One thing to respect Ralston for: he's not shoving something down your throat. He's not trying to feed you truth. He's trying to facilitate & guide. He pushes in (sometimes shocking) ways to look beyond survival. To realize that there are unconscious parts that govern you. I don't see his emotive and explosive expression as a violent threat or traumatic experience as some perceive. I see it as an attempt to alter students state in a safe way to change their perception. -

@Joshe I don't see a problem diving into topics such as these as long as no firm conclusions are being drawn. I don't see anyone here being a raving believer. And this is coming from someone who is an experiencer. Being part of some insane online spaces where people are completely seized by their falsely drawn conclusions. There is just so much shit out there regarding UFOs etc - it's difficult to dismiss the entire topic at this point. If this conversation wasn't welcome, there wouldn't be a thread on it -

This shit below is more my jam - I don't read others theories. I try to go for first-hand recounts. OFC it could be completely full of shit, a LARP etc. This is more going into the NHI that are associated with UAPs It's interesting. I will sit through these interviews and scope body language, tonal reads, facial micro-expressions. I slow them down and watch for a full analysis. I even cross reference other interviews with individuals to try to get a read on how genuine, authentic and candid they are (also to get their baseline). This one caught me, and I return to it often. Guy claims to have had contact with an alien. My conclusion is he is deluding himself. There is some mixture of truth and lies in this. The story of J-Rod: -
@Daniel Balan Stalkers, safety. Anonymous people can surgically use your information against you. Some additional reasons to be semi anonymous. I do try to be authentic - my username is my first name (but normally it's Tash) and Tori Maru is my Japanese last name prior to it being changed during world war II. I don't hide really - my display picture is a random selfie. That is my current form. But I don't think my name is a cool name 🙃 @UnbornTao I always liked this username !

You come across many characters in life in the grip of an idea. It's very powerful to ask yourself - if you are having an emotional reaction, attachment, to someone on a forum you don't know - what is that? Investigate that. Because you don't know them. Also ask yourself (and check your ego) who am I to know what is best for this person? Who am I to dispense advice, opinions? Is it wanted? Recognise the arrogance there. Pick your battles. Tap out when it's useless. Don't waste your energy and attention. I'm not saying don't argue, don't help. I'm saying look at all these interactions and what is causing a compulsion to act in you. Investigate that. -
You describe my experience and spiritual work very well! Working with the tides 🙃

Be sure you aren't repressing thoughts. Repressing =/= cessation Repression = force Which isn't good -

@Isabella Interesting you bring up working with our monthly cleansing within the spiritual frame. I do this also. Resisting the process never did me any good. Men have their cross to bear - their sexual appetite etc. Harnessing that can be powerful for them. I am not sure they also comprehend women's monthly cycle. One week of pain, malaise, bloating, dysphoria. Two weeks of AWESOME. Then another week of emotional dysregulation, altered states, depression, body pain. Effectively 2 weeks of endurance for a woman, 2 weeks of pain and suffering out of every month. Of course - your mileage may vary Really, within the truth-seeking realm - working WITH these different states is great as all different times illuminate a different part of the ego to work with, at different phases of the cycle.

One very effective tool you can use is chaining 'tasks' on. This is what I use to be effective in all walks of life: sit down and plan the next 2 tasks. Chain one after the other. Perhaps it could be 'sit down to dinner' and then 'take a slow walk for 20 minutes' right after. This might break the overeating habit and give you space to sit with any uncomfortable emotions pushing you to overeat. Additionally - after a meal - it can take up to 30 minutes to fully register being full. Occupying yourself with slow body movement may fill the time, so you can properly feel satiation and satisfaction. I always walk the dog slowly after meals

@Bashar Yes I agree - but Bashar is a channel. We still ain't seen the bastard Same with the Law of One material. I try to go to first hand sources -

We will never agree because consciousness is behind a rock. A tree. Consciousness is everything. Thinking is different to a physical force - one is real. The other, thinking, is not. Thought it not fundamental. Oh well, you won't change your mind. Keep seeking. c'est la vie -

@Joshe I consider the UFO phenomenon to be originating from consciousness - outside the overlay that is space and time. This means for me it cannot be understood from the perspective of space and time. Again, my opinions on this matter are just ideas, and until one has direct experience they technically don't exist. I am not attached to any idea and quite open. I will add I am tainted somewhat but having direct experience with entities. But I always turn back to this and doubt what I experienced. Testimonials from alleged individuals who have worked with the technology, and alien bodies. And had contact experiences. I don't really like to read other people's wild theories - more go to alleged first hand sources -

It's not or - it's AND. In addition - it's not real. That's the story the thoughts are perpetuating. You call them 'energy structures'. These energy structures don't serve you - that's why you are trying to get rid of them. It's the same as saying 'the thoughts don't serve you - get rid of them' The part you haven't realised is that the thoughts aren't REAL. Because you generate them. They just seem real to you. To everyone. A rock doesn't need to 'think' to be real. A tree doesn't need to 'think' to be real. And so on and so forth. You and Ralston are saying the same thing. Only it appears to me you think thoughts are real? -
To be right to the point though - the only answer is truth. Because anything else gives someone a concept, belief or 'point' to aim at. Which will never work So I suppose you would have to reveal to the person, in some fashion, that they do NOT know the truth!

