Breakingthewall replied to Javfly33's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
I guess he said that for two reasons. first because it is somehow true. only direct experience is real. you cannot get out of your direct experience, therefore your direct experience is absolute. and second, because understanding this intellectually helps liberation since it creates a mental configuration of unity, against the common idea of seeing yourself as a part of something larger and alien to you. if you want to prepare the ground for the total dissolution of the ego, realizing that others are only a component of your direct experience, which is the absolute, helps a lot in the detachment that is needed -

The reality is that we know little about the mechanics of infinity. It would be said that infinity is relative and absolute at the same time. that is the incomprehensible paradox. so leo's video on solipsism is right and wrong at the same time -

yeah, ronaldo is the will, the strength. messi the talent. similar to nadal vs federer. In the end the will wins. The unwavering tenacity that never ceases creates the purest diamond, since the talent created by work and erosion is joined by absolute faith in oneself, in the ability to bend reality with will. -

well, but many people listen to leo and he is a pioneer in explaining these matters, and as @michaelcycle00 says, in the solipsism video it is clearly and unambiguously explained: your pov is the absolute. nothing exists outside of your pov. and that's it. Let's see, explaining this from your pov to another pov already includes a nuance in the explanation, right? I'm sure it can be explained more accurately. that explanation is insufficient. And if you rebut, the answer is: you're asleep, wake up and you'll understand... and then parrots appear around saying that they understand because they need the qualification: awake. Are we trying to go deep and understand, or clowning around and sticking out our chests like high school peacocks? I wonder sometimes. enough with that bullshit imo. honesty and go ahead. -

Let's see, if at any moment you realize the infinite, that reality is an infinite mind creating this appearance, the logical consequence that follows is that there can be nothing outside of it, because the infinity has not outside, by definition. Besides, it's obvious that for you your pov is absolute. you can't get out of your pov. it is impossible. your pov is all there is. anything else you imagine exists is just an idea within your pov. Leo talking about psychedelics is just one more note in your pov. What I believe (and this is only a belief within my pov) is that everything inside my pov has its own pov since infinity has the ability to divide itself infinitely many times while always being the same infinity. this is not understandable from an apparently finite pov, like any other feature of infinity. but this is just my belief, which I can't prove -

the god pov is the human pov. reality is an infinite mind that is creating layers and layers of reality to manifest this exact present moment, and there can be nothing outside of it. I have seen it with absolute clarity. without going any further, yesterday. it is incomprehensible madness. cannot be understood literally. It's like understanding the seventh dimension being a three-dimensional being. you can not. -
Breakingthewall replied to Javfly33's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
really, my pov is absolute in the sense that i can never experience anything other than my pov. If I experience your pov, it will become my pov. If I simultaneously experience infinite povs, this will be my pov. so, outside of my pov there is nothing. there can't be! If there was, it would be my pov. but inside my pov, is the idea of your pov. it is just an idea, a perception within all my perceptions. Does this mean that your pov is not real? No, it just means that for me, your pov is an idea, nothing more. I really believe that it is real, that there is an experience like mine behind your face, but all this is just ideas, constructions inside my pov. what is real is the present moment. your pov is just an element within that present. impossible to verify. What means that? I don't know. And really i shouldn't care. The present moment is, and that's it -
many people have an ego that suffers and seeks solutions. few can function truly independently. Mostly need a guide for everything, well-trodden paths. These people go to a shaman to solve their lives by giving them a magic pill. Obviously this doesn't work, it's very childish to think like that. then they need to go through life with the gallons of enlightenment, which is becoming the new fashion in some circles . What is cooler than being enlightened? something so difficult, that only one in 25 million can! better than being a millionaire! They go to Vipassana, bufo, everything , but nothing is achieved. Until you take responsibility for your life, you'll just walk in circles.

it is an incomprehensible matter. reality is your direct experience. there's no more. infinity is creating layers and layers of perception building this fluid now. It is not that behind this appearance is the infinite, it is that it is the infinite. with a strong enough 5 meo hit you can see how the layers refer until there is nothing left, the limitless. It is the same as now only removing the appearance of something limited. and yet....the other beings that appear in your pov seem to have their own pov outside of yours. They have it and they don't, just like your pov is static and at the same time changing. there is something I am missing in this. Leo, when he talks about solipsism he doesn't speak clearly either. does he really understand? it's understandable? he says, your pov is absolute, outside of your pov there is nothing. If I tell you: only your pov exists, saying that from my pov... what the hell am I trying to express? -

beliefs, concepts, ideas, attachments, rejections, are the constituent elements of stupidity. Eliminate stupidity and intelligence remains. but it is not that simple since the mind needs that stupidity to maintain some balance. only minds that have been filled can be emptied -

give thanks to that shit, it can be your passport to freedom. when you can't live with yourself is when you have to look for serious solutions. deconstruct, break the energy barriers that constitute you. If you do serious work, in two years it will seem incredible to look back and see the level of suffering in which you lived -

