  1. If evil is caused by ignorance, which I agree with, then fighting evil doesn't help because you're not removing the ignorance that is causing it. And removing ignorance is up to each individual. You can't do it for others. You're basically fighting with symptoms. Which isn't to say that criminals shouldn't be put in jail etc. which is a practical thing. But if you see them as evil that needs to be fought, it's just a reflection of your state of consciousness.
  2. Don't forget: Trump is God. All his actions are pure love.
  3. There is a difference between identifying with the Absolute and realizing that there is only the Absolute. In the first case, there is still someone there who is identifying with it, and identification is only possible with something relative. In the Absolute there's only the Absolute. No place for something else because there is nothing else. By imaginary I mean an image of it in the mind which is confused for the real thing. And this distinction is important because people often have an awakening, lose it and then try to recreate it in their mind. Saying that there are no distinctions... well, you might as well identify with a shoe since it's also it.
  4. It's not possible to identify with the essence of the Absolute because it's not an experience that can be identified with. If there is such an identification, it means a relative experience (usually an imaginary Absolute) has been appointed to be the Absolute.
  5. I go to this mahasamadhi every night.
  6. Multiple experiences don't require duality if it is known that it is the same essence unfolding as multiplicity. The experience of duality happens when experiences are believed to have their own existence.
  7. In case he didn't mahasamadhi, he'll mahasamadhi then.
  8. The 'small you' is the ego identified with individuality and the 'big you' is the ego identified with universal aspects. Same entity, different clothing.
  9. Why do you want to do that?
  10. Something that is infinite cannot be the ultimate. Infinity still implies some sort of space. Without space, the concept of infinity collapses. The ultimate realization is not infinity. It is the essence of both infinity, finity and absolutely everything that can be experienced.
  11. The witness, consciousness and awareness are all different things. The witness is actually an egoic stance. When you start dissolving identifications, at some point the ego will jump to "I'm a witness unaffected by anything", but it's just the opposite side of "I'm a victim and everything is affecting me". I agree that thinking about consciousness is pointless. It's not about studying anything. Studying is only important in order to understand how to practice.
  12. It's guilt and self-punishment, basically. But not as a person. A person is already the result of it.
  13. No. Awareness is one of its primary aspects. Absolutizing one of the primary aspects is how individual consciousness avoids realizing God, because it still keeps its identity as "the one who is deciding what the Absolute reality is", which places it even above the Absolute.
  14. There are 2 types of non-duality. 1 - Consciousness and its appearances are not two (there is no ego at this point). This consciousness is still separate from its Essence/God, by believing that it IS God/Absolute/Has its own existence. 2 - Consciousness is let go of and only God remains. Usually, when people use the term non-duality, they talk about the first type. True non-duality IS God realization.
  15. The ones who truly know don't say much about it because nothing can be said about it.
  16. It's worth saying that limitation does not equal separation. While limitation is necessary to have an experience, separation is not necessary. And it's the game of separation that causes suffering.
  17. The point of cessation is not to have a cool experience. The point is that once you have a cessation, your perception of yourself and the world is permanently changed. That doesn't happen from sleeping or passing out.
  18. Don't just believe everything Leo says. A lot of it is just him inferring and projecting stuff. Like, "Why would God create delusion?" - "Well, because he got bored". Since he hasn't transcended his ego, he's identifying with God (or, rather, with Consciousness that believes it is God) and then projecting human emotions onto God, like boredom. Another idea that he pulls out of his ass is that you'll play the game of fall asleep/wake up forever, as if Samsara is the only game there is in the entire universe.
  19. Meaning is just something imaginary the mind wants as opposed to what is here right now.
  20. True, but one sided. If you're not spiritually gifted, then technique matters way more than it is for spiritually gifted people. So it's important to have a teacher who knows all the subtleties of a technique and can point out any mistakes one is making. Self inquiry is not as simple as asking "who am I?".
  21. True. And it manifests on the mental level as what they call an I-thought.
