  1. Tomorrow? Complete awakening does not leave any fantasies about something like tomorrow, its complete direct experience of this right here. And you know everything about it. There is no question mark. If someone asks you what the birthday of your neighbor is, you cannot give an answer, because the universe has to create the birthday, when you ask the neighbor. However, omniscience means, that you completely know why this questions got asked, and how you imagine the one asking. So yes, even detailed omniscience is possible. Your scientific, egoic projection lets it seem contradictory.
  2. @Raze Try out both. See what offers more benefits. It seems that there is this rule to the structure of reality, that everything great occurs when you feel selfless in working for it. And since nobody knows what selflessness feels like for you, nobody but you can figure that out. I know guys, who watch porn daily and still remain confident and energetic. They have their weak points somewhere else. This is a DIY projects. Personally porn consumption is a massive energy killer for me.
  3. @LostStudent The terms is used differently at different places. Most stick with the hardest form. No Fap = No masturbation, No porn, No orgasm. However, the real benefit comes from the deprivation of easily accessed dopamine. Thats what it is all about. So if masturbation gives you pleasure, cut it out. If watching porn does, cut it out. If sexual thoughts do, cut them out. If I forgot something sexual that gives you easy pleasure, cut it out. This mechanism forces your mind-matter construct to search for new ways of getting gratification, which usually results in more motivation, creativity and liveliness. Note that there are many more techniques to enter this "higher energy", like: Water fasting, meditation retreats, social media detox, abstaining from eating greasy, salty or sweet food, ect. The structure remains the same. No easy dopamine = More motivation to attain profound, deeper gratification
  4. In every case you have the advantage of more experience in your body. Every experiment adds to this self-consciousness. So I really recommend trying it for 30 days.
  5. Hopefully the second integrity episode
  6. After many unsuccessful attempts of registration I finally was allowed to do my first 10 days of strict Vipassana meditation in Austria on behalf on S. N. Goenka. The course was laid out straight forward and really out of comfort. No media, nothing to write, no communication with others, waking up at 4 am, simple food twice a day and no contact to the "outside world". Basically perfect conditions for deep meditative work. The meditation techniques were just Anapana (observing breath) and Vipassana (observing sensations in the whole body). Anapana for sharpening the mind and Vipassana to develop direct wisdom on the nature of mind and body. I could go into that intellectually, but this will probably just bore you. In the following I want to give a personal overview how the course felt for me; what benefits it brought and what not to expect if I attend it again: So already during the first days I could clearly see how my emotions and thought patterns behave without distractions from outside. From joyful creativity to blank depressive episode multiple facets of the mind revealed themself over the course of the day. This made it crystal clear to me, how subjective experience is over changing and fascinating if you just give it enough consciousness. Then, on day 3-6 I really got intense day dreaming experiences, where my mind would play high resolution dreamed up realities. These scenarios could not be distinguished from "waking reality". Beautiful pictures and fascinating stories, but all imagined within seconds of closed eyes. This stopped after 6 days or so. Then there was this phase of kneading through childhood memories and old forgotten mental activities. Tedious, but revealing. Also intense physical sensation, like warm flowing energy movements and "pleasure explosions" inside the gut came to life occasionally. But craving for them made the mediation worse, so there "worth" was relative. However, my biggest achievement was to see the true mechanism of craving (and vice versa aversion). And that is, that you never crave the object of desire itself, but you actually you crave the craving. So for example if you are a guy and thinking about a super attractive woman there is craving happening in form of a bodily sensation. (For me its somewhere in the stomach area, as well as the upper neck.) And the more this idea of "you winning the woman" gets reality (in your mind or in reality), the more your craving will increase. Ultimately this craving must stop, because the woman left or you had sex with her. In either case, you want you still want to crave. So a new woman has to be found or a new car, new haircut, new carrier achievement and so on. The bottom line is, you think you want a specific object, but you actually want the wanting itself. Try to see this truth in your body right now. It's fascinating how simple it sounds, but no one really cared to explain. On the other hand this kind of meditation practice won't give you non-dual experiences or no-mind as effectively as psychedelics or holotropic breathwork do. So don't go with any related expectations into the course. Overall a great opportunity to learn about oneness in a clean non-dogmatic environment. Big recommendation.
  7. Except the non-dual nature of reality does not give you any other perspective than your own. Why would you need other perspectives if you can just geniusly imagine them. There is nothing stopping infinite consciousness from doing exactly that.
  8. @Nivsch Desire is something the ego does. You really need a reference experience, what No-mind (no ego) is. Realizing absolute truth is only possible in levels of consciousness, which make thought constructed ego patterns completely unable to persist. In fact, you will find out that this moment right here is your highest desire. But again, believing that thought will answer metaphysical questions, will result in logical loops and paradox. More consciousness is all we need.
  9. @Nivsch The solipsism discussion has been thoroughly milked in this forum many times. I don't want to go into this mud bath with you. Everything I say here will sound contradictory to your apparent sense of reality. If you want real answers, find ways to increase your consciousness. Be careful though. Test yourself how bad you want to know the truth. And vice versa, how bad you like your sense of reality now. If other stuff is currently more important to you, do that first. Here what worked for me: Psychedelics, breath work, meditation, contemplation. Here what has not worked for me: Forum threads, mental masturbation, wise quotes and spiritual acting.
