  1. If god is realizing your are infinite, how can you reach the "Highest awakening" @Leo Gura? You say that no amount of mediation, yoga, kundalini, shamanic breathing will get one to this level, yet you leave out psychedelics. Are you actually fully awake, or could the possibility exist that you simply self-deluded yourself while taking 5 meo, or any drug for that matter? I love your work Leo, but you did come off as an arrogant asshole to me in your last video, and I mean that constructively. Do you know that when you come out with such a claim, that you discount THOUSANDS of years of traditions and practices that were built for the very purpose of reaching this state of "highest" truth. Sure maybe our favorite teachers like the Buddha, Jesus, Sadhguru, etc. may have not reached the level of awakening that you claim to have reached, but those guys went pretty damn far without using any drugs. Also how can there be a "highest awakening", when being itself is an infinite thing? This confuses me. I hope you take my comments as not hating on your work, but rather a genuine expression of how I felt about your last video
  2. I need some insight in life right now, as I feel rather directionless and lost. This feeling has gotten me so messed up that its putting a strain on ALL of my relationships, to the point where I feel like I need to "survive" in this social matrix. For this reason, I've seen myself grow from cool, confident, and having spiritual security to being bitter, angry all the time, having feelings of jealousy and insecurity, and a general lack of stability. I know a lot of people use psychedelics as a means of stimulating their mind to discover "new perspectives", and because of that I have also wanted to try a psychedelics. However, because of my general lack of emotional stability in my life, I decided that I will not be taking a psychedelic anytime soon. Are there any other ways I can get myself to a certain "state" where I can get some of these insights? I know meditation is one way, but I also know that I would have to put in HOURS of meditation each day for many years just to open the door to these insights. Along with meditation, are there any other techniques (breathing or otherwise) that will take me to these mentally stimulated states faster?
  3. I think its going to be a situation where by the end of Spring 2022, we all might have to get another booster to fight this variant.
  4. If I want to reduce overall body fat, but NOT lose any weight, what type of workouts could help me achieve this result? (I know running is helpful, but doing it too much just leads to weight loss).
  5. So in a way, we just need to grow a pair and deal with our shit?
  6. Completely unrelated, but that won't be a problem for other parts of Europe and the west, since they are white and european immigrants, I don't see any far right outcry happening because of "refugees".
  7. @Terell Kirby are your opportunities tech related?
  8. Both are extremely global, diverse, and expensive cities. I've only been to SF a handful of times, but I do consistently go to NYC (easy commute from Jersey). NYC is amazing and pretty much has all the same opportunities SF has. In my opinion, SF is way more stage green, where as NYC way is more stage orange. However, NYC beats SF any day when it comes to culture. In SF now, the culture from my understanding mostly consists of tech nerds. NYC's cultural heritage goes back centuries, and many of the local culture/art scene circles consist of people from more diverse backgrounds. So if you want a place that runs on Stage Green ideals, I'd go SF. If you want to live a fast paced life, expose yourself to different perspectives, a better dating market, and simply more diverse, then NYC wins all day.
  9. I understand poverty and corruption inevitably lead to criminality, but this seems to be not the case everywhere. When looking at countries in southeast asia, poor countries (India, Bangladesh, Vietnam, Thailand, etc.), we see extremely low criminality rates. Yet South America and Africa have some of the highest murder rates in the world. Why do a lot poor countries in these continents suffer such high criminality, where as poor countries in Asia seem to have extremely low criminality (lower than some countries in the west too)?
  10. Not pointing out any groups. An African person was born in Norway not born in poverty will not likely be involved in any crime. I'm looking based on a national level, not an ethnic group level.
  11. I don't even think Jesus or the Buddha were perfect human beings either. Heck even Leo isn't the most perfect human being (but no hate!)
  12. Man needs a break I guess, I can imagine doing a video for 3 hours straight can be mentally taxing.
  13. So I bought an acoustic a month back, and I now that I have time to start this hobby, I've decided to start playing guitar from scratch. The most I've done so far is trying to tone my guitar, but other than that, did not start playing any real tunes. Any recommendations for where and how to start playing?
  14. Does this also extend to people who vape?
  15. Yea a lot more people who are trying to "increase" their consciousness have some bs ideas on race haha
  16. Fuck Apu bro....Indian Americans had to deal with a shit ton of stereotypes because of that cringe ass character
  17. @JonasVE12 I'm looking to able to eventually go down a path of being able to express myself, so I guess as you said I should start with getting familiar and comfortable with music theory?
  18. It's really stupid. Its essentially a dumb "global north" vs "global south" thing. There are plenty of greek neo nazis, even though many themselves look dark/look Israeli.
  19. Not sure, but my guess is that when the Jews arrived 1000+ years ago, the native Medieval European kingdoms saw them as outsiders, and hence a threat. Many Jews even died during the Crusades for this reason.
  20. Antisemitism has been in Europe for centuries, I'm sure when Hitler came out against Jews in his speeches, your average European wasn't in shock, but either was nonchalant or even agreed to his points. The same goes for his racialist views. These things were not "fringe" back in early 20th century Europe, in a way they were a part of the mainstream.
  21. @Dryas I thought the exact same thing when I was a teenager. Give yourself some years of life experience, and then go back and read the Alchemist again. Trust me, it will hit you very differently, and you will have a newfound respect for the meaning behind the book.
  22. He talks about living a conscious life purpose. I love how he explains this using aspects of magical realism.
  23. How come in the west, society is a lot more relaxed on sexuality, drinking, drug use, and new and abstract ways of thinking, whereas in eastern cultures from my experience (and as an Indian American), society leans more towards being uptight about those things listed? What makes western culture unique in that its more open in that regards? Not saying any culture is right or wrong, considering that culture itself is heavily nuanced, and right and wrong are almost always biased.
  24. Yea, but even stage blue people here in America don't have as much of an uptight view on those things.
  25. My best guess would be innate survival instincts?