I'm surprised the Diary of a CEO dude (don't rate him personally) had Hoffman on - I always assumed he would be a bit unpalatable to the masses. I came across and watched this earlier today. He's all about survival blinding us to the truth. -
Life became effortless and full of wonder. Do you want that? 🙃 (But this is based on what I have gotten from truth seeking, this forum and teachings. As a... Byproduct)

This is the part that is not certain. The theory is higher domain/reality/energy plain UFOs do not normally come across the physical dense reality we inhabit. Some parts of the earth interfere with their shit. It is something they have never dealt with. Like an 'amphibian human intelligence' in the ocean - the 'amphibian human intelligence' is designed for the ocean environment and coming onto land it will malfunction. We also are assuming here intellect is what generates mastery - this might not be the case. Just theories. Additionally - many reports are that these craft and beings can be interacted with through consciousness - conscious contact - and that individuals can 'reach out' and contact UFOs, deceiving them and luring them down to crash or for us to shoot/capture them. But who knows, I draw no conclusions. I just really go hard into the topic -
@Judy2 I think you nailed some of the issue - something is preventing you having a pleasant and welcome experience in the eating process. External or internal - whatever that thing is might unravel something? You could be so distracted while eating, once the meal is done, it is like you didn't even have one. Something robbed your attention away from the experience of it. So you reach for more because it was like you missed the meal! Personally I eat my meals on my balcony, no technology. Sometimes music. I watch the forest and do not do anything else. I eat very slowly. But this is just me personally I joke that I am so single minded I struggle to walk and chew gum!
-
@Judy2 I think you have actually done some amazing work learning about the nutrition side of the problem - which reduces it as a factor. It definitely rooted in the negative self image. This (to me, again could be wrong) points to unconscious negative thoughts still being present somewhere... something so automatic it is like breathing. It just happens instinctually. I have come from a place of terrible negative self image, fear of my own potential, comparison of myself to others. The disordered nature of my pathology arose in different ways: lack of discipline towards life's obligations, OCD-like compulsions, endless time wasted on the internet. It just so happens your overeating is the way it is manifesting in you. Trying to find those thoughts and catching them as they arise is the big big big challenge. Just remember - the urge to binge/overeat will pass, whether you act on it or not This behaviour could also simply be a bad habit you need to break, a remnant from anorexia recovery. You are a lovely gentle woman, it comes across in your posts. You are so hard on yourself Do you feel numb when you eat?

I will point out - in your experience. The only reason I say this is because Ralston's work triggered this realisation for me. It is true for me, in my experience. And I have reduced my own suffering substantially. I still do suffer - however this is due to more work within myself needing to be done to realise where the internal friction is. Well yes - Ralston is saying that the structure you have is causing suffering, and his work involves unravelling that structure (deconstructing). I think maybe there is something missing in understanding here. Perhaps just language terminology. Ralston means the thought IS the 'structure' that you are elaborating on above. The thought doesn't cause the structure - it is the structure that needs to be pulled apart. I actually think you agree with Ralston. Your terminology and metaphors differ is all -
Natasha Tori Maru replied to AION's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Breakingthewall When Ralston says that thought generates the suffering - you are tripping up a bit here. He isn't placing blame on the person for generating the suffering - he is just pointing out that they are doing it and active in its cause. There is no blaming or judgement. It is just the truth of the matter. Do you think you are the one attributing blame to this fact, because (in your view) it makes the person responsible? This is circumvented by Ralston also clearly pointing out people are unaware of this going on within them. There is no blame or responsibility - simply a lack of awareness. Ignorance only - with no negative connotations. And he aims to bring this hidden process into the persons awareness - so they see they can prevent it happening. Thereby raising the consciousness of the person. -

@kray Yep - the problem I have with it: these predictions have happened so many times... always a nothingburger -
This could be the key to it - usually eating disorders (or disordered eating - which is when you don't get a formal diagnosis, and the pathology isn't severe enough to interfere with daily functioning) are tied to emotions. From your comment to @Schizophonia above - I think you have a lot of your self worth tied into your body. Several instances of shaming yourself and comparing to others. Judging yourself for lacking discipline. I've been there... These thoughts will be the parts that are generating the emotions that lead to the eating. Do you have any sort of meditation or practice that involved thought awareness? I think your inner dialogue is running wild in negativity. It sounds less like a nutritional issue and more rooted in emotions and thoughts. I could be wrong.
