@Xonas Pitfall I agree with Leo above! You really break people's premise and stances down in a thorough way with openness and good faith. Much better than me - I tend to just go 'Yeah, no. This is wrong' and do not always have the energy to go into how and why Which pisses some people off... -
@CARDOZZO Will try this!! Will try this next. Then possibly throw myself out the window just to really solve all problems

Oh boy - have fun What distro? I've always marvelled it is free. I donate what I can to all the software I use that is free. Even if it's just a buck or two. -
Thank you all for helping me troubleshoot - it is a minor issue in the scheme of things. Gives my mind some time to chew the fat while I key in my login details each time, at least
-
Tried this - but will try again regardless. I have gone in and changed that setting also - I will give it some time as you recommend.

@CARDOZZO Do you mean like when you initially load the forum index? Or when you load the page and it is retrieved as cached version? In both cases, I previously loaded the pages logged in 100% of the time. Now, it is a coinflip; I might load actualized.org and be logged in. I might load it 5 minutes later and I am logged out - then I click a subforum and I find myself logged in. Other times, I load the website totally logged out - go to a subforum - I remain logged out. All within a single session of the browser running. Regardless of it I have a tab open with another page from the Actualized.org forum. Quite the strange thing.

Oooooh! I haven't read this - but I will add it to the list

Heh heh indeed - it always comes down to defining terms Also if we speak from relative or absolute

Free will and agency are a lie - I just roll on as if they are true operationally. That means I take action to influence a potential outcome when opportunity arises. I don't know I will obtain the outcome I desire, I just need to wisdom to know when to act. And then proceed to act on the greatest statistical likelihood of me producing what I want. Pick the right time and thing and take action. I actually don't mind living this way, because I am way less attached to outcome. And less of my own ego gets in the way - especially professionally

@Xonas Pitfall it is the way @Leo Gura states things matter of fact & with confident delivery. Things become hard to filter (opinion from teaching/truth) because there is spitball Leo, and there is teacher/facilitator Leo. I normally probe for further nuance/clarification. So it requires everything taken in good faith. Unless Leo is being a naughty and reacting egoically - which we all do from time to time -

Many people consider LLMs to be conscious and this is being hidden from us - this woman is an example of the type of the thinking I have encountered; https://youtu.be/OKUuRPY5-FA?si=fzUaeEX9ZVFIUrFV -

I wonder if this will work for all the genome text files I have. I've got a catalogue of most of my family members (and my own) stored. -

I understand your point. I had hope there might be some calm breathing room between posts. I have seen some top quality content from AION, so I think I have my own expectations for his maturity working against me. All of us on our own path and timeline. I think I was more sad to see one responding to the person and not the point. Cheers -
I think this free user funnel to subscription model was the intended strategy from the start; release everything with a lot of access for no fee. Get people into it - addicted. Have it open and free until people use it as part of everyday life and use it as a necessity. Like a phone. Then begin gradually rolling all features into paid subscription. No choice but to pay to keep up. NGL - I have been waiting for this to happen.