  10. Firstly, the notion of "liking" doesn't match with total oneness realization. Its the biggest orgasmic mindfuck your consciousness can ever have. It's complete freedom and overflowing love. There is no liking or not liking. It's complete acceptance and appreciation of reality. You might think, that I'm exaggerating here. But regardless of how I word it, every picture in your mind right now is mice shit compared to the direct experience. Nothing compares. That's why I won't try to compare it. Secondly, yes I wanted it. But this wanting did not help me to realize anything. The big leap happened when I totally became conscious of my field of experience. My hands, my room, colors shapes, sounds ect. So conscious, that wanting and desiring could not exist. Because wanting needs thought, which cannot arise when you are deeply conscious of direct experience. Wanting can only happen, if you think. Thinking is not happening when you are conscious. Try it out now, be totally conscious of the shape of your arm. After that, notice that there was not thinking necessary for this observation. Being conscious of what is, is the ultimate advice for awakening.
  11. @Nivsch Both. In fact, this realization can come at any given time, if you leave behind all "knowing of what this right on front of you is". It happened to me while walking down a park or doing sports at the gym. However psychedelics really crank up the possibility to have this realization. By the way, if you don't like be try psychedelics I can really recommend "holotropic breath work" as teached by Leo. This practice revealed to me the same intensity of oneness as heroic doses of LSD would. Not as long though. But still 40 minutes of breathing gave me more spiritual insight and growth than 2 years of daily meditation.
  12. Where exactly is the line between "ideas about other people" and "raw existance" of them? The first is more flimsy and changing, while the latter is solid and "seems" not controllable. However, as you might notice, both qualities of experience are both just experience. So in reality there is absolutely no fundamental difference between "idea mind" and "matter mind" - its both mind. Just different qualities. So if you can create ideas, you can create raw existence. The ego mind cannot see this, because it's not conscious enough how it creates raw existence. But what if you could directly see how you create physical "thingness" right in front of you (?).
  13. Please recognize, that even Joe Biden is not powerful enough to "negotiate" about the sovereignty of other countries. How would you feel if the USA decides for your country what to do and what not.
  14. @HusseinisdoingfinePlease recognize, that even Joe Biden is not powerful enough to "negotiate" about the sovereignty of other countries. How would you feel if the USA decides for your country what to do and what not.
  15. In two days I will attempt the classical 10-day Vipassana retreat teached by Goenka. It seems to be one of the most hardcore meditation retreats offered publicly. I'm sure some advanced meditators here have already done it. Any specific non-obvious advice?
  16. @Consilience Man, thank you for this overview. I deeply sense a strong authenticity in what you say. I'm already curios what my corruptive monkey mind will say when the practice gets serious. Lets get in the cold shower
  17. Life IS Love. It's not just some purpose relation. The one doesn't follow the other. They are completely identical. No finite ego mind can "5d chess" it's way to understand this.
  18. When you truly experience absolute Non-Duality, everything said above will make unambiguously sense. Elaborate thinking is not needed for understanding the highest truth.
  19. We'll see. I think Leo cares about his viewers, seeing and grasping political structures. If the Ukraine situation won't deescalate soon, he will talk about it.
  20. Im not here to assure, that my morals are correct. As if morals as something objective to be found out there. For example: I want to know how Leo's take "that every humans behavior is sourced to maximize love" fits in this whole scenario. How is Putins behavior explained within "maximum love" and "spiral dynamics"?
  21. @hello1234 I don't want Leo to be a news journalist. Thats not what he is valued for. Rather I'm interested how he explains the decisions of Putin in the bigger picture. Maybe this whole situation is a massive ego backlash from Russia in some sense. For example, in one post he made the example how the US would behave, if Russia would arrange an alliance with Mexico. With the possibility to have atomic weapons right at the US border. Do you think Biden would be any less cruel than Putin? The point is, i'm not interested in the content as who is false and who is right. I'm interested in the structure of how such political crises develop.
  22. It's like one of those brilliant adventure game, where you can interact and talk to others, and get interesting dialogues through that. You are a lucky boy to be part of this adventure game here, with infinite others and interactions to experience. Every computer game is pure solipsism, but you never complain about existential fear. Feel the fear. Without it, this game would be far too easy.
  23. Why do you think that? If God went all those lengths to imagine others "physically", you can be damn sure he imagines a vivid "inner" life to them as well. Try it out. Go to some "empty suit" and ask him/her, how life is going. What the struggles and successes are. You will be surprised how full this dream is for you.
  24. So as I've figured out my life purpose about combining physical development with mental development via strength training and mindfulness, I wondered if some of you guys already know such a place. Here in Germany there are literally zero places where you can have both. Strength training with weights and racks, while simultaneously offering Yoga classes and space for meditation periods. So this is an open request specifically targeted to any of you, who live in the US. It's an open secret that most new concepts get developed and tested out in the USA, before they spread around the globe. Please let me know if you have encountered such a holistic approach to fitness and mindfulness.
  25. Yes im currently working on building a place like that. Would be awesome to see such a place in action somewhere. In my worldview the logical step of a classical stage orange "gym bro" is to move on to a more holistic "mind body connection conscious" athlete. This happens naturally if "gym bros" get hurt and therefor feel their body the first time under pain. This kicks starts this mind body connection for most. And yes its true that most yoga classes are filled with mid 40 women and most gyms are filled with mid 20-30 guys. However, I see the possibility that both groups will recognize the potential of the other developmental activity if consciousness rises collectively.
