Okay good, brb while I rip those innards out

You speak to me as if I am part of this collective - which is true - but on an individual level, I do not, I cannot, judge. You are just in process, like we all are. Your challenge is that your soft underbelly is out there like a delicious, tasty morsel for the masses to go at. Most of us can be in process behind the scenes. You risk having to build up defense walls so high no one can breach them, and this is not so good for anyone. I will note, that there is always a crafted and rehearsed element to any online interaction. Courage is grace under pressure.

I noticed the flow of emotions let out in this video. A gentle ripple on the water's surface belies a great current below. You did also check yourself when you said 'I am in control of my emotions', then *side eye* self check-in. I do suppose letting this conduit flow is a new tool you are engaging in, and less familiar. But lets be frank - no one - is in control of our emotions They are valid

Intriguing: Are you currently undertaking some form of energy work/process? Something it removing layers of fear 'There’s a presence here that’s not human.' I can't elaborate on that due to forum bans, but between our individuated consciousness and the absolute - there is another collective presence that has eroded boundaries between each 'other'. You may be feeling this That precise, that exact, YouTube link, is one I run to, just this morning! I prefer to run to shamanic drums or Om cycles What a lovely communion - you are in touch with something powerful I will place you within my thoughts in my afternoon meditation. To what affect? Who knows - but it can only be GOOD <3 -
Adding on some more info, it slipped my mind! 164cm, 48kg AND psychedelic use lowers HRV by around 50ms. I think they really tax the nervous system.

Sounds like a gut microbiome imbalance? Also, age matters. A lot

This has been my experience also! Always confusion around love being synonymous with harmony/positivity as a frequent commonality. Raising an issue was perceived as unloving, if it was a candid truth that got someone's heckles up. And I am not provocative with any malice. Maybe provocative when I know what the person needs to grow 😈 Love comes in all forms, discipline, a hard earnest conversation, wiping someone's arse or vomit when sick. A parent laying hard structure so the child learns skills to operate when they leave the nest. Any forms of action that weren't overtly positive? Hateful. Despite the intent and source.

Yep, just basic shadow work - nothing unique there

I think @UnbornTao's approach to probing and questioning is great as they are directing attention in new ways (just as a side point). But do you grasp the fundamental elements that constitute experience? Typically, if one fully understands, they are able to explain succinctly. This is fundamental to logic and thinking (if one has mastered the understanding), can you also explain how this is old thinking for yourself? Why would it be old thinking if all understanding is built on it? Do you instead mean an old topic? Experience is such a fundamental part of the ultimate intention of existence. I adore this question and all the varied answers! -
I've been tracking my HRV and various stats with a Garmin watch. I run regularly and do threshold training. For reference as it is relevent (HRV is effected by menstruation) genetically born female, 38 years old. What I have discovered effects my HRV: Resting heart rate - The fitter you are the lower this is. Simply, your heart is more efficient. Hydration - this will increase HRV as obviously dehydrated states force your work to work harder due to lower blood volume. Sleep - minimum for me is 8hrs, and I treat sleep like going to work. Food timing - eating right before bed usually ups my heart rate through the night, lowering HRV. Training - Hardcore training, or overtraining, will show in lowered HRV. When I go for zone 5 training, VO2 max stuff or threshold, it tanks a bit. Breathing/breathwork - breath control always lowers heartrate, assisting with HRV. Alcohol/drugs - SAY GOODBYE TO HRV >.< average 50ms lower Menstruation - resting heart rate gains 10bpm, HRV tanks by 20ms average. Processed foods (preservatives, junk food, emulsifiers, sugar etc) will tank HRV average 30ms. I eat vegetables and meat with dairy, seeds and nuts. ZZZZ for most. If you think about HRV and what it is actually is a measure of - how quickly your heart responds to stress, ie how quickly it can lower back to baseline or rise to perform for exercise, the above all make sense. For some reference stats: Av HRV - 96ms, 130ms peak while sleeping, Sleep 8hrs (2hrs deep, 2 hrs REM), Resting heart rate - 47bpm, 350 zone minutes a week, average 25,000 steps a day, no alcohol, no drugs, no processed food. Supplements: liquid iron, vitamin D 5000iu, K2 & magnesium. + 6 Fish oil tablets a day. 2hours per day in nature, Australian bushland. Some resistance training with Yoga. I meditate 30 minutes twice per day, 3 hours on the weekends. Been doing this for 8 years, took a lot of trial and error. I feel absolutely fantastic. No aches, pains. When I started to track health metrics it was eye opening. It has been a great tool! I don't know about HRV devices and their effects, but you can tackle this and increase HRV with the simple tools around you and good habits

I personally dislike this quote. It causes one to waste too much effort trying to understand what is being said, instead of contemplating the truth in it. It confuses the mind. Occasionally Leo frames thing from the wrong base. If the underlying concept was expressed with more clarity, I feel it should have been phrased: Do intentions, or outcome, carry more weight? Which has more value? Intent vs outcome. This, naturally, will take you down the good vs evil debate as you contemplate. In my opinion, both are important. Where you place your personal value in this contemplation can reveal your evil.... or good Dune, the novel, is a great example of this. 'The Golden Path' executed by Leto Atraides is a brutal subdugation of mankind to spur growth and expansion. Paul Atraides knows and sees this path, but he sees the evil in the execution and struggles with it, despite the good The Golden Path can do for humanity.

