This axiom has the potential to change everything in my life and also in anyones life who wants growth. I rethought about my value list and feel yhat its necessary to change knowledge into learning and grow like a oak tree. Every day if I apply this principle and do the self enquiry I feel it can move mountains for me..this will be in addition to a journalling habit that I need to put into place. I have been backsliding for months and I couldn't find a way back to self actualize, I downloaded the mp3 to help me stay on track... But this video just clicked... The top ten goals for the next year starting from tomorrow can be applying this principle with journalling for the whole year. Continuity of practice is the secret to success. I learnt about myself that I have learnt so much from Actualized.org... Although I'm backsliding my behaviour has changed drastically... But its one thing to change and another thing to live to my fullest potential and live an extraordinary life.. You got to deal with fear, you got to deal with your inner demons. Transcendence needs to take place. I have a strong desire to change and live to my fullest potential.

I would like to share some thoughts on how social conditioning does not allow true growth... So how does social conditioning fuck things up? Think about the stigma assessment by society... what is considered a stigma in your society? Dying with Aids? Homosexuality? Impotency? Poverty? Now consider having it all... Would you be able to accept your self in such a situation? No self acceptance no true growth... would you be completely independent of the good or bad opinion of others? Not until you accept your self. Would you be proud to be buried? How would you feal Pride when you feel fear. Society really fucks you in the ass

@CuteCornDog i too am controlled by emotions, but its not a great idea to continue the same.... We need more of self acceptance dude... We need to stop playing victim, we need to die without regrets...

@phoenix666 recently I had a lot trauma event in my life (last Saturday).... that has taught me tons of lessons...and has handed me with a bunch of to dos .. role reversal in meditation such that my entire life is a meditation. 1 overcoming the fear of criticism 2 overcoming the fear of ill health 3 overcoming the fear of death 4 integrating myself with 5 finding a definite purpose in life, I would like to share my insights learnt that the ego just cares about its survival cause all these fears straight away are affecting the ego. good health noble healthy being all this a creation of the ego and it will do whatever it can to survive when something threatens its survival. I learnt that THE EGO BRINGS with ITSELF A LOT OF SUFFERRING. and letting go of it is the wisest thing to do.

@Elton just few days ago you were taking about dedicating your whole life to meditation , the ego doesn't want to meditate and so it brought in worry and misery doubt and fear ? who knows ... how will this information change my behavior ? I need a lot of compassionate and loving self talk self acceptance has to be the key for true growth to take place... unconditional happiness is the key to live a extra ordinary life. strategy for cultivating passionate self talk... journal my self talking to my self for 30 min a day.

I'm suffering a lot since Saturday as I did something that is not socially acceptable and even I am finding it difficult to forgive my self and accept myself. I have been experiencing a lot of fear guilt and shame and can feel these body sensations all over my body... I learnt how I am my greatest enemy and how I actively destroy my life... Fear has completed broken me apart taken away my charm and confidence made my willpower completely low caused lack of appitie and causing a lot of headache... I have to do the following things Practice self love and acceptance Accept the truth of death Forgive myself Take the right action Take 100 responsibility of my life... Cope with fear. The only words coming in my mind from the past few days are help mom God and my name.. I want to live I got the realisation that life is precious and I don't want to loose it all the people in my life are precious I don't want to loose love. Oh divine providence please save me! Please save me!

Seeked professional help and now feeling better. I learnt a lot from this experience... About my own fear... I saw the fear live... could I function without fear? Fear has made me realise how everyday and even every second of life is so beautiful. I'm gonna have to watch the benifits of enlightenment video

I'm on this journey to self actualize and its been more than 2 years now and ive haven't even been able to move to the next level I still feel i'm a nubie... However I'm going to go through a systematic approach to training my subconscious mind through hypnosis journalling affirmations and visualisation... I feel after creating a very strong self image the rest might fall into place cause I will have the mindset and resilience required to live up to that ego that I will create... Mindfulness training is my target for the next year vipassna meditation for formal practice and mindfullness for informal practice. Also bodyweight training and now I see everything as a trainning however I yet have to find my Lifepurpose and I will search it however long it may take... Need to get back to the course..

