For the purpose of creation. I was so inspired to write this story. I know my characters aren't real, but I sure love them anyway. I'm not here really. I'm another character. I'm more intimately you than you can know me as anything other than. Mind IS separation. There's no "right" mind. Mind is left AND right. Madness, utter madness, so mad, it creates madness out of perfect wholeness. Did you ever experience anything other than now?

@Shin It's an illusion. What women really want is a man who can really focus her mind. But since you see her mind is scattered you're actually scattered yourself, so. Fail.

Your awareness is always not split. There's no 100% unification, there's just not separate. Since all experience and creation begins in consciousness or awareness it's already always the case that you are not separate. You try to get happier and happier because you yourself are looking at yourself as an objective thing. You had to first separate yourself in order to look back at yourself and then after that first separation you make further separations in judging yourself. You are not separate, you can't do that. The first separation is "I". I is the owning of awareness, the hijacking of it. Awareness loves everything it sees. Mind creates and separates. But awareness precedes mind. In consciousness work you train the mind to always return to what precedes it, you return to home when it projects itself out somewhere that feels bad. You're like the prodigal son. It doesn't. It never did. It only seems that way to the mind you've separated yourself from enough to be able to call your mind. It's a superpower, (although sort of a lame one compared with awareness, but no one gets to OWN that.) Use it for good, use it wisely. Feeling is your guide.

In my opinion there's something energetically off with Mooji, but it's hard to separate rumors from intuition sometimes. I've absolutely hated tons of spiritual teachers in the past and then later completely come around to them. It's really hard to separate actual intuition that someone wants to cause you harm from the ego's fear of being confronted. I think that itself is why scandals can be so devastating and destructive.

Well, they are all men. We project the qualities we want and think will make us secure in the having of them onto our teachers and role models. This is both absolutely good and also really self deceptive. Don't worship idols. I-dolls. The "I" makes them and imagines them into real characters for its own play.

I don't quite follow, you mean switch roles as parents? No, I don't think it would shift much, but there's definitely a lot of role belief on my part and what I often assume is complete blissful ignoreance on his. Was this for me? I am a man, duh! I just spell it Amanda sometimes.

I've run since I was 10. Absolutely love everything about it. Now that I'm in my 30's I find light trail running to be a huge boost physically and mentally but high mileage on pavement not so great for my body, although the runner's highs from long runs, OMG. If you're getting shin splints watch increasing mileage too fast and make an effort to really watch and train your form.

Being a mom makes you want alone time and focus more than anything. Like, you'll suddenly appreciate it everywhere. Dental cleanings become paradise on earth. Sure, I brush my teeth every night while I scream at my kids to put on their pajamas and plan the next day. Multi-tasking.

Who in your house do you kids go to first when they lose something? Thought I was gonna transcend emotions with enlightenment, instead they just get more intense.

Awww, well fuck! When I was a kid I was devoutly Christian and I thought I'd like to talk about spirituality but only men are allowed to be preachers. Yeah, but when you have believed that you are transcending the mind and you let go of your belief of rising above "something" over time, then the word backwards becomes an incredibly helpful pointer. The beginning is the end. Strange loops don't only go in one direction. I mean did you imagine they only went clockwise? OH, no.

People gravitate towards teachers who emanate what they want. In our society we worship emotional equanimity and mistake focus and equanimity for enlightenment. Focus and being scatter brained are not what they seem, when you go deep into nonduality. They are opposites only to the mind, going beyond the mind does not mean having a focused mind. It is not transcending mind. It means going backwards and through mind, including mind. The reason you see more male teachers and more successful teachers are male is because people misunderstand and project what they want from enlightenment onto it. There are also a lot of reasons that women are programmed to want to help and do their work for free without seeking any recognition. A master is not a master until you see him as such. "Master" is a projection of the mind, also coincidently, has strong connotations of being male. Ah, duality is a bitch. Or master. Whatever.

Absolutely not. You chose the wrong word out of the sentence. You chose the verb, not the pronoun. The noun is always the culprit, if there is one, which there isn't. It's never the verb. Don't blame verbs. WHO wants to know? Who wants to know? wants to know- awareness

Translation: I don't know if I really want to know but I think I already know. Ask not asked. There's no completion, no final answer, that's death. This is life beyond ideas of life and death. The answer is the asker. Lots of answers will come and you expand your asking more. Who wants to know?

My intuition told me to watch a Mel Robbins talk the other day and she was telling this guy that he has like a 1 in some ridiculous number chance of being him. So I was kinda like, "woah that's ABSOLUTELY amazing but also uhmm, no that's not right." So this morning during meditation I was like "0 is infinity... oh ok there ya go". So you can thank Mel Robbins and @zeroISinfinityI guess. That's why I said "really, really" asked yourself.
