  1. In the book she mentions Buddha's flower sermon when he just held the flower and said nothing, and only one disciple Mahakasyapa got it and smiled, she says it was because his path was The Grail Path. https://blog.buddhagroove.com/the-flower-sermon/
  2. @Salvijus Yes! In my experience the DIY approach works to a point, but you had better be really in touch with your inner being, and even then she or he will lead you to who you need to learn from eventually. The lone wolf approach only takes you so far.
  3. Yes, the masculine and feminine need to be integrated and yet, metaphysically we will still embody and teach different energies. If it's going to change with time then we need to go into duality and understand our differences so that we can understand how we are also the same. We need to teach everyone how to properly start their journey. Certain techniques like psychedelics and Kriya yoga may not be appropriate or even safe for everyone. In a holistic sense it doesn't matter, but when it comes to helping people with specifics and helping people improve their lives, we need to understand our differences intellectually as best as we can, we need a compass so that we know what direction we need to travel in. That has been my journey and is the last leg, that I need to finally intellectually understand the power I was born with and learn to focus, channel it and teach it so that it can do some good rather than just be in a lofty bliss state I enjoy all by myself while letting the world fall apart around me.
  4. It's only been until very recently that culture hasn't had rigid beliefs about the natures of men and women. The history she shares in the book talks about traditions that excluded men or women, but that's only historically, the path is for both men who were born more creative and heart centered, or for men who have finished with the kundalini path and wish to go the whole way. For example my Dad is very heart centered, all his life challenges are very basic ones but he is very open spiritually and in tune with universal love, and has been since the day he was born. Outwardly he's a truck driver, so he doesn't have a lot of feminine qualities, but his spiritual path would definitely be more in line with this. She talks about Masons excluding women because the use the path to raise kundalini energy and it can be damaging or bring out destructive energy in many women. She also laments the loss of traditions where certain moral and other foundations were required before energy was to be raised or given. I'm not 100% sure that those points are the entire story, I'm going to keep my mind open. When I had my awakening, it was like I expanded upon or could clearly see something that I knew I had always had, a fire, a passion, a connection, love whatever you want to call it. Masculine energy definitely was necessary to prompt the awakening and the way it happened makes very little sense when I compare it to most teachings, but this book explains what happened perfectly. I saw how as I grew up I had become ashamed of my "inner being", I became withdrawn, a hermit with workaholic behaviors. I covered up the light because I knew was too strong for most to appreciate and even convinced myself it was bad or part of my ego. When I went about trying to kill my ego, the inner child essence part of myself blossomed out like a flower and I saw the spiritual ego as the actual ego that was masquerading as my higher self in subduing the true manifestation of self.
  5. Anglerfish are awesome. The females anyway. That jellyfish looks like something my three year old daughter would have dreamed up. Magical. Those birds look so ridiculous, it's as if they know that they have to put on a good show to keep their home.
  6. THE LEFT, the left, the left! I couldn't feel the heart on the right, the path of Ramaji and Ramana Maraharshi, they are ass backwards to the path of grace. The stomach pain, all the strange chronic pain I've had is on the left, the uncentered light I saw, always to the left. There are TWO paths, two energies. Lightning strikes down, rain falls down. It rains on mother earth and the seed grows up toward the light, blossoms and bears fruit.
  7. @Mikael89 No free love for you then.
  8. "The Tao produced the One. The One produced the Two. The two produced the Three. The three produced ALL things." "The Holy Grail is not an object that can be found in the physical world. It resides within the psyche and can only be seen through the mind's eye or imagination. The mindset and practices of the seeker create the Holy Grail, The Cosmic Egg, and the Divine Child. During the entire transformation, the Kundalini does not rise through the base chakra, which means that the Heiros Gamos does not take place. This is why the seeker of the grail is called a "Virgin" and why another name for this spiritual path in The Virgin's path. " Mischa V Alyea https://www.amazon.com/Grail-Path-Achieving-Transformation-Emotional/dp/0692558837/ref=sr_1_4?keywords=the+grail+path&qid=1565441524&s=gateway&sr=8-4 I should have known it was happening backwards for me. I kept getting headaches whenever I tried to raise energy.
  9. The Didache, begins "There are two ways, one of life and one of death, and there is a great difference between these two ways." There are two different spiritual energies. Duality itself runs deeper than can be thought.
