Breakingthewall replied to Colin Williams's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
the problem with this type of character is not that it is difficult to deal with, it is the lie. towards himself above all. the guy is a genius and you just have to see the quality and the breadth of his content, but at a given moment, the virus of narcissism manifested itself more severely, and there was a detour, a wrong path. an apparently infinite but really limited vision. instead of an ever greater openness to existence, to life, a path of evasion, of addiction (or it seems so). but since we are talking about a genius, I would say that he will be able to correct the course . Life is long and give up is not an option. Yes, everyone talking about god, etc. just for having internalized ideas heard in the videos, going through life like ubermenchen surrounded by chimpanzees. Could it be more pathetic? is not easy -

solipsism is only true or false from the conceptual mind, which encapsulates reality, plots it, and classifies it. the difference between there are others or there are no others is a line. in reality there are no lines, it is liquid, not solid. if you get out of the conceptual mind, the question is meaningless. If you expand in the ocean of reality, it could be said that there is only you, but in you are all the others. -

Why war is worse than peace if life is basically war? Life wants war, needs war to evolve. preferring peace to war is human bias. life loves war -

Well, it may be as you said, but what emerges is: I'm better than you. It does not emerge: I am at an incredible point of consciousness and I want to take you to it. never something like: that's it, you're doing well, I had a difficult time at that stage but I did this and that. no, it's something like: you're a piece of shit. I'm better than you. what's that? a joke? a bully? a toxic guy? inspiration level = zero. At first actualized this seemed kind of generous, now it seems kind of greedy. everyone to adore leo, the most enlightened since homo sapiens appeared. what is this friend? a joke? Never anything constructive in the interaction. What happens with you? You look like a hedgehog full of spikes, a guy with the vital need to be better than the others (who do not exist), someone trapped, who does not flow but rather analyzes the flow, in short. who is not awake -

what it is step one of spirituality, is to abandon even temporarily the need to interpret and control. It has to be something complete, without keeping anything, otherwise it is impossible to take the final step and there is always separation. you can do 5meo or whatever if there is not that surrender of the self, there will be mental corruption. What you have said above is the need for constant control and interpretation, that is, fear of reality. It is normal to be afraid of the unknown, but if we want to do spiritual work, we have to let it go completely. Not easy of course. -

@itsadistraction there is another option: I see this like a circus or a movie, Id like to understand Leo because I like to understand the humans and the reality, and here we have an interesting case. -
Breakingthewall replied to Colin Williams's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Colin Williams yes, your feeling is interesting. It seems that Leo doesn't like being human. normal, the human is a pit of shit, dysfunctionality, violence and suffering. It seems that he would rather be at the top of his ivory tower than go down in the mud, but...it doesn't work. it is necessary to go down. Being human, having empathy, opening your heart to others. abandon the need to be so special. is a barrier. -
I don't know if it is possible to understand why reality is manifesting itself as it does. I only see possible to open you to what existence is. If you want to understand, you are not open anymore, at least me. But maybe it's possible. There are deeper levels.

Yes but illusion doesn't mean that it is false. It's difficult to see, I just have glimpses of what the illusion is. -

realizing that you are the reality. this does not mean that the others are not real. They are out of the equation, there are no others, real or unreal, you are the reality, existing -

I would say that existence is absolutely happy. It creates herself in a dance of love for itself and flows deeply in the perfect happiness but our mind by its nature makes us separate from it, and it finds several layers of tricks to maintain that separation. you have to be very subtle to see the subtle separations -

Women, by their nature, have a greater burden of fear than men. its nature tends to the affective, attachment, belonging, acceptance for the group. Few women can let go of the others. -

