Fasting works because it makes you hungry. When you are hungry, you are not thinking about your problems. You are HUNGRY! I AM FUCKING HUNGRY!

Powerful. I like the way you write. The problem with chatgpt is that it would give a synopsis like: blah blah blah this is a technical explanation about how energy underlies the apparent desire blah blah But this is really pure comedy. And no chatgpt can comprehend cosmic humor. -
As I have suspected, it seems that my news source is boonk. All this time I've been getting my news from one obviously biased news source. I am a victim of unconsciously buying into its rhetoric. Now, as I truly know nothing, I beg for your forgiveness, renounce all that I have claimed or opined, and seek to free myself of the debaucherous chain-links of political identity, propaganda, hatred, and delusion. This subforum is not for me. I shall return once I have something positive to add. God Bless You All

@James123 hajur, yes, that is the ultimate question, very good work. Now plunge your finger into the immeasurable depths of your own anus and SEE, for the very first time, that YOU, SIR, have won the greatest prize of them all: a ONE-WAY TICKET TO NOWHERE! -
@danniel definitely does not justify attack on Iran, totally with you there. My point was just that Iran was tryna make dem Nukes And also my point is that Iran making nukes = threat to survival of Israel.

Israeli military technology is baffling. The precision. The sophistication. The intelligence (lowercase i, lolol) What if that intelligence was used for peaceful stuff?

By the way, you also know the Truth directly, you just don't know it yet! So I can also flip the humility card onto you, or better yet the Chutzpah card, and I ask: what makes you so sure that you are arguing with a kid on a forum? Bro, I EXIST IN YOUR MIND!!!! DIG IT! -

Yes bro, have solved all of philosophy & science. Wasn't even that hard. No-sweat. You can also solve all of philosophy and science. 1st step = realizing that it is not epic riddle to be solved by figuring shit out 2nd step = see that you are imagining that ALSO, and nothing is left unknown 3rd step = collapse all steps into tbe aforementioned ever-present singularity of nothing, my dude. -
@Raze uhhh, simple google search? Hello? (Edit: see that they enriched uranium ALMOST to weapons-grade, putting them days away from making dozens or so nukes. But what does that matter anyways? Does your argument of Iran making nukes being propaganda hinge on this turning point that is a matter of days?) Point is, Iran is tryna make dem nukes. Dat's why they be enriching da uranium, man.

@Anton Rogachevski you claimed that physics and ontology is reality's most basic ground. I am claiming that reality's most basic ground is nothing, for reality is groundless. Physics is just as real as unicorns — Just as tertiary an arising — Just as mental as any other imagining in the MIND OF GOD. -
@Raze how is it propaganda that Iran was making nukes? They have nuclear facilities??? Is that also propaganda?? "But No!! The Nuclear facilities are just so that they can have a safe space to talk about peace so that the Evil Zionist Entity doesn't destroy them!"

@Twentyfirst when an Iranian tells you that he is upset with the Aytolla Regime, and he is LIVING there, and you still double-down on your pro-Iranian position, does that mean that open-mindedness has flown out the window?
-
@BlessedLion you seem to hate Israel very much. But Iran: JUST FINE! How does this make sense? You leftists are framing this war as good vs. Evil. It is not that. It is evil vs. Evil.
-
@Twentyfirst the matter is not women choosing to dress a certain way, but them being forced to dress a certain way. They are so brainwashed that they cannot decide for themselves how to dress. They can't even see how it MIGHT BE just slightly illogical to wear a full head covering and hot ass clothes during the summer????

