  1. @Beeflamb The path to truth is seeing through the illusion of ego by letting go of egoic thought and feelings that arises. That's it. Everything else is distractions.
  2. Yes and even that is saying too much. "No one" and "no owner" doesn't exist. It's a thought and doesn't point to anything within reality. Non-existence doesn't exist.
  3. The sufferer IS identification to thought and feeling. To say that it's never been would be to say that identification to thought and feeling has never been. We can say that it's illusiory but to say it doesn't exist clearly isn't true.
  4. Suffering can lead to awakening but nothing is certain. If the suffering becomes so immense that the suffering becomes unbearable there might be a letting go of the suffering. But why not start letting go of suffering before that point? Yes, why ascetism? Why not enjoy life instead? Learn to use the mechanism of letting go of emotional pain and transcend it into unconditional love and beyond.
  5. @Vynce Nice to hear about your realizations. ? Most people are not ready to hear about these things so the best teaching in my opinion is not to speak about this but act from love and when they are ready they will come to you and ask.
  6. I can't... is a belief. Believing that you can't might feel like hopelessness/resignation. Impossible.. Can you question your belief of "I can't"? Maybe you can turn the I can't to I am not willing? Maybe you haven't been able to accept the fear earlier but maybe it will be possible to meet it now or in the future?

  9. Maybe the next level is the letting go of perfectionism? Why do you feel the need to be perfect? Might be to private to answer on a forum but maybe worth contemplating.
  10. What is in the resistance? What feelings come up?
  11. Sometimes it helps to turn the "I can't" to an "I won't". Instead of feeling helpless by this "I can't" there might be an "I can, but I won't" and inquire into what feeling is behind that unwillingness to go into the disgust.
  12. Bringing the thought back is doing. If you catch yourself dismissing thought then drop that intention. If a similiar thought comes up or not just let it happen.

  16. ?? @cookiemonster Humans have the capability to imagine there own death without even being close to death. Wow the suffering that can be created by that is immense.

  18. @Eternal Unity Was the diagnosis due to the scientific paradigms interpretation of your experiences or do you think you actually have that disorder?
  19. @Flowerfaeiry To become selfless you need to let go of selfish feelings like shame, fear and anger and transcend into unconditional love. It's all about surrender the self imo.
  20. "an unemployed human moron with a low IQ" appears as thought based on all the negative feelings that bubble up. Let go of those feelings. They are not serving you.

  22. @Someone here An enlightened person has transcended grief, which is a low level emotion, into love and stillness. There will however still be sadness and happiness.