@tuku747 great post. I would say that the illusion is the mental construction. It is very difficult to get out of it, we have to be able to get out of it completely. if we want to enter higher states, the whole story, the energy that interprets, that moves between past and future, that searches, that grabs each moment of the experience and encapsulates it, to assemble the story that you are an individual advancing in a world, all that must disappear, move away. to allow reality to open up, now. Courage to release the grips, which makes reality solid for you, and make it liquid it s extremely difficult. at least for a while, you have to let go of your preferences, truly say: it doesn't matter what happens to me. I surrender. fuck, is to look into the abyss and throw yourself into it. drop yourself into nothing and dissapear. getting it for some seconds is a huge achievement -
Exactly, what an lsd trip is all about imo is getting you to stop judging and interpreting. The moment you see something as negative, you are judging. This is difficult, I have had LSD trips in which everything was images of torture, impalement, cruelty. This was because for me there was, and actually is, good on the one hand, which is goodness, honesty, loyalty, fun, beauty, etc., and on the other hand the bad: cruelty, betrayal, falsehood, pain, loneliness, isolation, boredom, ugliness, etc. if we want to enter mystical states we have to be able to transcend human preferences and the need of interpreting everything at least for a while, otherwise we are trapped in loops of suffering. It is not easy, but if you do not know that it is necessary, it is impossible.
-
@Jowblob to me your mistake is obvious, you take lsd trips to understand reality, see what god is, all that, when all you have to do is stop valuing things as good or bad, and flow. everything that is not flowing is ego, greed, desire to grasp reality. Forget knowing, just let it be. get yourself out of the way, and allow reality, that is, you, to be. then your problems and your worries will end and you will be free. it's pretty simple btw. You will know when you get it when you can do lsd and everything is dance, beauty, joy, freedom. That is reality, but you are there with your greed judging that everything is wrong.

Awakening to reality is Abandoning the dream of the conditioned mind, to begin with, and after that, going deeper into what reality is. If you have opened up to now, you will only want to open up more. And also be an alcoholic? impossible. no addiction. any addiction is a need to escape from the now. what you want is exactly the opposite, to merge with him now as much as possible. There are a lot of deceived people, maybe watts was one of them -

@Osaid What you call enlightenment is transcending the ego mind. self-referential, comparative, evaluative and limiting mental activity, and open yourself to the now and be the now. I think what you say is the most important part of the spiritual path, realizing reality, but not the end. enlightenment is more, and I say it only for glimpses. I can be in the state you speak of, and it is the end of self-inflicted mental suffering. Maybe I can be in this state without psychedelics for a month, after continuous spiritual work. But I know this is just the beginning. I can align with reality more perfectly, I can understand more deeply, I can open to the now more detachedly. And above all, I can realize the absolute and be the absolute in a total way. this is where you recognize yourself as existence and joy overflows -

It depends of the thought. Thinking clearly is essential to having a good life. thinking wrongly can take you to hell. Thinking is or main power. If you think that there is a guy who wants to kill you will have a physical reaction, because the root of the thinking activity is survival. You will be thinking non-stop until you find a solution. this is the human essence. The problem is if you think incongruent things, if you have repressed emotions and have a distorted subconscious that generates anxiety and looping thoughts. that is that you are thinking wrongly and you have to find the cause Thoughs are phenomena that appears is the experience, like everything else. We should understand what they are and use them properly. we are not the content of thought but we are the activity of thinking, like the activity of breathing. we must know when to detach from thoughts, when to immerse ourselves in the activity of thinking, and above all, how to think effectively to develop our potential -

conceptual knowledge is something very useful and it is what makes us live so well in houses, move in cars, cure diseases and all that, instead of being hungry and escaping from lions, but we have to learn to turn it completely off at will. if not, it becomes too prominent, traps you, completely contaminates the experience, filters it and makes it dead, ugly, sad, anxious. If we can to turn off that facet of the mind, the experience turns deep, coloured, magical, full of life. -

the thought is real as any other physical manifestation, and it's a great part of the experience. The thought is real and the mind is alive. What is the qualitative difference between a thought and an image projected by the retina in the brain? both are experience, both are a representation of reality. both have the function of survival and evolution. the mind will always think, the thing is to do it at the right frequency, understanding which are the activators of thought, its bases, and eliminating all the useless noise, the dysfunctional rubbish. the mind is a very complex piece of software, it needs deep understanding and proper maintenance -
Breakingthewall replied to Breakingthewall's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
the mind has to take a important step, switch to another frequency. looking within is not to analyze oneself but to break the conceptual bubble and open up to unlimited breadth, peek into the truth of existence and be one with it. Only in this way will the human being stop being a maladjusted and suffering entity, and will be able to reach his true potential. -

