreds of years of history where the colonial European whites oppressed and marginalized minorities from the colonies that they discovered back when they were all stage blue. As Green goes about this noble pursuit, they do cringy things like trying to reinvent a non-racist history. Or, they do something like FALSELY assuming that every nation impacted by western imperialism is a mess SOLELY from the actions of the western occupiers (or distant western meddlers). When in reality the mess is insanely multifactorial and requires serious systems thinking and there are no clear black-and-white "bad guys" and "good guys."
  9. Possibly, but not gonna lie, the show "Bridgerton" is wonderful! I really like it lmao! The more I progress through the first episode, the less I care about there being non-white members of the English nobility.
  10. I wanna do a solo nature retreat since the weather in my country is now getting very nice. I have never ever been camping and never actually done anything like this. I am thinking of doing 2 days since I am a noob. I think it will be radically healing for me. If anyone goes camping or hiking, what should I bring? How do you guys plan this to make your stay more on the pleasant side let's say? I want to spend it just walking around in nature and contemplating. I hate the concrete jungle in which I live.
  11. I want recommendations for strains of Psilocybin mushrooms that you guys personally know of that are the least sedative and are excellent for staying awake and sitting and contemplating things. I am aware that a person's neurology will fully determine how they respond to each strain, but again, some pointers would help.
  12. It could be both or it could only be that he wants to try and sleep with you. But, in each condition, him wanting to sleep with you is part of it. So just be conscious of that. And yes, I can imagine he must be attractive because otherwise you would have blocked him after the first mistake!
  13. Interesting perspective there man. I just hope I stay awake while doing any of them. Currently, I tried an unknown strain and then tried Penis Envy and both made me super lethargic and sleepy. I got golden teacher and blue meanie as well. We'll see what each does.
  14. Again, very impressive articulation of what is going on at the mind of blue vs higher stages when it comes to something like "actions speak louder than words." I have literally seen it in my life where they try to convince you of a value of a particular concept by pointing to its constancy throughout history. THEY LITERALLY DO THAT LOL. But what you say about Yellow in the end makes me believe that Tier 2 cannot be entered only through expansion of consciousness (as all the other stages would). A tier 2 individual with systems thinking needs to have a superior cognitive ability, intelligence, and a wide breadth to his/her lexicon (which is developed from their ability to read a lot of books) to simply be able to truly dive in that stage. That's the only way they can articulate the power of tradition with a systems-thinking perspective.
  15. I just watched the video on Stage Blue by @Leo Gura. It is an absolute masterpiece since he was literally describing my relatives and some people I met from Louisiana. However, he mentions how there are a few slogans that epitomize stage blue. I can see blue in all of them except: "Actions Speak Louder Than Words." "Honesty Is the Best Policy" I was guessing that "Honesty Is the Best Policy" is blue due to their neurotic attachment towards being truthful WITHOUT CONSIDERING NUANCE in some situations. It might be linked to their compulsive desire to be these people who want to uphold what their religion tells them, "Tell the truth or you go to the everlasting fire." However, I am definitely not stage blue but I do believe that Actions Speak Louder than Words to a huge extent. ESPECIALLY WHEN IT COMES TO STAGE BLUE THEMSELVES. For example, in my country, those who are most religious and pray the most and are the most sanctimonious in their moralizing of others tend to cheat and steal and lie the most...As such, their actions speak louder than their empty words. The only way I can see this "actions speak louder than words" as blue is if I consider it as being something lacking nuance and how it lacks an ability to go Meta. But then again, ask any stage orange if they resonate with "actions speak louder than words," and they MOST CERTAINLY WILL. Ask any stage green, and most of them will too. I don't get how this is distinctively blue.
  16. Yea, I intuited that it is their lack of abstraction ability and their fixation on literalism that might make it blue. DUDE EXACTLY. That is why while I am definitely no longer blue, I can resonate with this idea. For me, it is all about being genuine and actualizing what you truly believe rather than talking a lot about your lofty ideals and moralizing while not actually following through with it in your life. You can't respect those people, no matter what stage they are. That's why I had difficulty seeing why this is A QUINTESSENTIAL blue thing, because I'm not blue but I get it and agree with it. But like Carl explained, the blue part about it is the fact that it is reductive, simplistic, and focuses on concrete and visible stuff rather than the abstractions and ignores nuance. So that is what makes it blue, but it still holds merit. I guess that a stage Green or Yellow can believe the same thing but to him it is not an "end-all-be-all" type of thing. He agrees with it but is FULLY CONSCIOUS of the nuance.
  17. Bro this is literally me. My life got fucked up forreal after living in Canada for the last 2 years. Honestly, when it gets nasty, I go for a walk with good music, or what is better is a run outside with good music. It helps. Also cold showers help. You might think "who cares, I just wanna die" but that's legit me until I start running and suddenly now I don't wanna die. Weight lifting can have the same effect but cardio always better.
  18. Probably tired from health issues. Maybe also that even though Solipsism feels amazing, it can be a bit draining on your Ego over time.
