it could work in a democracy with many checks and balances where the people have a great education and the politicians are not very egoistic but they're honest and empathic but that seem too utopian -

yea but then there could still come a psychopath or tyrant etc. after him/her like when you have a mostly smart "good" king and then his son is a crazy spoiled lunatic -

yea i think if we have some type of one world government, we need some type of benevolent A.I. at the helm because humans and the human ego will be corrupted eventually -

do you think xi will be overthrown? don't think so especially with mass surveillance etc. and soon all this tech will be everywhere if a tyrant is ruling there's almost no way then to do anything about it -

90% because of hollywood movies and cartoons i was the same way as a kid then later as a teenager i visited the US and was shocked by the poverty and homeless etc. still a nice place, don't get me wrong i think in the US the highs are higher and the lows are lower compared to western Europe also what do you mean "young people don't want to live there" ?? -

but they were the only country which did drop nukes on another country (killing children, women and all) started wars based on lies agent orange bombing weddings with drones toppled democratically elected governments and supported right wing dictators supported mass killings (for example in indonesia) the list is endless and all of this since ww2 not a huge fan of Germany btw. and think they hold far too much power in the EU but really don't think they'll start a ww, 70 yrs is a long time ago but i guess you weren't fully being serious anyways they are "tame" now imo -

because in todays world you can get bullied by the big guys if you're small and insignificant also it makes many things easier like travelling, business etc. although there are also some issues with it sure -
huh isn't modi (who's pretty nationalistic) the leader of that nation

not really the EU has 450 million people while France and Germany together only have about 150 million but sure France has the strongest army in the EU and Germany the strongest economy -

I'm sure they are and i'm not saying your theory wouldn't be interesting Christianity too though Orthodox/Catholic/Protestant/Armenian etc. they're very different there used to be wars between Catholics and Protestants a few hundred years ago in Europe i think the differences in Christianity just seem less now because religion is much less important for example in Europe now than it used to be, most people don't really care -
PurpleTree replied to Someone here's topic in Society, Politics, Government, Environment, Current Events
that's the same with all religions though it's always, religions/ideology mixed with cultures and other things -
well interesting 100 in one day is a lot i also get tense and clumsy sometimes with social anxiety maybe you overdid it a bit, sometimes less is more, but sometimes more is more so who knows

tried to read the quran once but stopped after a while found it kind of boring and repetitive but i've stopped reading many books after a while, might just be my add -
i'm not sure if you need it, maybe you need nothing. Although maybe it would be great to have change and accountability partners etc.

you literally have an ignore user function so it's pretty easy

There is beauty in Islam (obviously) i like many of the mosques, especially the ones in Iran i love looks so trippy, hope to see them in person someday i like Rumi, maybe will learn more about Sufism some day on the other hand i think it's holding many people back, just very backwards ideology in many places, still killing women, gays etc. also terrorism in Europe and other places, many muslim immigrants imo aren't really trying to integrate in Europe, they have a lot of children and not the means to provide them a good life imo this is the dumbest argument imo we're all living in the same time on the same world. you could also now create a religion that would be more evolved than Christianity, Islam etc. you wouldn't have to wait 1500 years until it catches up with Islam and Christianity just because it's younger. -
The term is thrown around so much. Do you use the term? What's your definition of an anti-vaxxer? do you hate them?

I thought of Kazakhstan as non democratic but a stable country. https://www.worldnomads.com/travel-safety/central-asia/kazakhstan/crime-in-kazakhstan "In the 2020 Global Peace Index, Kazakhstan ranks 70 out of 163 countries when it comes to safety and peace in the country. In Russia and Eurasia overall, Kazakhstan ranks #1 in peacefulness out of 12 countries in the region." Also the prosperity increased a lot over the last decades because of oil and gas with a decent gdp per capita But apparently things are spiralling out of control right now, with protests, killings and now Russia sending "peace" troops. https://edition.cnn.com/2022/01/06/asia/kazakhstan-almaty-protests-explainer-intl-hnk/index.html "(CNN)Violent protests in Kazakhstan in recent days have seen the government resign and the declaration of a state of emergency as troops from a Russian-led military alliance head to the Central Asian country to help quell the unrest." Is the perceived stability that we have in western Europe for example also very fragile or pretty stable and a huge achievement?
