  1. we are also the universe so if we care the universe does care in some way
  2. world trade center 7? if so that's apparently correct
  3. He also campaigned a lot on this "bring the troops home" sentiment. Do you think it's a good or bad thing? Personally i think it's good, the world police status of the US can't be maintained. 800 US bases around the world seems a bit excessive
  4. The CEOs ask him questions, they talk about the future etc. I think it's a pretty interesting talk. Elon Musk is building a Tesla Giga Factory near Berlin.
  5. nope why do you think so? also i really don't care if he was
  6. nope, sam harris and the weinstein brothers have jewish heritage in this "intellectual dark web"avengers group
  7. my superpower is being able to eat a lot of cheese in one sitting i can also drink a lot
  8. Also one thing i don't really understand with Hitler is why did send his troops to Russia (in winter at that) and declare war to the US. This was basically suicide for Germany. If Germany at that time had a leader which was (just a little bit) more sensible they would probably be a lot bigger in terms of landmass and also more powerful and influential now.
  9. Gandhi vs MLK another classic Naan (non) violence also Trump and Hillary is vicious one of the best beats of ERB imo
  10. It's a very old topic but i think those battles are great, creative, funny, well made, well rapped here's one which i really like, especially when Walt Disney comes in also the western vs. eastern philosophers is one of my faves @Natasha
  11. ^^i heard that (phenomena) many times though and have also seen it just took the first video which fitted the description didn't even really watch to it hmm who is the most attractive person in the world? clearly jessica alba or natalie portman jk
  12. funny this topic is an example of "women say they want nice guys, then go for badboys" although there is a difference in "nice guy" and "good guy" but that badboy killer does have some pretty nice eyes
  13. let's say there is a small country like sweden (10million people) which wasn't built on immigration like lets say the us or australia. let's say that country is very progressive on womens rights, has a very good social system from tax payers money and so on and so on. let's say 1 billion people of people from third world countries would like to go there let's say mostly men who don't care much about womens rights, come from extremely patriarchal, low spiral survivalist societies etc. make their way to sweden. you don't see how this could cause some huge issues and problems?
  14. That does sound great and very important on paper. If that's what they're doing, i'm for it. And stop the infinite growth thing for stock holders etc. as a lot of the world and sea etc. is already ruined. Although it's a bit scary that we're at the mercy of those ultra rich and influential people. If they're trying to trick us we'll dust the guillotines off chop chop choppidy chop
  15. seems like you're a fan of the ever expanding war machine and i'm not, you think it's doing good, i'm not you think it's solving problems, i'm not also your name is it in love for the us army helicopters or the chicago team? it's funny theres the us war movie "blackhawk down" which is actually about the war in somalia which fits perfectly with this topic and your name but we're going in circles here, so i'm leaving it at that goodbye sir
  16. so then you can never leave those places and you have to go into a lot more countries too and up your presence in a lot of places like yemen, lebanon, iran, turkey, east african countries, some asian countries etc.. there will be millions of civilians children etc. killed by your army and its allies good luck the war tactic seemed to work in places like germany, japan, s. korea, vietnam those places are now peaceful, integrated into the global economy and buy a lot of US goods etc. but maybe the tactic just doesn't work in places with muslim ideology or maybe they're just doing it wrong
  17. "one persons terrorist is another's freedom fighter" the us used to support terrorists in some countries like afghanistan, they just called them freedom fighters. we'll never agree on this subject probably iraq still remains extremely unstable after all those years and afghanistan too you can't safe the world, actually you're making many places much worse maybe in some glorious future we'll have something like the UN just much better (higher on the spiral) with lots of checks and balances, troops from all continents and "great leadership" who are bringing stability to such regions and act like some "world police" it's not the us though imo they have too much self interest (understandably)
  18. "Answer From Francisco Lopez-Jimenez, M.D. Chicken eggs are an affordable source of protein and other nutrients. They're also naturally high in cholesterol. But the cholesterol in eggs doesn't seem to raise cholesterol levels the way other cholesterol-containing foods do, such as trans fats and saturated fats." https://www.mayoclinic.org/diseases-conditions/high-blood-cholesterol/expert-answers/cholesterol/faq-20058468 personally i'm not a huge fan of eggs but i think i function generally better with more protein, especially in the morning, less anxiety etc.
  19. listened to this yesterday, it was great. I think i should go and listen to some of the older episodes but not totally sure which ones. this one was great too
  20. you're not making sense, these cops are from my country not from the US. and they're mostly just giving tickets to people who park on the wrong spot. I get it, the US is in a very tough position, they're entangled in so many conflicts around the world that it's very hard to get out of. If they pull out they might lose dominance, it's bad for business, it could create a vacuum, others could seize the opportunity, they could lose allies, make enemies, weapons companies wouldn't want it etc. I'm not envious of the people who have to try to get the US out of those conflicts but imo it's very necessary It was mostly the expansionist war machine who maneuvered the US into those conflicts so i'm also not pitying them either. Being thee superpower isn't easy. From my POV i'd also prefer the US to be the superpower for my life and lifestyle instead of let's say a Russia/China alliance but i don't think it's maintainable and i think the US needs to pull back from a lot of places ASAP and maybe focus on some core places.
  21. yea totally disagree in my country we aren't in an "endless war", imo that's dumb 'murican rhetoric like "war on drugs" "war on terror" you probably were also in favour of the war on drugs, iraq war and drone strikes which have mostly civilians as casualties, "because experts (who aren't trump loyals) say that it isn't a bad thing." there will never be the "right" moment to pull the troops out, there will always be something. the war machine wants to keep on warring and if possible expand and grow, conflict is good for business and it doesn't want to shrink i'm not saying it's always wrong to intervene but it's really hard to tell when it is and isn't, many conflicts etc. have been made much worse with intervention. get the troops out, go home
  22. Nicee i'm not a huge poem guy but this was beautiful
  23. cool list thanks since you had magic(k)al in the title i also thought of this movie, which i like
  24. Obviously you can but is it much harder to "evolve spiritually" when you work and or study a lot? Or does it depend on the field etc., do you have some hacks to stay present while doing a lot of work or learning? I had a lot of time during this pandemic and i think that's the main reason which brought me back to spirituality, just having the time to try things, read some books etc. But it looks like it can't be like that forever and i'm going to and have to do quite a lot of working and studying to do in the soon-ish future. With spirituality here i mean mostly staying present, doing the work, having insights, reading books watching videos on the subject to a lesser degree etc.
  25. i might actually be required to take it pretty early on for work. was actually hoping to delay it and see what happens to the early vaccine takers, oh well.
