  1. @Leo Gura The problem here, Leo, is that some people on this thread misinterpret what you're saying for being shallow and insensitive. when actually you're making a lot of sense. It's just that they need to get caught up with the entire big-picture perspective of why pickup exists, but obviously they still haven't grasped it yet. So, I think most of this thread is an endless cycle of misunderstandings arguments. Personally, I don't want to argue with anyone here.
  2. Man, all the stratagems that humans use to get what they want are astounding.
  3. @Barbara @DefinitelyNotARobot Nice take on it, guys.
  4. That is the assertive way to go about it. Very good take on it, @Eph75 @soos_mite_ah
  5. Interesting question, because I'm someone from a third-world country, and I have grew up on internet piracy. Thinking back, I feel as though it could have been possible to live without the theft and my consciousness could have been fine, but still I have to admit that doing it helped me a lot in so many ways. On the other hand, of course, it didn't help the people whom I was stealing from, whom I very much empathised with. So, understandably. I'm really torn about this subject considering my history with it.
  6. @Preety_India You didn't get the analogy, it's okay, I admit it's a little abstract. Let me be more specific, I think it's all a matter of bias and perspective. You getting attracted to "highly intellectual men" is your bias, because the core characteristics of the men you're attracted to fits your value system. In the end, "What do you mean by an intelligent person?". We all label things due to our survival mechanisms. So to answer your question "Is it good or bad?": Good and bad are relative concepts, and you are the only one who can know whether these types of men are good for you or not. You see, I can't answer your question from your perspective because I don't know your core values (and I'm not trying to), but you know your values, and that's how you feel attracted to a certain breed and that's how you can judge whether these types are healthy for you or not.
  7. "I read a theory once, that the human intellect is like peacock feathers, just an extravagant display intended to attract a mate. All of our literature, a bit of Mozart, William Shakespeare, Michelangelo, and the Empire State Building, is just an elaborate mating ritual. Maybe it doesn't matter that we have accomplished so much for the basest of reasons. But of course, the peacock can barely fly, it lives in the dirt, pecking insects out of the muck, consoling itself with its great beauty" You'll understand the quote if you look at it from a symbolic, poetic and a philosophical sense. @Preety_India
  8. Your question, @Preety_India, reminds me of this quote from Dr. Ford (Westworld Season 1): It is timestamped, stop at 1:05:45
  9. Personally, I think the man is owed some more rest. But I get your perspective too.
  10. It depends upon the environment and community you're living in on the spiral, your personality and temperament. Personally, I keep my thoughts private based upon the latter factors.
  11. @Leo Gura That confuses me greatly, because if there were preparations, why didn't the Americans Surveillance Agencies forecast and kill this coup in its crib before it got outta control?
  12. You are correct. Personally, I do need to develop my consciousness to look at the big picture and be impartial from both sides. It's easier for me to watch the games transpire from above.
  13. After a long Politics Abstinence, there's nothing like American Politics to let me re-dive into the political wormhole again. I swear to god, I have no interest in politics, but this is just mind-blowing.
  14. Greetings @Leo Gura, About two months ago you wrote, in the 'Deconstructing The Myth Of Science - Part 1', that you're open to the idea of holding a live Q&A in which someone who is interested about your point of view of Science, asks you a series of questions to inquire more about their assertions of the scientific realm and community. Are you still considering the idea of a Live Q&A in the future? also, are you taking ample time to try and find someone eligible for such an occasion because you don't want "Debate Trolls" & publicity stunt-people? Has the search for that individual(s) started or are you reconsidering the idea on account of it being risky to making it privately held and then releasing it if it's fitting to your standards? Thanks Leo.
  15. Thanks for the elaboration, the concept was a bit hazy and in need of more examples. @Leo Gura
  16. They're all magnificent. Though, I really enjoy this video & I usually watch it multiple times.