  10. HOLY SHIT. This woman is AMAZING! https://www.amazon.com/Grail-Path-Achieving-Transformation-Emotional/dp/0692558837/ref=sr_1_4?keywords=the+grail+path&qid=1565441524&s=gateway&sr=8-4 "The Grail Path and The Hero's Journey are diametrically opposite paths. The Grail Path utilizes the Divine Power of Grace to cleanse the inner being and grow the Divine Child. The Hero's Journey uses the Divine Power of Kundalini to initiate the inner transformation of killing the ego and heightening the sense. It does not matter if you call these twins Dark and Light, Bread and Wine, Yin and Yang, Lightning and Snake, or Adam and Eve. These mystical twins, through their metaphorical portrayals, show up through the ages and in a multitude of cultures." Hence, women fearing the snake and the snake deceiving Eve. She even says that's why Masons never allowed women to join. In the past people assumed that women's brains were wired emotional/creative and men's were wired logical, now we know that while that's the trend that it's not gender that defines that.
  11. I had a strong natural awakening and couldn't sleep for between one and two weeks. Don't worry, it will pass so try to accept the situation fully. This goes against other advice here but one thing that made it worse is because I was also naturally fasting which intensified the energy in my case. If you eat carbs before bed, they make you drowsy and sleepy. Might help a little in the meantime. Are you still getting meaningful dreams and realizations?
  12. You're thinking of it a bit backwards. Mental illness is a possible path to enlightenment. OCD becomes integrated as intuition, etc. Even Alzheimer's and dementia are mystical transitions.
  13. Long term solution, use personal development and spirituality to learn to open up with yourself and others, then the relationship will flow as it should or end if it should.
  14. It is, there's ultimately no difference between enlightenment and love. So you weren't wrong in the past and your aren't wrong now. It's just much, much, MUCH bigger than you thought of, than we all thought, because it can't be thought of!
  15. Fear of potential.
  16. @ValiantSalvatore Thank you! Today is 8-8, Lion's Gate.
  17. @Nahm Synchronicity is through the roof today, must have been the lightning storm last night.
  18. @Zigzag Idiot I ordered it, the sample on Amazon seemed quite readable. For what I can glean, there's a difference in paths, kundalini energy being different from the path of "light". It also seems very tied with feminine and masculine energies and what paths are needed to integrate them, what's the missing piece of the puzzle so to speak? The first time I sat down to meditate I was pregnant with my daughter and I closed my eyes and almost immediately had a strong insight, "I am light." I didn't meditate much at all after until recently.
  19. But Leo!!! Please tell us how your experiences on psychedelics connected you to your inner child. Wasn't there a glimpse of wisdom that you had as a child and had forgotten about, just that open-hearted knowing of one's timeless essence, connection with source and in love with the wonder of the world? @nistake Practice seeing the world with the eyes of a child, see the wonder and magic in everything again. Have an open heart and a willingness to play and open your heart to other people. My best tip of all, go run around barefoot in nature.
  20. Last night I had an experience of being immersed in golden light, everything was yellow. I can't remember which happened first but I woke up and the skies opened up and poured for just a minute. I got up and had my eyes closed and the lightning lit up the room and seemed intensely bright for having my eyes closed and spooked me for a second. Later I went back to sleep and one of our smoke alarms malfunctioned, but only for a second, and then again for another few beeps. I got up and checked the house but everything was fine. https://www.amazon.com/dp/0062501933/ref=rdr_ext_tmb Translator, Thomas Cleary. I couldn't have imagined a better name.
  21. https://www.quora.com/Which-hero-stories-from-around-the-world-do-not-fit-into-Joseph-Campbells-theory-of-the-archetypal-hero Mischa Alyea, Author of "The Basics of Mysticism" Answered Oct 7, 2018 "The pregnant Goddess figurines from the Neolithic come to mind. They emerged at the time agriculture was being perfected. The pregnancy was not a physical event that resulted in the birth of a live child. It was a divine event that resulted in giving birth to the masculine qualities (Jung called this the animus) within the female psyche. Women leaders were required to experience the emergence of the animus, since it gave them the ability to use the logical capacities within left-brain. Rain was considered the semen of Father Sky. Ancient peoples related the downward movement of the rain with the process of pollination. The pollination from Father Sky caused the Virgin Birth. It is the individuation process for women. It brings peace and opens the logical areas of the brain. The Nativity in Christianity and The Secret of the Golden Flower in the Buddhist/Taoist traditions are prime examples of stories that do not fit the Joseph Campbell monomyth model. The Hero's Journey is the individuation process for men. It involves the killing of the ego. This path brings compassion and opens the creative areas of the brain."
  22. Mary has been coming up in my life a lot too. I have an antique portrait of her right next to me because I bought it for the frame years ago and then after a recent awakening realized that she's a perfect and beautiful depiction of open heart and crown chakras. I was taught Christianity through a Baptist lens, and to us, Mary was mostly just a random woman who gave birth to Jesus. But she represents something, she is a pointer. The virgin birth, the birth of a male to a female represents the balance of masculine/feminine energies resulting in awakening.
