@Eren Eeager By OCD, what sort of thoughts for example. I ask because I had OCD and a child and it returned right before awakening and I realized it was inseparable with intuition. -
Focusing on the problem gets more of the problem. People often trick themselves that focusing on the problem is focusing on the solution when really what they are thinking about it how flawed they are, and not giving focus to the way they want to feel. So while it's good to use self help, you have to use it wisely. It's a tool that can be used destructively or constructively. Sometimes finding a creative pursuit or a new hobby or project you're passionate about is the best way to actually embody lessons from self help. If you don't have anything to build with the hammer you just bought, you might mistakenly think hitting yourself in the head with it is actually constructive.

I really don't think they are uncommon. I do think they are commonly misinterpreted. Following becoming very interested in the forum and talking and fighting with a lot of members here I had an intense purge of shadow stuff followed by a realization of oneness, synchronicity and intuition. I would sleep for short bursts at a time and wake up with revelations and write them out. Felt like channeling, like I couldn't rip myself away if I tried. My biggest judgments, fears and traumatic moments were seen in an entirely new light and Understanding of Love. Things I had always loved and were drawn to and never knew why were also included in this Understanding. I realized that this was just a story, brilliantly, creatively un"written". There was a moment after a big realization where it seemed like "something" popped, but it was something and nothing at the same time, just like... awareness. Then just bliss, and more experiences of realization for days. People glowed. Everything glowed. People's faces seemed bathed in a light of love. I had no sense of time, it sped away. I'd observe my parents lamenting over something in their fridge that spoiled and intensely knew in my heart that it was the most ridiculous thing, of course nothing could be wasted. I had almost perfect balance, I had an intuition to turn a rock over and it was covered with fossils. I knew I couldn't die, it was laughable. The bliss lasted for a few weeks. Then hedonic adaptation ensued, some old thought patterns snaked their way back in, I had to stop being a blissed out asshole and come back to earth, but I knew that I had been given the most priceless non-map I ever could have been given. I've since had smaller minor purges of shadow stuff. @Delis Have you looked into reiki or any similar kind of healing therapies? -
You can actually tell by how it feels. True help comes out of sheer love and inspiration, not a sense of duty or responsibility. It is good to give someone a fish sometimes, but the purpose is to fend of their hunger for a time only so they have the energy to continue to work and focus on learning to fish. If you yourself get hooked on the good feeling of giving someone a fish, that's codependency. You really have to watch your thoughts and feelings closely with self love to see through to what's really going on.

A reflection in a mirror can't see itself back. It is mistaken for the one that sees it by the one that sees it.

Sure, but how could you blame them? They never got a chance to be a kid and freely explore, or haven't yet had the chance anyway. -

Kids don't know anything about the world. You encourage them to ask questions, to be curious and you teach them how to feed their curiosity, you model a love of learning, and exploring for them. You don't shame them for being ignorant fools. If you do maybe they'll pretend to know while they just feed their fear of inadequacy rather than their love of knowledge and discovery. There's no point in time that one magically stops being a kid. -
It's not just the Walmart employees you actually see and interact with, what about all the employees in factories in China and other countries that are producing almost all the goods being sold there?

Find ways to practice even if you just make recordings or videos. In my experience it takes time to warm up to getting into the flow of speaking, like 10 or 15 minutes. This is normal in the flow of everyday conversation. My point is, do not judge your speaking abilities too quickly.

This is where meditation and mindfulness practices combine beautifully with the understanding of LOA. It's always been thoughts that say "no I can't enjoy this now I must think about my survival later" that have clouded the sheer beauty of "reality" just as it is now. What we call reality is in our thoughts and perceptions, so yes, it's too good to be true but it is True. It also helps to discover or ask why we really want anything, which we ultimately get to the answer of which is to feel good. I highly suggest Abraham Hicks if you want to go further with LOA. LOA is really about aligning our lives with Love, the ultimate "feeling good."