  19. Exactly My thoughts dude Yea, like it seems from your post that you are aware and conscious enough to handle such a talk, but LITERALLY at least 90% of girls would flip out and demonize the guy and if GOD FORBID they had a past experience of being cheated on...OH BOY, IT WILL BE A FIGHT AND IT WILL BE VICIOUS. Him saying over and over that it makes him feel guilty out of his Love for her would be completely irrelevant. More girls can definitely handle that one. But MANY are so low consciousness that if you bring that up out of a sudden without actually setting up a relationship as being communicative from day one, they will begin to ask "WHY ARE WE TALKING ABOUT THIS? DO YOU HAVE SOMETHING TO SAY TO ME?" LMAOO
  20. High Consciousness vs Low Consciousness in terms of relationships is NOT determined by the modality of how the relationship is carried out (i.e. Polyamory or Monogamy). It is all about HOW MUCH LOVE, RESPECT, CONSIDERATION, OPENNESS, KINDNESS, TRUTHFULNESS, TRANSPARENCY is being practiced with ALL the members involved in such relationships. For example, if it is monogamous and LOVE, RESPECT, CONSIDERATION, OPENNESS, KINDNESS, TRUTHFULNESS, TRANSPARENCY is practiced between you two and this is FULLY MUTUAL, then it is high consciousness. If it is polyamorous and LOVE, RESPECT, CONSIDERATION, OPENNESS, KINDNESS, TRUTHFULNESS, TRANSPARENCY is practiced between all of who is involved and this is FULLY MUTUAL for all parties, then it is high consciousness. Your instinct is your heart. Your heart has Truth. Follow it. The only reason you are conflicted with Polyamory is probably because it got brought up a lot as you researched things and now you think "Maybe my instinct is wrong, maybe my heart is wrong." Align your mind with your spirit. If the spirit said monogamy, then the mind should work towards monogamy with a good girl/guy/whoever-you're-into. Someone might come and say "Polyamory is a more high consciousness modality of relationships since you get to experience Love from different people and you enjoy what each has to offer as they enjoy what YOU have to offer them." That will sound convincing but again if your heart is more leaning towards one person, follow it. Is polyamory wrong/evil? NO, it just means that you have a monogamy preference and that is OKAY. Someone else will lean towards Polyamory. The level of consciousness is then determined by how you go about it.
  21. Leo, I believed the same thing, but your radical open-mindedness video and "Assumption is the Mother of All Fuckups" made me think "maybe this is an assumption." I went on No-Fap and it honestly changed my life. As the OP @Someone here mentions, I feel like shit after fapping. I don't want to do anything with my life after I nut. This is ESPECIALLY true if the fapping is to porn. The way it drains my dopamine system is insane. To others reading this and wondering, yes I grew up in a stage blue society but moved to Canada while still young and I am very sexually open and don't have any stage blue religious thinking and don't practice any religion. So to answer you @Someone here, I am with you. In fact, I went on a super long streak of over 500 days of NoFap and NoPorn. Went back to Porn and then lost all motivation in life. Quit porn again and now I am achieving and "GO GO GO" all the time. I am reading what @Leo Gura and @LordFall have said and I am looking at the experiences of my friends and it seems to me that this toxic reaction to porn is EITHER: Something that occurs to particular individuals Or those who enjoy porn are not conscious of how much it limits their potential to achieve in life. Meaning, if those who like porn can open their mind to NoFap and truly practice transmutation, MAYBE they can do better and more in their life. Leo, MANY of the things you mentioned on your Detox video (for example about how you sleep less and have more energy)...MAN THAT WAS WHAT HAPPENED TO ME AND MANY NOFAPPERS (we are talking 1000s of testimonies) when we quit porn, I got these amazing benefits. Again, I GENUINELY don't know if it is a matter of just some men being too sensitive with their dopamine system getting fried too quickly by porn and experience all these adverse effects (like myself and @Someone here and many NoFap success stories) or all men are like this but some just don't have enough open mindedness to TRY and see how they can jack up their results!
  22. @Thought Art I had amazing hair. I used to get a skin fade and looked like a stud. However, I started balding and before it got too obvious, I took the plunge and shaved it. MAN, IT IMPROVED MY RESULTS WITH WOMEN. The thing is that with hair, I had a "pretty boy vibe" even with the beard. With the bald head (and even with it growing at 0.5 mm), I now look like an MMA fighter and have this masculine intimidating look. As such, women find me hotter. Even if they didn't, it doesn't matter, because attraction for WOMEN is not based on how you look but on who you are. You only ask this question because as men we all really care about how a girl looks because if she gets overweight, she is literally no longer hot. But that is not how it works for men. I KNOW YOU MAY DOUBT THAT, but the only way to let go of this belief is to go out and talk to girls OR see bald guys getting girls obsessed with them lol
  23. @somegirl As a guy that slept with a lot of girls, without any use of such forms of manipulation (but still I am aware of these tactics inside-out), I will tell you what I think is exactly what happened. So if I understand correctly, you cut this guy off and he came back after 2 years and now he brings up how bad it is that you guys stopped talking and how bad it is that he "made you feel that way." BUT, for 2 whole years, he never thought about how bad it is...BUT SUDDENLY YOU MATTER AGAIN... Sweetie, what happened is that this guy probably had a rotation of girls since you stopped talking to him. However, something happened: One of the girls maybe moved out of town The other one maybe stopped talking to him The last one maybe found a man and doesn't wanna see him anymore Then he tried finding new girls, but it failed. Now he has been on a dry spell for a while. As such, he thought, "let me hit up that girl from 2 years ago cuz she liked me but then cut me off." And SUDDENLY he is apologetic and cares about you. Honestly, from the fact that you posted this, it seems to me that you really care about him and cannot sleep with him without old wounds being reopened. So, as Leo said, don't be gullible. I am a guy that knows how guys think. If you wanna be hurt again, go head, otherwise, DON'T DO IT. Let go and find a guy that matters...
  24. It does not get more blue than this. Every single scene is screaming BLUE here.
  25. @bmcnicho Same thing happened with me, I just get lethargic with a microdose, and a macrodose get me super sleepy. The higher the dose, the more guaranteed I'm sleeping. I wanna try LSD but I don't know if it will make me sleep too.