I think its normal. if your ego is dense you can only think in terms of duality and separation. Logically you can intuit that reality is supernatural, and give credit to some religion that resonates with you or in which you have been educated. you can intuit its truth but you can only think in terms of cause effect, creator creation, etc. so god necessarily has to be something separate from you I think that people who adopt the belief that I am God without having experienced it are just as childish. -
Breakingthewall replied to axiom's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
but on the other hand, reality is mind. then consciousness is not all bad. reality is mind forming this appearance. and that mind is your mind. here's the point. then, the perfect definition of reality would be: you -

Consciousness is just a word that spiritual writers have used to replace the word god, since it has too many connotations of traditional religions, and the reader would be confused. but I think it is not a lucky decision. many people of the new era have adopted it ."The consciousness" they say, making a devout gesture, since they have read adyashanti that says nothing more than vagueness. Consciousness is that, a vague term, which loosely means the act of being aware of something. reality is not that, reality is reality, and that's it. the word reality is much better because encompasses everything , and it's true that God evokes the traditional god too much -

I think it is necessary to clearly distinguish between a relative pov and an absolute one. from the relative, they are part of the history of humanity, in which there is an energy of search for the absolute, which seems to be evolving towards the understanding of reality. we are part of it (well, leo over all). from the absolute point of view, they are simply nothing, just stories of the mind. Nothing ever happened, there is only this infinite moment, there is no path to anywhere. I don't think you can mix the two. or you are in one, or in another ... although maybe I'm wrong -
Breakingthewall replied to Strannik's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
infinity is not something you can understand or conceptualize, so better not try. What you say is valid as well as saying that nothing has ever happened or will happen, or that all of infinity is reduced to this exact moment that lasts infinitely, but that appears to pass. thinking about it doesn't make sense. what you have to do is open your heart to infinity, because it is what you are and when you do, the prodigal son will have returned. For this, the fundamental thing is to want to do it, and then, to do it -

consciousness suggests the ability to be aware of something. For me it is a very ambiguous term, which suggests an action. perceive something. before the perception there must have been the perceived. to indicate that it is reality, we can say infinity, or infinite potentiality. the infinite is conscious of itself, but it is not consciousness primarily, it is infinite, and for being so it is consciousness, intelligence, total power -

Not to do and stay in the illusion of the ego leads to suffering, and as life progresses, more suffering. dissolving the ego leads to joy, freedom and total glory. so the reason to do it is not to be stupid -

from an absolute point of view, only now exists. This means that your birth, deep sleep, and everything else, are just things that you are imagining right now. Just histories. It's like an infinity trick to make it look like something is happening. what happens is that what seems to be happening is the same as what is happening, since a relative pov. it seems that infinity is a trick artist . but leaves clues to be discovered. But same time, if you discover something means that you always had been discovered...a mess impossible to understand. So the best option imo is to focus in the now and forget any concept and history because all of them are false by definition. The truth is the empty now -
Breakingthewall replied to kylan11's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
It is inevitable to make those mental processes, but you have to realize that these processes are within the present. if you penetrate to the bottom of the present, with psychedelics, meditation... you realize the infinite, as you say in your first post. that is the absolute, the glory, the actual reality, the potential void in which you recognize yourself. there is nothing else to know imo. if reality is infinity, anything will be equal to anything else, which means that any semblance of definition is only apparent. how, why? interesting questions. is it possible to understand them? I guess so. in the void is total understanding. but then can it be translated into mind language? I don't know, maybe not because the logical mind works in another dimension, but who knows. For example, an answer from another dimension would be, if a thousand minds ask: are there other minds, or only mine. that the answer is: only yours, referring to the thousand minds, and that this is the only valid answer -
Breakingthewall replied to kylan11's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
Or put another way, infinity divided by x = infinity. but this is still a concept. reality is this, now, actual, and nothing else. concepts are concepts. It does not mean that they are false, only that they are concepts. one must distinguish between reality and concept, and then between true and false concept. reality is only one. it is the present moment. and concepts, both true and false, are within reality -
Breakingthewall replied to Razard86's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
That is the problem with your explanations. Awareness is just a word, not the absolute truth. You explain everything like squares and lines, and reality is curvy -

it seems that islam is establishing itself as the dominant religion in the blue stage areas, of which there are many. I suppose it is a religion that, due to its characteristics, fits well in blue. Christianity was also blue but fitting it in was a contortionist exercise since the texts say the exact opposite of the blue paradigm. Same with Buddhism. on the other hand, islam is blue from the beginning -

If you listened to Tom's thoughts, they would be your thoughts, right? in fact, tom is a thought in your mind. and psychedelics another, and absolutely everything. the question of whether tom really exists, is also just a thought in your mind. only this moment exists, and outside of that there is no existence. Or better, there is not outside, it's impossible. strange right? there can't be. As soon as you start to think: but if there are millions of other beings, what happens to them? this is just another idea in your mind. it's crazy. nothing exists, only direct experience. The rest are just ideas, knowledge. knowledge is nothing since it deals with non-existent things. of ideas without substance. understanding is everything, and is opposed to knowledge. understanding is empty, knowledge, full, but full of thoughts. unreality, illusion, nothing. Only in the void is understanding.