@Consept I totally agree with you that action is the one thing required to get massive results. Finding your life purpose is crucial to take action after you find it... I'm struggling to do that.. Have to finish the life purpose course entirely to find it and there is a main part in the course its called making it real... Only i have to find out my purpose first

@Consept subconscious training is essential. All results you get are a result of your subconscious... Thoughts cause behaviors if you want to change a behavior all you need to do is change your thoughts and then your behaviour changes automatically... Hehee thats just a sterile gown not a chef gown to enter into pharma production company. It could be positive procrastination if this subconscious training is not done on a regular basis.. Mindfulness is one of the key skills anyone could develop for huge transitions and growth.

I'm listening to the science of enlightenment on audible how can that change my behaviour???? By dedicating my whole life to meditation... Yes Leo had mentioned too the most important self help technique you can have... However I've been struggling on constancy but enough of the excuse of gradual self improvement, Enough of feminine compassion now its time for brute force cause some times that approach works best.

@PetarKa all though I'm open about it I feel that not telling people about it is better. Its better to just do it rather than discussing it and the most of the people have no clue about this. Its difficult to shoe them this other bubble we live in...

Have any of you tried this? I'm reading this book by gay hendrix and in chapter 3 there is an exercise, so in practice I have to do the following I am committed to smoking and ruining my health... However I did this and trying to accept this fact but I just can't, I have been listing to the self acceptance visualisation for days but when I'm smoking its so difficult to accept this side... I cannot generate the feeling of love inorder to apply it all over my mind and body.... How to overcome resistance to accept this that I'm committed to ruin my health? @Leo Gura can you give me some advice on this? Self Acceptance is more difficult than brut forcing myself to stop... Only if i can make this work it will be awesome...

@Leo Gura thank you so much for the start here coloumn... Just clucked on one core concept and saw the organisation of material oh my God! This is a greatest resource I've seen like the encyclopedia of self actualization. Using the life purpose course I've studied the therory and not even completed the course (uptil exterce 3) but I feel my life purpose is self actulization. This is the blue print! Thanks a lot.

Management of self talk Take a deep breath and do it for a couple of times... Good... Look at your phone and remember that it is a medium for self texting.. What do you really want out of life? To feel good... See now this is the problem right there... You assign labels to feeling instead of just feeling it and its physical manifestations objectively... But these physical manifestations are temporary and keep changing so clinging to a feeling will obviously cause dissatisfaction as it will change.. But Dissatisfaction itself is a feeling and the seeds of dissatisfaction cause trees of dissatisfaction... So that means that if I can treat every emotion just as it is I can experience less dissatisfaction? What if the existential void of dissatisfaction is actually just a label can I just cange this label to bliss and love this feeling? Lets start with mindfulness on a serious level. A commitment from the heart.

Here I will like to document how I'm using mindfulness to self actualize Last week I saw a self discipline vedio in which I learnt that distracting oneself with other sites when tempted helps from avoiding craving. I noticed that the temptation was from within. So when I would 'see' or 'feel' (internal) something related to smoking I would turn my attention outside my skull and see whats reality and come out of my mind... This would help me distract myself. The temptation was also be outside many times and not in my mind but the ones inside require more mindfulness.... After dinner and desert I would 'feel' intensive craving and then I would ask myself why do I want to smoke? If I wouldn't get a logical reply I would not smoke. However after 5 days my mind rationalised itself to smoke as I saw in a self discipline vedio that I could have cheat days for easing out the process... Thus mindfulness played a very important role when combined with self discipline techniques and self enquiry.. How to be ruthlessly effective in mindfulness? Do Vipassana meditation Practice mindfulness meditation outside meditation Do it every single day.

Hey Leo, this is something I've identified in my self actulization journey... For the past 6 months I have been under a brutal homeostasis spell however last week through journalling and praticing mindfulness outside the meditation practice I've had improvement and insights... However in the last six months I haven't really been able to tap into and practice what you have been advocating... I haven't seen the last 3 vedios of actulized.org too... I certainly am drifting, I want to stay on track Leo can you give me some tips on what I can do?
