Of course, hundreds of illusions. Nothing is what it seems in human reality. You go through life thinking you're smart and understand everything, and then at some point you realize you're more naive than a 5-year-old, and that all you see are projections of your own naive mind. Then the hardware of reality begins to reveal itself, and the masks fall away. -

An illusion is something you perceive in one way, but due to the superficiality of your perception, it's another. For example, you perceive your girlfriend as sincere and honest, but that's because you don't see beyond appearances, when in reality, she's a professional con artist that lies in everything. -

The realization of no-self does not mean that the self does not exist, but rather that reality appears as a perceiving self. All of this is the flow of reality taking the form of a static center that receives a perception. Both that center and the perception are dynamic forms of the flow of reality. The external and the internal blend, and the center ceases to be the center. Limits dissolve, and you are one with the flow, or rather, you are the flow. Then your nature manifests; it is limitless, absolute potential. You recognize yourself as what you always are. What recognizes is the self, or the reality in the form of the self. Without self, there is no recognition, no God realization, or anything that remains recorded. -

Then none of you can answer the question because you need to believe that the self is an illusion. -

You can call it real or unreal or whatever, but the question was if you would suffer if your 5 years old kid is tortured in front of you or not. If the question is yes, why? -

But there are real neurological pathways. For example, imagine you have a 4-year-old son and he's tortured in front of you. Could you choose what to feel, whether to suffer or not? -

Really you believe that? Well, many does. You will see that it's deeper than an habit. This spirituality never works, because deny the human nature as illusion. Sounds seductive and simple, but things are not simple -

It's the spirituality that assume that the self is just a thought. The thoughts are a manifestation of the self. The self is a real energetic structure with genetic foundations that develops throughout life. Since I was about 8 years old, I realized I had to overcome my fear and strive for openness. I've acted accordingly as much as possible, so I more or less understand how it works. -

Ok ok , reality is nothing , it's a dream and nobody is dreaming then the dream is not😭 -

Dreams means nothing, it's just an idea. Seems that for you its necessary being nihilistic -

It's not where you ve been, it's how deep is your perception now. The difference is radical . It's the difference between living focused on a point, thinking that point is everything, like a donkey with a carrot, or expanding your angle of perception to 360°, adding the dimension of unlimited depth and perceiving the living flow of each moment. It's a total evolutionary step. -

You clearly perceive that reality is limitless , Reality is total freedom and you are that, you always have been and it's absolutely obvious, but at the same time reality is a process, it is interconnected fluid change, then you realize that the self is a form that the flow of reality takes and that it has continuity, nothing has limits, therefore death is not a limit for the self, everything has an energetic imprint, and the complexity and depth of the self are enormous. Ultimately you could say that it means nothing, but locally it does, therefore it is essential to align that self with the flow to the maximum, to delve into it by breaking through the superficial layer. The beauty of the self is enormous, it is a hyper-complex construction, full of nuances, alive, that evolves every second and that is connected to the totality of existence. Life stops being boring and empty shit and becomes full of meaning, vital, vibrant, powerful. -

Yes, because the self is a reality. But the self can open it's perspective for a while and realize it's nature, be one with the flow and become unlimited, then the self see what it is, what the reality is, and can align itself with the flow more and more. Getting stuck in ideas like the reality is this or that is meaningless, try the real thing. Ok the reality is nothing, then, collapse the duality, be one with the unlimited, you will see. -
Breakingthewall replied to James123's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
Those are just relative ideas that the self formulates . Have meaning just from the perspective of the self . The point is not defining the reality, is collapsing the duality. It's an energetic shift, something that you do, not that you know -
Breakingthewall replied to James123's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
It's not an illusion, it's a change of perspective, the collapse of duality. This doesn't mean that the self doesn't exist, it exists, but it's like a splitting of the flow occurs, creating a duality. This duality is real, but it's within the flow itself. You are the flow in the sense that you are reality, but you are also the self in this specific configuration. You can call it illusion or anything but why? The point is collapsing the duality to be limitless, then be limited again. This shift makes the self relativize it's reality and be able to align itself with the flow. Saying that the flow is imaginary is something that the self says, another limit -

Ok then. For me, what works in meditation is, first, erase meaning. Nothing means anything. Second, equalize yourself with the flow, with the becoming, with the movement that occurs. You are not the observer, you are the movement. At a given moment, the shift occurs, and limits disappear. It's quite simple. -

The witness who observes and lovingly lets thoughts pass is a dual limit. -

The thing is, the one who realizes infinite love and all that is the self. If the self collapses and you are one with the flow, and total openness manifests, you are unlimited. The self translates this into infinite love, or whatever -

Ok that's true but that's only the superficial layer of the self. If I educate a kid in fear and doubt, for example, the fear and doubt settle within him; he is that, it merge with his body. They are in his posture, in his gaze, in every micro-movement he makes; every time he speaks, in his voice, intonation, rhythm, there is fear and doubt. It's energetically inscribed in their being. So, if that kid, as an adult, manages to stop thinking with meditation techniques, he will be silent, but fear and doubt will continue to exist in his energetic system. As soon as a psychological process begins, for example, a girl on the bus says "hello" to him, a vibration of fear and doubt will occur in him; he will be his nature, without the need for thought or identification. -

No self means that there is not a chair, it's just the flow, If there is a chair, there is self, and there is not experience because it implies experiencer, it's just reality flowing I'd like to watch that video. -

I think it's obvious what it is, but who knows, maybe I'm wrong. It is a relational flow of infinite perspectives, reflections, fluctuations, or contrasts of the unlimited within itself. It is an inevitable unfolding that occurs because it is not contained or limited. It is composed of synchronous, that is, possible, dynamic relationships. Anything that appears is composed of infinite synchronous relationships or relative changes and appears because it can appear, because the totality of the relational flow allows for that possibility. -

No self means that the perceptor and the perception are just the form of the flow, doesn't mean that the self dissapear. It is real, as a form in the flow. Btw, it's not the final step. When the flow is without separation, it's nature can manifest. It's opensess without limit, and in that openess the nature of the reality manifests: total, absolute potential. More than potential, totality. The end of the lack, absolute fullness. -
Breakingthewall replied to MaskedFool's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
But it's not a dream because no one is dreaming it, nor is there anything more real to compare it to. It's simply the reality. It's movement is it's will, its relationship are it's intelligence. It's not that the intelligence is creating it, it is the intelligence. the movement itself is the will. The separation is zero, it's not a creator because the flow is the creator and the creation -

What observer, if there is no self? Everything is changing, endless becoming. If you like call it illusory ok, but it's changing always without end, then it's caused by infinite (imaginary) causes and is effect of infinite possibilities. If you call them imaginary ok, but they are. It's exactly the same than real -
Breakingthewall replied to MaskedFool's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
Let me explain it more simply. Reality is unlimited, and therefore infinite relationships and perspectives occur. They never began, nor do they have an end or limit. Therefore, the flow of reality has infinite causes and infinite possibilities. It is interconnected with infinite relationships, and is what we could call "everything." You could say that the substance that relates is not something, but it doesn't matter; the fact of relating, reflecting, is something, is everything, and it's rised to infinity power
