Try new things, have/create new experiences. You don't know how many things you will pursue. There will be things that you need to do and others that you want to do or maybe one thing, idk. One way of solving the problem is by doing something at first even if you are not passionate about it. Be open-minded on how to live your life. Often you need to think through your problems for a week or more. E.g. I have learned beatboxing, still learning piano, played soccer and basketball and learned some skills, have been a part of a choir and had vocal lessons, learned some acting, have been to dancing classes, worked on my physique, learned some poetry and won a poetry competition, ... . And now I'm a technical writer. Life couldn't have been more interesting to me. I haven't watched the LP and haven't read motivational books. So, don't take my opinion as the only way.

@Devin Understanding understanding etymologically is one way to understand understanding. Noticed how you broke the word into 2 parts and connected them and understood it even though you didn't need to know it etymologically in the first place? Isn't it amazing? It's visible and invisible at the same time, but yet it can't be unseen. -
Understand your depression and then come up with ideas.

I wasn't only talking about religious fundamentalists.

@Carl-Richard Religion is a set of dogmas that you follow without questioning it. It has its rituals and ceremonies. Generally, It's about praying and asking for forgiveness for your sins to God. And because you can't doubt it or question it, your ideas about the world will be very biased and untruthful. It's not about direct experience and open-mindedness. Your observation of reality is worthless. There is no deconstruction happening. It affects how you relate to people and tells what kind of family is desirable. I have been religious when I was young. I worked at the church.

Guys, what you have been describing is not actual religion. Have you all lived a religious life? Being religious is like a lifestyle and it has its price. It's not about awakening even if people like to believe that.

So, your sober state is real? Stop the rant. Spend your time deconstructing your reality sober. -

Why is that? -

@Hibahere You are basically deconstructing your reality. Thought experiments can be random, it will really be helpful to deconstruct your beliefs first, because they are the real foundations that hold your reality together. Start by what you think is real. -

The woodchuck would chuck wood as much wood woodchuck could chuck. -
@withinUverse No need to apologize for not getting a joke. You are overthinking. Just relax and have fun. I was way more afraid and overly critical of myself when I joined actualized.org. I get you. You will be fine. I recommend you to watch Leo's latest video.

Relationships are not that simple. If someone cheats, that doesn't mean that he or she is a bad person. Not saying cheating should be acceptable. You should look for the reason why he or she cheated and maybe you are the problem.

@withinUverse Glad to be of help. And I was joking. By price I meant real money.

@LSD-Rumi I feel that they are secretly learning from Leo. It's funny to imagine that they could have secret meetings/zoom calls watching Leo's videos. Maybe they have an account here. Who knows. -

@LSD-Rumi Like Rupert Spira and Eckhart Tolle. Also, the blond girl. -
I think there should be a list from where we could choose what kind of post we want to create and each one should have its price.

Have you all noticed that spiritual gurus on YouTube started talking about God after Leo specifically focused on it? Or am I a blind follower of actualized.org? -
Anyone who is for religion should have gone or send their child to Christian Sunday school. You wouldn't be this chill talking about why we need it.
-
@Snader we have similar learning paths. Yeah, I need to be more consistent. I'm doing lot of things and sometimes it's hard to know how much time I need to spend on it.

Can describe your journey of learning piano? How did you learn it? Is there one right way or is it more complicated? What methods of learning have you discovered on the way? I haven't gone to any school to learn piano, but I have had vocal lessons and I know little bit of music theory. And when I stopped going to the lessons, I started learning playing piano by just mimicking some pianist hands on YouTube (where and when to put my fingers). Right now, my hands are flexible enough to play it. I intuitively understand how rythm works (When I learn to play some music, I discover the rythm very fast). Recently, I have found courses, books and apps to learn about music theory. What am I missing? What do I have to do to be professional at it. It's a hobby, but I want to have more deep understanding of it. Thanks in Advance.

Can you give the pros and cons studying with a teacher vs doing it alone? @integral I need to work on your first and second points.
-
It's not that I don't feel the songs that I play. Also, whenever I learn a song, I immediately start to change it and play it other ways. As I'm starting to learn music theory, I noticed that I have been discovering things that are already discovered before. That really inspires me to learn piano. But, thanks for the answers.

@Someone here Well, differentiate what you can learn and do without psychedelics. I also promised myself to not talk about awakenings until I start doing psychedelics. But there are lot of things you can learn from Leo even if psychedelics play huge part in his teachings. It's like, training yourself before doing the actual thing. Not saying to brainwash yourself. But I get why your leaving. Even though some things will be unresolved, you will start experiencing life. Maybe someday you wouldn't even need to come back. Maybe you will find a better way of doing spirituality, idk. Also, don't be hasty about what's best for you. Just take a break.
-
@Someone here You will be back, but next time you will look actualized from different perspective. I think that people don't know or forget that taking breaks are part of actualized teachings to reflect on yourself and take actions. Start from today. Don't even visit actualized.org for answering any questions. I took one year break. It was awesome. But I think you should change your relationship with actualized. But anyways. Wish you good luck. Start living your life!