DUDE, you're giving yourself credit and solidity over me. You are are using the thought "there are no others" to other yourself further. Or you could flip it, and give me credit over you, it wouldn't matter. Hasn't that what you've been doing all your life with everyone? Trying to find out how you rate, where you stack up? There aren't two Gods, or two Universes and you need two to compare one with another. You don't need two to love however. -

@Javfly33 Nonduality. Learning and teaching is duality, a false separation. A desire to teach is a desire to learn, both student and teacher are one. Teacher learns from student, student teaches teacher. You can't cause anyone to learn or understand anything, they ask and because there are no separate minds, another can be in tune with the answer to receive it. We're all learners and teachers, and Awareness/Love is the ultimate Knowing, and also the ultimate Openness and Curiosity and Desire to know. It's what we're already made up of. I mean... isn't it brilliant? -

With a religious group in the past, or on your own? -
You didn't delude yourself. You can embody that understanding in everyday sober life and function normally. You can have the best of both worlds, cause there are no separate worlds. Awakenings or trips like that are like glimpses and you can use them as a kind of road map for the mind to understand the heart, (they are the same, but you get what I mean) and aligning our lives. Bit by bit the way we see people and relate and think of things is aligned with the realization of oneness. Your best bet is to meditate, follow a good diet and exercise, read and study and then follow your heart. Check out the book, "The Nature of Consciousness" by Rupert Spira. It will help you understand this and everything on a greater, deeper level. God/Consciousness/Awareness, always with you, always is you.

When are we going door to door in suits? I suppose we don't even have to because of the hundredth monkey effect. That's really good news. -
Hey, good luck! I've struggled with either endometriosis or PCOS, lots of cyclical pain but due to other choices and circumstances I never got clear diagnosis. I decided to go the diet route and found it to be a huge help, but also a long process. I'm mostly dairy and gluten free, I found the most benefit from cutting back on sugar and dairy. Like Michael said, being really choosey about the fats you eat is key too. When I was a kid we had all kinds of hydrogenated fats in our diets and if they weren't it was overly heated canola oil, or some other low quality fat. I do fine with grass-fed butter. That might help if you're feeling deprived. There's some studies that suggest that women, especially younger women can get away with more saturated fats than men can. I also highly recommend this book as there are so many variables in our lives to contribute to pain and disease. https://www.amazon.com/Womens-Bodies-Wisdom-Creating-Emotional/dp/0525486119/ref=sr_1_1?dchild=1&qid=1608389918&refinements=p_27%3AChristiane+Northrup+M.D.&s=books&sr=1-1&text=Christiane+Northrup+M.D.

Heal means literally to make whole, sort of like yoga means union. Cure comes from Latin curatus, past participle of curare "to take care of". Funny that we have the modern day connotations of the two words backwards as to their original meanings. Maybe the process of healing and curing and the finality of the process aren't different?

Are we there yet? Are we there yet? Are we there yet? A watched pot never boils and there's no "we", "there" or "yet" Your thoughts are an object of awareness, and mind notices contrast. So if you've been holding a lot of beliefs that are causing you to resist, and then one or more of those beliefs is let go, the feeling of lightness is incredible, blissful. Mind notices the contrast, just like when you have the stomach flu for a day and suddenly recover, you feel a sense of bliss. Contrast is created by mind. You didn't gain anything but you released an unconscious tension. It's ok to want the bliss, but to get it you have to not hold it apart from yourself in mind created tension of time and space. So when people are like, "it's already done, there's nothing to want, you're enlightened", they are 100% right but can in their own experience unconsciously cover over or resist desire. Resisting desire or search is resistance and an unwillingness to explore desire or search. Then when people are like, "there's infinite levels", they create a story that of themselves in a position on a ladder or path suggesting that they are somehow lacking, or not where they want to be, which can hold them in an experience of lack. Either take-a-way or conclusion to this problem can perpetuate resistance. That's why we debate this so much. Someone tries to find security in one or the other, and the other senses the security and feels insecure in response. Neither of these take-a-ways are right, yet they both are true. All you can do is become aware of your own resistances by feeling into them. Excitement, mystery and anticipation of what may come is an amazing feeling that can only be experienced right now. In the actual experience of that feeling, there's no story of time or location. -

It's like going through a second adolescence. I'm an ADULT now. oh... wait. That's been my own experience anyway. -
mandyjw replied to Someone here's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
I make them hard. You neither can nor can't take action. Action isn't what it seems, but we all know by feeling the difference of resistance, effort, or being in the flow and accepting. So I say, let's play. Action out of love happens all by itself, and is the only non action everything else is effort. That's why love is aligned with awareness. I mean you're here. You're part of some sort of story, fictional though it may be it is epic and created out of love. You are love, created by love for love, by love. -
mandyjw replied to Someone here's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
Sure. You could say love is an aligned quality of awareness. Total openness, allowance, unconditional, acceptance, intimacy with everything. So love manifest in the world is an aligned quality of awareness which makes it True. -
mandyjw replied to Someone here's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
What would truth be without the love of truth and where would love be if it wasn't true? You don't have experiences with infinite love realized rocks? You people don't get outside enough.