The human mind is the next step to physical evolution through the gene. All evolution is driven by competition, the struggle to survive. Through this struggle, life, which is the reality having an experience, passes from photosynthetic bacteria to elephants. Life competes against itself in a fight to the death, in which there is only one rule: survive. Anything is allowed. Killing is absolutely legitimate and desirable. It is the basis of life. The goal of life is to experiment, and the struggle gives the necessary drive for creation. Suffering and death are simply tools of creation. From this competition the gene grows in complexity creating magnificent designs, different experiences, but always limited by matter. Evolution is slow, each generation contributes its grain of sand. The human mind is life that has been freed from matter in a stroke of genius. The mind is life, its impulse, its evolutionary thrust is the same as that of life. But it is not limited, since it is not "something". The ego mind is the stream of thought that each individual constantly and uninterruptedly creates. This flow has the same bases as any other form of life, it is a survival tool. It distinguishes, like any form of life, between good/life and evil/death. Through language, the mind communicates with other minds, modifying each other and creating a common mind. like a cloned bacterium, ideas are cloned. If collaboration is adequate to promote survival, the idea that collaboration is desirable and individualism undesirable will be cloned and spread at great speed among the mental streams of individuals. This idea is supported by survival, so it has enormous force: the force of life. In harsh environments, the ideas that will develop will be rigidity, uniformity, loyalty to the group, individual sacrifice. In softer environments, ideas will soften. The evolution of the collective mind is fast since it is not limited and ideas with development potential are continuously disseminated, modifying the mental flows that receive them quickly. The human mind is ultimately the reality, and as such has the potential to fully comprehend reality, since it is the reality. Animals also have a mind, they are mind, experience, just like humans, but a mind tied to the physical, dominated by instincts, tied to the gene. The human mind has been released from the physical, it has freed itself and is an entity that evolves independently of the physical, that is why it has the ability to turn inward and see By default the human mind is completely focused on the evolving flux of though, as this is what it primarily exists for, to be a serial processor that receives, processes and transmits information to favour the survival. In certain cases, some units have the vital impulse due exceptional circumstances to stop the flow of thought that defines the exterior and favors adaptation to the environment and turn inward to look at themselves. This impulse, as most of impulses, is done by suffering and fear. The first step is to be able to remove the mind from the bubble created by the flow, which consumes most of its capacity, and to be able to focus. Establish itself in the now by eliminating the past and future, which are fundamental ideas for the structure of the mental flow, and thus be able to look at itself, into the unfathomable abyss within itself, which is the totality of existence, and understand it. The reason? Because the reality wants it, like everything else. -
Breakingthewall replied to Javfly33's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
Attachment to thought is something fundamental in the human being, it could be said that it is its essence. For thoughts to generate evolutionary movement, they must have an irresistible attachment base. There are thoughts that make thousands of men run in the direction of a trench full of machine guns, for example. The problem is that although this attachment to thought generates movement and strength, it is a source of suffering. it creates a living and real conceptual entity, only not tangible but real, and very unstable. unlike an animal, whose form has been tested for hundreds of thousands of years in contrast with it's environment, the form of the conceptual entity is always new, unstable, unadapted to a changing environment. this living conceptual entity (as alive as the body) suffers, and wants to stop suffering, to do so it seeks new ways. the ones we seek, the next evolutionary step in the very fast evolution of the mind -

Here and now is the absolute truth, the existence, but your experience makes it seem relative. you have to dismantle the illusion of temporality that the mind creates and immerse yourself in the now. and eventually, if you let go everything, the now will manifest for what it really is. obviously everything is the absolute truth, hence the word absolute, there is nothing else. the thing is to realize it the problem is the concept "experience", which implies a self experiencing something, and that is precisely the appearance, the illusion -
Breakingthewall replied to KatiesKarma's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@KatiesKarma your friend is smart. Here everyone confuses the absolute truth with experience, and the experience is the illusion, it's not false, it's relative. infinity is nothing, if it is something, it is because it is relative. absolute truth is beyond description, it is a revelation, nothing can be said about it. is the total void. Being the absolute void is the truth, and it is the liberation. but that empty sounds bad, like something negative. it's the other way around. it is empty because being infinite, it has no limits, it is everything, but it is nothing because can't be contrasted. To get to that, you have to get rid of all ideas about ultimate reality, and here there is a lot of corruption with God, love, that you hide from yourself because you don't want to be alone, that you play and imagine everything as a set for fool you, that you are a little pink pony, you, you, etc.
