That's another trick of the mind, it says I enquired and I got an answer. What knows is not the mind, or the self. What knows is awareness itself. It cannot be found in past.

I don't think you really could and just say "yup" You're missing that the miracle in walking on water is not Jesus walking on water at all, but it is that within awareness you can imagine such a thing right now, exactly the same way it can imagine Eckhart Tolle sitting in a chair. That's the miracle. You. Tada! The miracle is in the awareness in which everything happens or does not happen, that comes first before everything else. There is no Jesus or Eckhart Tolle, no me or you, just awareness.

Have you ever really, really asked yourself, what is this? How is there something rather than nothing? How is consciousness even possible? How is that I'm here, seeing this right now? There's a 0 in infinity chance of you being here now, you. 0 in infinity means it's a sure thing. Seeing with your own eyes is such an unbelievable mystical experience that enlightenment is just a walk in the park after that. It's a done deal.

There's something really satisfying about working for free, especially when you first start doing something that you're really inspired to do, so doing it is a reward in itself. It's true whatever you give out comes back to you. But people do truly want to pay you and give back to you too. Often money is the just the way that it makes the most sense to pay someone back, and it makes your clients feel better and know what to expect when they know what your time cost is upfront. They will be less likely to focus and feel worthy of your advice if they think they are taking advantage of you. I think when you first start out it's good to work for free or for little until you really hone your skills. Then you'll be confident setting a price for your time, and the money you get paid should serve the work you do on a greater whole. If you work for too little or for free you'll need to dedicate your time to something else instead. Having the right fee for a service, where you and your client feel happy with the exchange is absolute magic, and the work you do will flourish and serve the world as a whole beyond just coach and client. Art, caregiving and spiritual guidance is all in the category of "stuff society doesn't value much" in our minds, because our society is currently imbalanced in this way. Should this change? I think it changes both by us starting to value it and pay more for it, and both in us making it available for free more. I really like the idea of offering both free content and having paid services. Basically that's what Leo does here. Money is a tool. It doesn't serve anyone to disregard the value in using a tool, nor does it serve anyone to value the tool itself over its actual purpose.

At exactly what point does a stranger become a friend and at what point do you truly know and understand your closest friend? You never will. I think the best way to experience incredible friendships is to just go about assuming everyone is already your friend, but with an authentic curiosity and openness because you don't really know them at all, no matter how close you think you are.

The mind creates order where there is none, not seeing that the order it tries so hard to create out of its fear of disorder is just more disorder. The fear of disorder looks at awakening and calls it messy, dark and horrible. It is like the trees dropping their leaves in the Fall. It creates a huge mess, but is part of the perfect order beyond all ideas of order.

How they feel. One feels like complete acceptance and resonance and one feels like resistance. Is it possible that love actually, is feeling itself, rather than A feeling and therefore that's why when we feel it we feel utter resonance and oneness with it?

Yeah, it was a for real insight for me too. My daughter kept saying "Happy Birthday" to me incessantly for days before the awakening, and I kept saying it wasn't my birthday, then during the awakening, I was like "OMG! It IS my birthday!"

No, you aren't a lazy bastard but you're focusing on lack. Focus on love and abundance and crazy awesome stuff will happen. This world is already beautifully wild and incomprehensible. Notice it as you go about your life and it gets more so. Even if you take psychedelics or have a full blown awakening some other way, you need to learn this kind of meditation, focus or connection to embody it. Start now, wherever you are. There's no time, you're already whole. The entire thing is a fantastic journey.

In my experience awakening cures it spectacularly, and then you slowly fade out and go back to old patterns, but you see through them in a way you never did before. Then there's a lot of "work" or integration, or letting go of thoughts and beliefs. Perhaps other little awakenings and insights. Liberation might be the world you're looking for. There is no other possibility other than this one, except for that which is your power to freely dream and create, which is none other than the power of now and what is. But beliefs and patterns of thought have us noticing the lack of things and the absence of things. It's thought trying to think of what the lack of something is, so because it has to make it into SOMETHING, it makes it into the judgement of it's idea of what awful is or what missing out is. Ridiculously funny, but also tragic.

@Preety_India Just a thought, do you have any creative, artistic outlets? One thing I've noticed is that a huge percentage of women on the path seem to have a deep inherent need to make stuff and create. Even if it's not a source of income, it's there and it can lead to other things. If you're not making time for it it can really cause you to resent your job or any other mundane or everyday duties in life. If this resonates let me know, cause I can suggest some other resources.

Diet is just one aspect, although it's hugely symbolic, and beyond symbolic. The thoughts we accept and take in are the thoughts we choose to consume and that create us and our world, just like food. Being careful to choose the thoughts and the foods that feel good to take in is important.

I just made a wish for enlightenment before I blew out the candles on my birthday cake. Totally worked. Want it, deeply, more than anything else, but don't resist it. See it in everything else.

Ok, so this is the part in your relationship with "God" where "She" pushes you against the wall and says "shut up and kiss me". You're too busy asking her what her middle name is and all kinds of ridiculous questions, completely avoiding what you both really want from the interaction.

If you like outgoing guys you'll get away with being shy because they will be the only ones who can interact with you. But if you like guys on the more shy, introspective, reserved side, you'll have to figure out how to get through to them. Which can be really fun. Try switching the dynamics up, flirt, joke around with shy guys and try to get them out of their shells. See a whole new side of yourself emerge. It's really easy for people to mistake shyness and social anxiety for snobbery and disinterest. We see that look of terror in someone's eyes as we walk up to them or say hello and assume that it's dislike for us, when really it's the terror of being confronted with talking to someone of the opposite sex.

No body is not an idea, that's why the idea seems disturbing. This is not something you see or understand and are done, it's a really long process of being honest with ourselves and going into feeling over thinking again, and again and again. "You" actually do a terrible job of protecting your body. If you really listened to it you'd be caretaking it more efficiently. "You" often stress yourself out more over some threat and damage your body, rather than taking appropriate intelligent action or letting the body automatically respond. "You" block intuition out with fear or the assumption that you or some other outside expert knows better. Go find a trail through the woods and run as fast as you possibly can on it. You will have to be completely immersed in your body, and completely present. You cannot think or predict with the mind which roots or rocks or trees are obstacles, if you get ahead of what is, you will miss the ones in your present experience and fall on your face. "You" are actually a threat to your body because of your obsessive need to protect it, you project dangers that aren't actually there and in doing so fail to respond to the present... the only time that any danger can actually hurt you.

That story about always alternating between walking on legs or sitting on your ass is absolutely riveting, isn't it? Are you sitting down for this one? Ok good. You're not.
