Your realization that Jesus has shown you the way - I take it to mean this is your truth now? I could be misinterpreting/misunderstanding ! -

@Flowerfaeiry Just out of pure benign curiosity - if it turned out Jesus was fake and all made up - would you still remain within your current understandings of truth? -

I do think it requires genuine openness, an unsatiable curiosity & discernment/critical analysis. Not a common combination Most people are terrified to have their identity pulled apart - it provokes the fear of death. And I suppose it is a death isn't it? Its the death of their understanding of reality and themselves. The death of how they existed up to that point. -

My post wasn't to express any knowledge held by me, more to encourage contemplation. -

@Joshe Agree I just know that no one actually knows what they are doing. And most are so self conscious and worried / attempting to control how they are perceived. Busy spending A LOT of energy crafting avatars. The energy devoted to controlling how they are perceived is a monumental waste of mind & body. Knowing this frees me to express myself and do whatever I like really. Even when it flies in the face of what is 'customary' to society. I bank on no one really paying attention @Davino Thanks for the share !

@Jannes I'll keep having a crack at it and report back I am a horribly curious person so I dip into esoteric stuff like this a lot. Interested to see how you go ! -

I used a website with targets! When I have had success I have actually rendered the event/activity/thing somewhat well - but I more often than not fail to interpret it. So my thinking mind is using object associations and labels incorrectly An example of a fail - the target was 2 people on a hang glider - I thought it was a 2 ball pendulum. What I thought were the balls attached at the bottom were the 2 heads of the people in the glider triangle - and what I thought was the anchor for the pendulum to swing was their bodies/lines attached. It was a shitty stick drawing - the image was pretty on par for a basic render. I just couldn't interpret the image.. The only colour noted was blue for the sky - but I thought that was a metallic blue for a ball pendulum. The thinking mind is the enemy -
Agree. I went through some severe trauma - no need to go into it - but in the realm of systematic (years) long psychological abuse and physical abuse. I ended up with a TBI. All my siblings went through similar (although I ended up with the worst physical issues). I now work as a construction manager and co-manage the business with my Dad. My sister works an accounts job, has severe anxiety, depression, addiction issues and eating disorders. She can not function without outside assistance. My brother has struggled with weed and other substances his entire life as a result. He cannot commit to anything and has job hopped living in squalor for years. Been evicted and kicked out etc. My youngest brother is head carpenter and set to take over the business (with me) when my Dad retires. He owns his own apartment and is with a woman who has a child to another man. But he takes the little one on as his own. We endured under similar circumstances. I think personality/genetic variants must come into it. I am the oldest.

If you have some issues with moderation please raise it with Leo

@meta_male Speaking for myself, as moderating is an individual thing - I didn't perceive the ending of the story as concluding as being sexual. It may have started that way, but by the conclusion of the narrative I read it as a genuine shared experience of fun and connection. As a new experience to people this can be profound. It also appeared to me that @Husseinisdoingfine found more value in the shared experience without sex being involved. The images I glanced over did not seem objectifying or sexual at all. Just my perception. Due to perception bias we have many moderators who are active for this reason. So, I think your example is more extreme and would be clear cut to moderate. There also would have been reports from other users. Easier to take decisive action in your example. Any of the other moderators are free to express their view and how they would have dealt with it. Hussein was very quick to realize and sensor without any action taken by the mods. So I think perhaps it was a good learning experience.

Perhaps they wish to feel like special snowflakes? There is a bit of 'I am above, I know more' at play, I have noticed. Many self self selfs playing word games on forums. In real life? Gutless I have had little success. I would say - 5% hits. I have no idea how it happens, I wish I did. I don't think I have a talent for it. I have only been able to do it successfully on holiday (very disconnected from work, usually when I have had some great clear meditation sessions) and when I was particularly unperturbed emotionally or obligation wise. I draw what I perceive, it ends up as a gestalt. I also note the smells and textures that might come to me. I suppose it helps I have been an artist my whole life, so rendering things is easy. But I fail to interpret what I render. If you are thinking at all in the process - it won't work. That is the only constant theme I can pull out. Don't try to interpret anything. Erase all the stuff in your mind. Empty it all out. Hope this helps! -

Awareness is typically framed by humans as subject - object. The awareness is the subject - the object being the 'thing' EG thought, concept, feeling, sensation. YOU are aware of thoughts. YOU are aware of smells, sounds. Subject + object. What is the subject (awareness) without the object? IE when something is not present to be perceived? This is deep sleep. So, in deep sleep - the subject (awareness) has no object to relate to. No experience is being generated. Nothing is being perceived. No sensations. No feelings. No thoughts. There is just pure awareness present. And only pure awareness. So this is why deep sleep is said to be pure awareness. Something like that -
Theft of joy by comparison These moments can be milestones for another's experience, who are we to distract from this?

Then we do not share the same raw sensing, if you prefer I don't think I understand the point, of course there is no one. Emptiness sensing. All one. I must be either misinterpreting or I am assuming some knowledge in error -

@Eskilon but if a woosh moment for me context wise? π€£ I think I see this statement : And think... Hmmmm. I question. But good to consider -
Natasha Tori Maru replied to Razard86's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Eskilon There might be more to not knowing that is not apparent. It is worth going further into it. It might not be what it seems ... -

One could argue seeing or experiencing the same thing is an assumption. We do not actually experience the same thing when, for example, you and I sit and watch a lamp. Each sees different light, different angles. We just share the 'thinking' minds label and context as a descriptor for experience, as a mutual agreement. It's all conceptual. All arising from the social doman. You could argue we never see or experience the same thing. We agree for the sake of simplicity and cohesion. Is experience still shared, in this case? Isn't this the paradox? Indras net. One and seperate as a hologram? Just random ideas π -
