Sorry. Never say never, you can't know what will happen. Always keep your mind and heart open. -

Ohhhhhh, so that's how you are able to put up with our bullshit. That's what all this work was for, TADA! -

Yes, part of raising your consciousness means being present enough to catch when you are thinking egoic thoughts. You know them because they cause you pain. As soon as you feel that pain, you calm the mind. So awareness of how you feel is the very first, most important step. Every time you interrupt a negative thought with a conscious breath or looking at the sky and appreciating it's infinite beauty, your brain rewires itself. That's why diet, exercise, lifestyle and all personal development sort of flow into the same place of raising your consciousness, yes some steps take discipline to get there. It doesn't feel good to not have discipline when it's needed. Being unhealthy and eating a crappy diet doesn't feel good, but the reason so many people live this way is because they just aren't in tune with how they feel. -

@Truthority What's worse, the thought that you're going to die or the thought that you'll live FOREVER? I'm so glad neither one is true. -

Pay attention to how you feel as much as you can and as often as you can, and you'll be able to sort intuition from higher self from the ego's ramblings and demands. Even in what you wrote you mention how you want to avoid certain feelings, you already inherently know this. Our job is always to move in the direction of how we want to feel which we cannot do unless we carefully observe how we are feeling all the time. You get better and better at knowing how you feel and better and better at moving in the direction that makes you feel better. You feelings are already intuition itself, they are your inner guidance system. For example, this past winter I got an impulse to look up a book on the internet but I was busy and couldn't do it just then. I forgot what the impulse was. I vividly remember standing in my bedroom and remembering the amazing feeling of the impulse, which was still with me. I knew that I had had a really good idea and wanted to remember what it was, so after a minute I did and that time I was sure to do it. The book ended up being something entirely different from what I was expecting, it was a rabbit hole into nonduality, which was completely unexpected, because at the time I thought it was just going to be reading something fun and interesting. The thing about impulses is, they don't make logical sense so having a fun and playful spirit along with a deep desire for truth will go far. I have also experienced extremely forceful and almost terrorizing intuitions as a child before I knew how to watch my feelings. Looking back I know that if I had followed them I would have woken up, but why they came through years before I was ready to open my heart to them, I don't know. Compassionately working with fear in oneself is key. On the other side of fear is love. Of course, this is just another way of wording, pay attention to how you feel. Work with the fear, cultivate the love. -

There are no techniques that work all across the board because there is no path, you are aligning with truth/love that is in it's essence you, that is the process that we use the pointer of "the path" to describe. You always had openings to it in the past and you always were it. Because the world is scattered, if you think of a starburst, and you are a ray of light radiating from the center, the direction that one ray of light goes to connect with center is from a perspective different from the others. Some of us have to travel in completely opposite directions to reach source. Clearing the mind gives the opportunity for impulses to come to you that will lead you back to source, or rather better align you in your form existence with source. If you meditate and turn it into a "thing that you do" which often happens when we focus on how long we meditate for, it can lose its ability to connect you with source. Paradoxically, every day you meditate you "build" the ability to clear the mind and connect with source. Intuition is really important. Comparison with others or even yourself in the past or where you think you should be will block intuition. Intuition comes from paying attention to how you feel and if you set a rigorous schedule that you stick to no matter what and no matter how you feel you might be cutting yourself off. Having the flexibility to follow your intuition is important. But if for now the rigorous schedule feels good, then you're on the right track. Also a comment on past lives, if you uncover a past life or some sort of similar past connection, you can never really claim it as your past life. It is a bridge, a duality within the formless, pointing towards that you were always One. So there both are and are not past lives. -

Aww... you're the Grinch. Can't escape those sweet stories. -
mandyjw replied to ardacigin's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
The story is that humans became evolved enough for thought in the garden of eden and got the knowledge of "good and evil" or the illusion of "free will." Animals don't have that. If you think that that development was nothing more than a massive unfortunate mistake, then you cut yourself off from the magic of creation. So there's prethought, caught in thought and "no thought". Yet animals, and all of nature and those potent things derived from nature (psychadelics) from the prethought category all have the potential to help align you with conciousness because in a wierd strangeloop fashion it includes all and you are all of it. -

@Leo GuraYou've really thrown yourself into the lion's den haven't you? Everyone says that nonduality and truth can't be described using language and are just pointers blah, blah, blah but until you understand that deeply people get the wrong idea. You're a polarizing, provocative as fuck teacher because your pointers are like knives to the heart. Efficient and effective, but... ouch. Yet your videos are super long and in depth. Well, God works in mysterious ways. -