I also feel the need to worship, to pray, to venerate, to bow down in tears and gawk at the ineffable glory of isness! I think worshipping someone or something, however, can quickly lead to delusion. And that is what worship is, after all. It stands on the duality of worshipper and worshipped. If the goal is to unite the two, I think that's great! What a cool practice! But if the goal is to "pay your dues" or respects or whatever else to some deity or entity because it is great, then what's the point? You even said that God is within you. So the only one to worship is yourself, your majesty, your great, big, lovely presence, Someone Here. -

@Anton Rogachevski So if you accept the Wikipedia definition of Ontology, how can you claim that it is fundamental? Wikipedia defines it as a branch of philosophy. So, it is something humans invented. Here is how you can prove that Ontology is not fundamental to reality. Look at what's in front of you. Do you see any Ontology? No. That's a projection of your mind. What am I missing here? -
Hunger is an illusion. Here's why. Proof or explenation is not gonna cut it as a means to answer this question: why is hunger an illusion? It must be seen through, clearly. I am hungry all the time. The reason why is unclear. I make a list of rationalizations to myself about why I am hungry. I tell myself that I am hungry because I fasting, because I am not eating. It sounds like such a clever line of reasoning, but it collapses next to this one: How could "I" be hungry if "I" don't properly exist? Who is there to be hungry, to feel hunger, to need anything at all? This is the first step: realizing that there is no one. Now, even if it were true that I am hungry because I have not eaten food, it does not matter, because I am still hungry, and understanding why my hunger exists does not make it go away. It could very well be that a direct correlation is taking place between lacking food and feeling hungry. But I intuit that something much more sinister is going on here... Let's take a step back and dissect the concepts working in the background. If hunger is defined as an objective state that humans can reach, then my logic flies out the window. Indeed, if we inhabit a world of fixed and defined categories of felt emotion, then logic is no longer needed, for everything has already been made clear by the laws of men and their endless thoughts. But, if it is the case that emotions are more murky than hungry or sad, happy or mad, then a deeper investigation begets the discovery of who feels what, how, and why. When I feel hungry, I don’t like it. Thus I aim to get free of the perceived sensation of hunger such that I can bring my pain to an end. I associate the pain and the hunger, and just like that I have elaborately deceived myself. If I were to just eat food, then the hunger would go away. But the problem there is that something else would occupy my attention. And I would not be free. Because the hunger was never a problem to begin with. The problem was and always has been that I do not confront the totality of my present experience and instead label it unsatisfactorily and proceed to attempt to logic my way out of it, using steps, reason, argument, evidence, and proof. If I were to eat food, then what I perceive to be hunger would go away. But if I see what is underneath and behind and sourcing my hunger in this very moment, then I would not have to go through the trouble of eating food, for the truth is that nothing is necessary, not even survival. This runs counter to the desire to remain alive, but that desire is rotten since it backfires by taking one away even further from life, into the realms of dreaming about what could be better than It, than This, than Everything. The solution to feeling pain is not to label it and find a cure, but to collapse it into the void that has no meaning and is beyond pleasure and pain. The "hunger" I experience is an absolutely fundamental aspect of the great field of perception, but it is not hunger, for I only label it as such. I have learned throughout my life how to distinguish this from that. Emotions are just one such category within which more categories have been concocted, so many times over that they are now ingrained, used as filters that process raw qualia, missing the point entirely and constructing a world in its place that makes sense, endures ups and downs, and never gets to the bottom of everything. The solution to all problems is getting to the bottom of everything. The solution to hunger is realizing that it never existed. And the reason why fasting is so powerful a tool is because it strips away all the usual excuses and stories that you cycle through distastefully, replacing them with a seemingly palpable sense of hunger, the gateway to all things imaginable and the cure for the sickness of not knowing God. But, instead of going straight to God, I choose to abide in my hungry rationalizations. I like to chalk up my felt experience of life as "I am hungry, goddamnit," which warrants no further search and at once traps me in my own proclamation. Nothing is real! Oh, my, fucking God: What an epic realization. I am dumbfounded to a degree that is so beyond this world that it is somewhere inside of it? What is going here....? Nevermind, I'm just kidding: I'm hungry! That's all that's going on here – nothing especially mysterious or magical. It's just some dude who is hungry. Like, really, I am not kidding you. If you come closer, you can HEAR my stomach growling, asshole. Stop telling me it's not real. But, but, but.... SHUT IT! I NEED A CHEESEBURGER! Could care less about God. Give me some shrimp legs and evaporated milk, then we'll talk. Anyways, this is so damn powerful because (of my newfound fasting [food abstinence] practice) I am pushed to the very edge, the tip, the brink of perception. I can either stay hungry or say goodbye to everything I thought to know, love, and hold dear..................