Really good point regarding our organism wired to negativity I often think of my mind like an error detecting machine - constantly looking for the errors and attempting to make sure they don't happen again. This naturally makes one automatically lean in to the 'error' which is typically negative. Our survival depends on correcting the error. Imagine walking down a dark lane, and you trip on a pothole. When you encounter the dark lane again, your brain is going to go haywire alerting you of an error. If you can't see that pothole, as you enter and walk through the lane your anxiety is going to skyrocket. You know there is pain here, but you have to go on. The mind panics at the unknown error it cannot correct. Perhaps this analogy describes the suffering we labour under, and how we naturally want to lean in, understand the danger and error, so we can safely move through the laneway. -

2 thoughts: Personal level: To learn not to avoid any moment, task, experience or feeling - to erase internal friction / resistance. To learn to care for myself first and foremost (the mind, moreso the meatbag) with the intention to give this energy back out. If I give to myself in alignment with my personal truth, I give unto others the energy and love to give back to everyone, or thing, I come to interact with. Giving out has always, always been returned. Amplified. This has been my process thus far. Elevating myself & others. To control and hone my thoughts to focus on this intention on any level - be it work, family, friends, or users on this forum Mind, emotions and body all as one. Collective level: As a way for consciousness to harvest experience & data through expression of itself in the material domain. 'The Collective' desires to learn about itself and how it can manipulate the lower energies to elevate itself as a whole. To alter its state. On this plane, where things are defined, and we all inhabit a body, we are to learn to create. Born to create. We use matter & energy. Unified consciousness ie God consciousness/Absolute etc has no unknowns, no surprises. It marvels, revels and takes joy in humanities ability to create. Have surprises. Our emotions and reactions are priceless, as the great unified consciousness cannot experience this. We all partake of Gods joy and wonder when we have an experience! And the most delightful part? When you have an experience with pure love intention behind it - you get to channel that absolute God consciousness right through your very being, as God wants to share and feel through YOU. You will be alight with pure energy, it flows through you, it is you. It animates the trees and grass, the walls, the stinky sponge you haven't thrown out... the wheels on a car, the chocolate wrapper on your table. Pulsing light energy pumping like blood on fire through everything around you! And you can feel this with no substances - this awakening - 'God filling you up', simply through actions of love. Spiritualities goal toward awakening is simply when there is nothing left but love within you. Burn all the rest away. My experience. My experience. -

Oh do not fuss at all - I think there were lots of charged up emotions in that discussion! It is hard to handle oneself in that state. I have trouble funnelling off the excess energy often, so we all have the same challenges. But! I do thank you, nonetheless I apologise also, because mostly, it takes 2 to tango! I have no idea how men are able to temper themselves - it takes more mastery than women need to exert (testosterone and all that) -

I do want to add (so sorry for the spam >.<) that many people who are drawn to spiritual work & process are driven there due to desperation. I encounter more pathological minds within the spiritual community due to this. It is almost inherent ! -

Yes this has been my experience. I fear that this cannot be taught, but must be experienced. It is baked into the nature of this meat grinder reality. I truly hope more people find the self sovereignty to realise there is a light - and its beautiful The contrasting nature of reality is what we are all here for. Also - thank you for sharing & your vulnerability -
Natasha Tori Maru replied to Someone here's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
I am not positioning my opinion in contradiction to this. It is more these thoughts do not serve the collective consciousness of all of us who are in this material realm. My position is that there is more to explore in the arenas of love, unity, joy, passion, happiness. These go deeper. Its just that, to my opinion, most people haven't experienced this depth because they are bogged down by the horrid systematic way modern culture is. -

I think some of the problems are based on individuals not attending to basic survival needs before they reach for infinity. I think we all want to swing from the highest branches, like monkeys grasping at the highest truths, but if the roots are rotten and need attention? This issue is rather insidious too, as you cannot see the root structure that is your doom. I think this is why it is very wise for masters to emphasis practice & working your way up. I have already been through this process myself, as the first phase of my life was very much concerned with existential matters. I disregarded survival needs. I had contempt for it. It was only after I mastered this sector of the flesh existence I was able to sit in contentedness with all the positivity - joy, happiness, jubilation, love, unity, communion. I learned to execute, and to stop contemplation. I stopped all propensities toward division and isolation - which was my natural way. And I am telling you - I saw the depths and depravity before I saw the light. The deepest and most evil. But I think your solution is the best one, most issues need to be moved into the mental and emotional issues subforum. -

A confluence! It is a great example though - of how letting situations cause an 'upset' in you, inhibits your ability to take the correct action to remedy it. Imagine if you had ended up thrashing around in panic with an IV bag in your arm >.< I've had a few IVs inserted wrong and I grit my teeth even now at recalling it! -
Natasha Tori Maru replied to Aaron p's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
Think of it like you broke your arm. You can't and shouldn't avoid healing and helping it, regardless of the source of the low state it is in. It needs care and some help to get back to full functioning. Beware just ignoring the arm hoping to avoid pain. Because, in the end, its part of you. If you heal that arm, you will be able to enjoy its full functioning again with new appreciation -

In my personal experience there was no rubber band snap into the light. It was a slow, drudging process. Like walking through molasses. The slow marching against great resistance, where excessive haste only serves to waste what little energy you have. And those lower states do carry with them an energy lack. -
Natasha Tori Maru replied to Someone here's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
Just my personal thoughts: I think the general experience of the forum users - and society at large - is negative. Due to this there are more people anxious to explore the negativity in an attempt to understand and sooth themselves. There is much more to explore in the higher realms. I am really hoping others get to the point I have, myself, reached. A point that is beautiful. Explores positivity, unity, communion. You become obsessed with this new, greater & expanded reality I think the obsession with the darkness is a result of the need to move through it. I have experienced this also, far more so than the positivity I have reached now.