Just wondering if I'm off in drawing these conclusions. God doesn't care whether or not anyone gets enlightened, God loves all people the same. Yet in everyone there's a seed (as we are created in the image of God) that under the correct conditions, grows, maybe it flowers, and maybe... it even bears fruit. Yet when one bears fruit and aligns himself with God, God is still conscious of all others as one with itself and time is nonexistent so ultimately enlightenment and gaining or losing it itself is part of the illusion. You are everything and everyone and if you miss love as the connecting force you'll be choked out by weeds. Love burns up completely the elitism and unfairness as illusion, you cannot be separate from those who are "unenlightened". -
I prayed my whole life to God to give me wisdom. Wisdom is that love is all there is. I want to learn to speak the language of love. I want to clearly channel it. Are we allowed to build the tower of Babel now? Have we been scattered long enough? I have such a deep desire to share this love and bliss. But it's so easily misinterpreted, so easily glossed over and thrown away. For he who has ears to hear, hear. For him who's heart is open, receive and give love for both are one. We could dissolve into beautiful nothingness together.

You need to build a toolbox for pulling yourself out of that state. Getting out in nature, grounding, crystals, a vision board, pictures that inspire you on Pinterest, a good book, exercise, whatever it is that does it for you. SHAUN!!! You can't improve the world from the position that thinks it's all shit. Don't let your light, your brilliance, your God given gifts go to waste. Source, the universe, and mother Earth thinks that you are amazing. She worked really hard to make you, and to make this world for you to enjoy and you want to reject her gift. Can you imagine how sad that makes her? You need to align yourself with her will to be happy. You know why? Because she is you. -

Meditation/communion with nature opened that door for me. Also weirdly enough it was a mix of nature and past human history there that really did it. There has to be a, inherent passion/love for the thing itself, not just for what one wants to get out of it. I wish it were easier to point toward. -

You don't believe that a Chinese sweat shop worker could be happy? Have you heard of hedonic adaptation? Conditions don't have much to do with happiness. -

Why do you always come back to the evil when you can always come back to the love and the good? What's your experience right now at his very moment? What are you imagining? That's all you can take responsibility for. -

I just noticed that there's a yellow orb that showed up in this photo. This is a road that goes into a cemetery. -

@Aakash I must kill my own ego before I love others as myself? -
mandyjw replied to Schahin's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
Whaaaat? I thought killing my ego would be a heck of a lot easier than getting along with other people and now you're saying I have to learn to get along with people anyway? -
She was still speaking her language of love. Love is unavoidable. All this othering though, it could really shine through a lot clearer if we worked on our othering. At what point does there stop being a self to work on? Or a self to take care of, to hurt or be hurt? It's not that others are your self, it's not that you give, it's that you just are, and that you are love.

I wanted to try to explain why I keep harping about stories to people. You know how sometimes you get a realization and you start seeing it everywhere? I'm hoping sharing this lets me move on. I didn't understand how much I demonized stories and missed what powerful pointers to oneness stories can be. The author loves all the characters and everything that happens as she/he created them. You can step in and step out of stories at will, and you can create your reality when you realize that you are the author. I underestimated the amount of mosquitoes and red ants there were where I filmed this so please forgive all the sudden movements.

Yes, but I am trying to pawn the work off to someone else first and it doesn't seem to be working out. I feel responsible for her leaving too, but I never really understood why she left anyway.

I think that all of those are all true at the same time. Eckhart Tolle is a bridge, it's such an incredible thing I'm learning to appreciate more and more. Bridges are useful both ways. I don't have a high pain tolerance at all, but I am used to bug bites. Thank you! After the awakening I acted a lot like a little kid and my ego came back and smacked me upside the head like a boomerang. So I'm still recovering from that shock and integrating the newly freed inner child with the adult who wants to look and sound responsible, and both are total pains in the asses so I really hope that they work things out soon. Another part of integration is the understanding that it never really happened. It too is a story I tell myself. -
Well then. Nowisforever is gone, Tsuki is gone. Talk about lonely tea parties. A bridge, a bridge, we wants to build a bridge!!! This "community" is a bunch of lone wolf loners, myself included, trying to turn themselves into superheros with superpowers while turning their back on the world. Love can build a bridge, you fuckers!!! Mandy, was that outburst really necessary? Yes. Tea parties are more fun when you're alone! After all, I'm just God pretending to be myself. What's the difference??? I'm going to make tsuki and nowisforever sock puppets. That will make it all better.
