  1. @Hojo I learned to like reading. As a kid, I despised books, especially religious ones.
  2. Ahh. Now I get what you're saying.
  3. I don't really need podcasts. I learn from others, but I trust myself more. In the end, it's me who discovers what is true or false by thinking through about something. When I'm alone, especially as a kid, I can imagine a whole universe and experience every perspective as I'm creating the universe. I'm not joking; I'm really hyper-imaginative. It's way more fun. You wouldn't get bored.
  4. It happens differently for different people. I know it from my experience ?. Maybe you are special in that you can do it for a long time without being affected. No worries, I understand. You are special to me.
  5. Not just you, but everyone. It comes to a point where staying active on the forum degrades your mind. It's so subtle that you won't notice how it's happening. So, be careful.
  6. @Hojo What they mean by God is the creator of their fantasies about reality. By believing in God, they accept what they have been told instead of what exists outside of their beliefs. They can't accept that they are living in fantasies, but, interestingly, they think others do. They believe making everything overly simple is a good thing, which makes their fantasies more ugly. When it works, they pay a huge price for that and are happy about it. They can't handle the complexities of life.
  7. @Hojo because spiritual/religious people are not honest about what they do not know, but they would gladly prove otherwise. They believe they have authority over their minds, but they forget that they have sold it to their beloved religion. They can't help but delude themselves.
  8. The AI generated that image using my actual face. Love you back.
  9. This post will transform actualized.org into a face-worshipping cult. ?
  10. Some people don't have the luxury of spending time on a forum to write about their problems. You're lucky in that aspect. Before making everything a problem, make sure you're skeptical at first. Sometimes the problem is with you. I know that it's difficult, but you can see the problems without always being negative.
  11. Imo, a guru is worth following if he or she at least cares about self-awareness, doesn't mind whether he or she is seen as spiritual or not, teaches you to do spirituality alone, and is philosophically minded. I think that she has discovered some stuff, but she is not an authentic teacher and doesn't really care about the workings of her mind. Most spiritual gurus or people (online and offline) give off the vibe of spirituality. When you start to really contemplate, you see how delusional and deceptive they are. I haven't found truly deep philosophical and spiritual stuff yet other than Leo's teachings.
  12. @Vibes The great thing about movies is that you can watch their pirated versions without getting into serious trouble if you can't afford them or the streaming services don't work in your country, in which case you use a VPN.
  13. This whole Windows vs Mac vs ... fight is stupid
  14. @Javfly33 Isn't it amazing that a group of people have a created a violent movie for you in order give you an experience of it without you being in it. Also, you can make it more real by imagining that you are in it when watching. Treat movies as whole universes. Watch them in order to understand everything about them as much as you can.
  15. @The Renaissance Man How did you steel my LP. I have never shared it with anyone. ?
  16. You are the creative type, I guess.
  17. My whole body gets excited when I start to play. It's a creative orgasm we can say. ?
  18. Couldn't agree more. Do you play any musical instruments? Don't you want to learn to play music for yourself? It's way more fun. Also, it will help you develop a subtle/nuanced mind. For me, it's literally going through and experiencing different dimensions of reality.
  19. I'm so sorry for your loss
  20. @trenton noticing that you are not authentic is actually a progress. Actually masturbation can help you. Try to understand your sexual desires a little bit before getting into a relationship.
  21. @StarStruck Has it always served you the way you expected or wanted?
  22. @StarStruck I sense that you are a perfectionist. Am I right?
