  3. "The Third Position is a set of neo-fascist political ideologies that were first described in Western Europe following the Second World War. Developed in the context of the Cold War, it developed its name through the claim that it represented a third position between the capitalism of the Western Bloc and the communism of the Eastern Bloc." https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Third_Position not supporting it btw but the name suggest it's the "3rd option"

  8. something has to change for sure it's like a stalemate between the parties (which are already sh*t) and many things can't really get passed everything becomes partisan and polarised. and since the u.s. is leading the "west" in many things, sometimes for better sometimes for worse, the u.s. is dragging the west down with them imo. i found this discussion kind of cute even though they agree on nothing basically. one has these lofty thoughts and the other one tries to be more realistic. infrared is saying that a 3rd party which isn't influenced by lobbies etc. so much is the only chance americans have for democracy and i don't disagree with him but who's to know
  9. i know someone from honduras he told me when he was young it was pretty safe-ish there, people used to party on the street etc. but then corrupt politicians after corrupt politicians happened, more drugs and gangs came and human lives became less worth. because now also the criminals were on drugs a lot and just shot people now people who can afford it live in gated communities, most of his relatives got robbed multiple times at gun point
  10. did you change your diet beforehand? i don't think it's a great idea to make an aya banana soy milk smoothie. "Foods to Avoid Before Drinking Ayahuasca If your current diet consists of sugary drinks and fast food, there will be a lot you will want to cut out. If you mainly stick to an eating regimen of plant-based, whole foods, then the dieta will be less of a change from your norm. Essentially, the idea is to stick to clean, nutrient-dense, non-processed food and drinks as much as possible. Avoid red meat, pork, spicy foods, caffeine, alcohol, dairy, and excess sugar and salt for at least three days, but ideally up to two weeks, before the ceremony. It is also necessary to avoid foods or drinks that contain tyramine, which is found in aged cheeses, yeast, fermented foods (like sauerkraut, kombucha, soy sauce, or tofu), yogurt, some nutritional supplements, and excess amounts of chocolate and peanuts. In the few days before the ceremony, it is often also advised to avoid strong flavors like garlic and onion, excessive oil, and overripe fruits. The reason it is important to avoid drinks and foods rich in tyramine is that the ayahuasca vine contains a monoamine oxidase inhibitor (MAOI). MAOIs prevent the breakdown of tyramine, which is an amino acid. This combination of foods and brew could create a challenge for the body to process, potentially increasing the chances of a nasty headache, increased blood pressure, or increased nausea So, what can you eat? Unfortunately, the blander, the better with the ayahuasca diet. A healthy diet before the ceremony consists of lots of fresh fruits and vegetables, whole grains (like rice, quinoa, and oats), and legumes (like beans, lentils, and peas). While cooking, be sparing with oil (olive or coconut are preferred), salt, spices, and sugar. And on the day of the ceremony itself, keep things light and plant-based, and drink only water or herbal tea. While you may not want to go into the ceremony with a completely empty stomach (as you will likely need that energy later in the night), avoid loading up on heavy animal products. Fruits, vegetables, and some easily digestible carbohydrates are good choices. It is also important to stop eating at least four hours before you are to drink the brew. Substances to Stay Away From As well as the foods outlined, it is important to refrain from taking any recreational drugs and some medications during the weeks prior to the ceremony. It is important to consult with your retreat leader beforehand to go over any possible prescription interactions. Most retreat centers advise the discontinuation of selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors (SSRIs) for at least six weeks before the experience. Combining SSRIs with ayahuasca can induce serotonin syndrome, with potentially fatal effects. Other MAO inhibiting medications (see full list below) should also be discontinued for at least six weeks." https://psychable.com/ayahuasca/the-ayahuasca-diet-what-is-it-and-why-do-it/
  11. did you cook and drink the stuff alone or did you go to a ceremony?
  12. sorry to hear that maybe they turned bad
  13. i've also wondered that, been to asian countries quite often but never to subsaharan africa or latin america so i can't make a fair comparison. seems like there are many reasons maybe more guns and resources in those places, also in many african countries there's a battle between muslim extremists and others. i think the phillippines are one of the asian countries with the most violence and crime, they were a colony for a long time and also are battling with muslim extremists and drug/gang issues

  20. Thanks guys, great answers and something to ponder about A few examples would be: For example walking on a narrow sidewalk and for example a woman is going to pass me, then i might feel uncomfortable that she might feel uncomfortable. Or for example i'm looking at someone could be in public transport etc. could be a woman, an anxious guy, a black person, a tourist or whatever, then i might think if i look at them they'll feel judged or whatever and then feel uncomfortable. Or there is a woman in public transport next to me for example and we road the pt for like 15 minutes and seen each other, then she presses the button to stop at the same stop i should get out, then i might think if i go out now too she might feel uncomfortable and feel "stalked" or whatever, i might even go to the next station to avoid that (those stations are short anyway and i'm between two stations so it doesn't really matter which one i take) with dating stuff, approaching could make her uncomfortable. but especially making it sexual i fear might make her uncomfortable because it puts her on the spot, so then i often avoid doing that and wait until she makes it sexual which obviously also isn't great.
  21. i just try to "heal" myself if that's successful then i also have some other ideas for doing "good"
  22. Ok thanks. Do you think getting triggered also has something to do with which stage you are. Like a lower stage is getting triggered more easily because they're defending an ideology or feel attacked. Or could stage yellow also be getting triggered the same and it has more to do with personality etc. than with an sp stage.
  23. do other stages not do that or much less frequently?
