I think it's obvious that someone who is a part of chains of causation cannot circumvent them. -

That very longing for trial & tribulation that you experienced was suffering. If you weren't still suffering you wouldn't be looking for something else. The heaven wasn't good enough. -

Watch Leo for entertainment, kinda like how you read trip reports on erowid. -
How do you know this? But even if that were true, this logic is like saying, why do activities that increase dopamine if I can just snort some cocaine and have a much higher level of dopamine than any of those activities will ever produce. Why have a romantic relationship if I can just take mdma and feel way more love than I would in a relationship. Just because an experience is mediated by a certain chemical doesn't mean it's good enough to take that chemical and have the experience. This is also not taking into the account that if one is having a spontaneous awakening, it means they're ready; neurotransmitters are a byproduct of that readiness, not a cause.

I think people who say they want Truth for its own sake are lying. If you intuitively knew that Truth is horrible, you would never look for it. You'd try to stay as ignorant as possible. The reason you want it is because you're suffering and want to come back to your natural state which is free of suffering. If you were utterly happy and content being ignorant you wouldn't even think about Truth. Buddhism is just honest about this. -

I doubt you actually believe that when you're in deep suffering. -
Trampolining to high levels of consciousness is not the same as reaching them and staying there.

It seems like you're trying to jump to some advanced stages of Realization without going through the first stages and laying the foundation. You need to awaken your self first before you can sacrifice it. -

Deep sleep is a state of total ignorance. -
What he means is they don't increase consciousness in a permanent way. It's clear from the next sentence. They take you to higher states by affecting your neurochemistry, whereas spiritual practice takes you there by clearing the gunk that's in the way. Having a pump at the gym is useless if your muscles don't grow bigger and stronger as a result of it.

Yes. And so are yours. -

If you think you know or understand something, that's not awakening. The moment you open your mouth, you're talking bs. "I am God" is as much bs as anything else. Just a more grandiose type of bs. -
Put some lube on your finger and some hcl salt on the tip of your finger. Now stick your finger up your butt, all the way in. Now move it out, but not all the way. Then put it back all the way in. Keep doing that until you reach the desired level of awakening.

The separate self has many layers. I suggest that most of it has not been dissolved if you're compelled to act in negative ways. -
Women are attracted to men that can make them laugh. Men are attracted to women that appreciate their sense of humour.

I don't see anyone boycotting American people. Ironically, often times Ukrainian people suffer from this because the people they get attacked or boycotted by didn't care to find out where they're from.

Zelensky knew the invasion would start but lied to Ukrainians and told them not to worry. According to his advisor, Arestovich, they lied in order to avoid mass evacuation that would clog the roads, which would get in the way of bringing military equipment from the West to the East of Ukraine. An alternative, he says, would be to run over their own citizens with tanks and shoot them in order to get over the bridges. Also Arestovich: The national idea of Ukraine, one of the central ideas, is to lie as much as possible to ourselves and others because if we tell the truth, everything will collapse and we will have to make up something else. Zelensky is good at it. -

The best mind can do is produce another thought. Even if it seems like a great explanation. The best you can do is relax and enjoy it. -

True. To have such a strong opinion about buddhism, that "buddhists are morons" etc. while not having attained any of the buddhist paths is very closed-minded and arrogant. -
For those who still think vaccines are end all be all for managing the covid pandemic, here's a recent clip from Bill Gates himself.

Just google "when science was wrong" and you'll get plenty of examples. I don't see how that contradicts anything. Sure, every corporation wants to make more money and outcompete other corporations. There's something that connects them though. You can find all of the 4 main covid vaccine producers here: https://www.weforum.org/partners/ CEO of Pfizer: https://www.weforum.org/agenda/authors/albert-bourla CEO of Moderna: https://www.weforum.org/agenda/authors/stephane-bancel CEO of AstraZeneca: https://www.weforum.org/agenda/authors/pascal-soriot Bill Gates: https://www.weforum.org/agenda/authors/billgates Anthony Fauci: https://www.weforum.org/people/anthony-s-fauci etc, all are their “agenda contributors”. Check different people who are pushing vaccine mandates. Most of them you can find as WEF’s agenda contributors. Now, learn what their agenda is and tell me it’s not connected to vaccine mandates, vaccine passports etc.
-
Scientists are not always right about everything. Do you know how many times science has been wrong? And yes, you're foolish to fully trust scientists that work for (or are affiliated with) corporations where billions of dollars are to be made and which are connected to the WEF, who are very open about 'using a good crisis' to push their agenda.

Can someone tell me at least one good reason to vaccinate children who are at pretty much zero risk of dying from covid and most of whom have already been exposed to the virus?
