  1. @mmKay What are your thoughts on buying pre-made water kefir?
  2. I have combined hydrogen/methane SIBO. What would be an effective combination of antimicrobials? I'm currently taking two 450mg allicin (Allimed/Allisure) capsules and two Berberine-500 capsules (by Thorne) a day. The SIBO Notes website says to take 3x/day. Should I bump the berberine up to 3 capsules a day for 1500mg? I'm also taking 1200mg of Magnesium a day for constipation. Are there any other supplements I should incorporate?
  3. @Leo Gura Have you tried combining a solo retreat with a water fast? I am considering doing a water fast.
  4. Exactly. It must be this way for him to have the popularity he has. This is why he’s (relatively) mainstream. It has its pros and cons. The pro is that it has more reach, the con is that it’s not as direct. Nothing inherently wrong with either approach, the more people that learn, the better. But depth is also needed, which comes at the cost of reach.
  5. @Razard86 That’s true. I think he just has A LOT of integrity. 90% of people who see that video will think Leo has gone crazy. Leo probably knew this and uploaded it anyway. He didn’t want to compromise his integrity. Even Sadhguru withholds a lot of things. Because he would seem crazy to most people if he said them outright.
  6. It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for someone who is rich to enter the kingdom of God.
  7. What are the best books on overcoming adversity and/or a depressive rut? I'm looking for books that have any of these: New perspectives on looking at adversity and obstacles Unwiring a victim mindset Taking 100% responsibility for your life Becoming a leader to motivate you to overcome your own obstacles so that you can help others overcome theirs Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated
  8. Has anyone here dealt with anhedonia before and cured it?
  9. What are the best books on overcoming anxiety, worrying, catastrophizing, fearful thinking, and paranoia?
  10. How do I know if self-esteem is what I want?
  11. Be careful with that. You don't want to use this as an excuse to dabble around interests until you're 21. The exploration is important but it's counterproductive to stay in it for too long. Most of your progress and results will come from sticking with something. If you think you're resonating with something before 21 — and it doesn't have to be perfect — then go with that. Go with it as soon as you can, not until you're 21. Even when you're 21+, you can always change your path down the line. Your values and goals always evolve, they're very likely not going to stay the exact same all throughout your life. It wouldn't be a waste of time if you were to change paths since you'd have learned from your experience. The earlier you start, the better.
  12. When was the last time you posted on your newsletter?
  13. @Leo Gura Did the dinosaurs like your newsletter too? Perhaps that's why you were the only human alive at the time.
  14. Okay cool. When was the last time he posted on his newsletter anyway?
  15. Cool! So do you just paste the text into it? Or do you use the "Documents" option and add a file?
  16. Does Leo still update/post on his newsletter?
  17. Yes. Just start. Action is 10x more important than theory. Don't learn and introspect and then start — this is a subtle, sneaky form of procrastination. Start, then learn and introspect. Your life purpose isn't permanently set in stone when you pick it. You will be constantly honing it through theory & introspection for the rest of your life, but you first need to have a base of experience to introspect on in the first place. Action tends to self-correct itself as you are constantly getting feedback. You can't get feedback from theory alone though, because theory doesn't meet the rubber with the road, only action does. If you start taking action on your life purpose now, 6 months later you'll have a new vantage point from which you can determine whether this is your real purpose or whether you would want to do something different — because you will be introspecting based on direct experience. But if you don't take any action, 6 months later you will be at the same vantage point you are at now, so you won't truly know if this is for you because you have no base of experience to reflect on.
  18. I read the article. This is part of what it says: ”Only certified Somatic Experiencing Practitioners (SEP) have specific training in this type of somatic therapy. If you’re considering giving SE a try, look for a therapist with the SEP credential.” @Ulax Have you done this before? How did it go? Do you think you got results from it? That is gold. It’s like if you were near sighted your entire life but just thought that is how reality is, until you put on glasses for the first time. Right?
  19. I mostly just want an idea of how long I should do the practices for and what practices I should consider doing, not an exact, rigid schedule. That’s why I said “be like” and not just “be”. That’s a really nice way to put it
  20. Has anyone tried using Inositol for OCD, anxiety, or depression? If so, what is the best Inositol supplement for these purposes?
  21. @flowboy How can I know whether I am repressing something? I don't feel like I am repressing anything. Yes. I'll take on any pain that will help get me out of this.
  22. @Superfluo You don't seem to have a signature currently. Could you link the posts please? @Anirban657 How long will you be taking the medications for? Key thing here is "good doctor". Last time I put my faith in a doctor I almost died to suicide, had they given me warnings about the medication they prescribed it wouldn't have been so bad... because I wouldn't have taken it in the first place knowing how risky it is for people under 18.
  23. @Michael569 Thanks for your input. Need to fire on all cylinders right?
