  1. @Krishna Siva Closing the gap to the source. Not being caught up in the thought-sense patterns of the self.
  2. @Faceless Maybe. I would like to hear it from the OP though.
  3. Except the meat itself which can be the culprit. @Colin I researched a little and came across this video. Seems like high meat consumption is linked to depression.
  4. @Colin Shawn Baker has done the carnivore diet for a whole year and still does it. He did a blood test with some concerning results. He had bad testosterone levels and had several indicators of being pre diabetic. There are no links to meat curing depression in any scientific studies so take what jordan peterson with some grain of salt.
  5. @TheSomeBody if you are going raw vegan bananas are a good carbohydrate source that doesn't require any cooking. Oatmeal is another great food but requires some soaking in liquid before eating. One of the most nutritious is sweet potatoes or yams. The main thing eaten in the okinawan diet. You cant eat those completly raw however but here is a great tip to warm them to a temperature where the nutrients doesn't get destroyed.
  6. @Charlotte Maybe your forcing things to much? Perhaps you can ease your way into the practice rather than push to make things happen? If I'm making any sense to you.
  7. @Feel Good I don't think they have no. I don't think spiral dynamics is meant as a map for enlightenment. There are however other maps of the different stages of enlightenment such as the 4 stages in buddhism or the oxherder paintings.
  8. That is definetly a trap. Isn't it just a thought? Start integrating those experiences if you want to go deeper.
  9. @Delmo That was the wrong video.
  10. @blazed They are at stage turquoise but they haven't fully embodied the enlightenment. Some might be stuck in the absolute perspective, that nothing needs to be changed, everything is perfect just as it is. Others might be holding on to the realization (the blissful experiences). There can be many reasons really.
  11. Sound to me like an awakening of the heart. Makes life feel dreamlike. Is there a feeling of one? Like the observer and observed has merged together?
  12. @Pamela Zamora Senses are feeling, seeing, hearing, smelling, tasting. That is all input there is. Thought creates stories around these inputs and creates a sense of self (identification) to some of these sense inputs.
  13. @Victor Mgazi What, would you say, is ego? Does thought "trigger" feelings in the body and vice versa? How about the other sensations, can they trigger thoughts and feelings?
  14. @A Seeker was there any fear arising?
  15. If it's your body then the body can't be you can it? That is what you are saying right? That the body IS you? Then why are you calling it your body? That means that there is something or soneone that the body belongs to. So what is that something/someone?
  16. @Butters If you are in to spirituality for finding truth I see no reason to waste your time on these things. Use it for spitual practices instead.
  17. @Gligorije I think, therefore I am. Descartes premis is that there is a thinker, but the thinker is either part of the thought or another thought taking ownership of the first thought. Non duality says that there is no thinker, no subject which has ownership of the thought. So no they don't go well together.
  18. Yes I know what you mean. There is that here but there is still some reactivity left. From the "knot" in the gut that says "NO" to certain experiences. If I'm making sense?
  19. You express it well. Bravo. Because there is no separation between awareness and the thought yes. I can see that what I expressed wasn't pointing exactly to truth. Thank you.
  20. A thought arises and passes. Is that what you mean by a stream? Then yes the stream is an actuality (I would use occurrence).
  21. So what happens now? That question, where does it come from? What wants to know what happens?
  22. Stream is a concept, a thought Thought is never aware. What is aware of thought?
