  1. Ok, then in that case, emptiness would not be a good word, because consciousness is empty of existing as a thing.
  2. Well it isn’t grounded, so yeah I guess that would be a good word lol
  3. That’s obvious to me. I’m aware subject and object are interdependent and empty. You said in Ralston’s reality, truth is love, regardless of his perspective. In my view, any solution to a problem is not the truth, but simply an answer, to an unreal limitation.
  4. You seem to imply there is objective truth. I can’t see how one could ever know that. It seems one can directly contact ultimate truth; but objective truth? How can objective truth be known when anything objective is viewed subjectively? Objective truth seems to imply real self nature — and at this point, any notion of real self nature seems utterly absurd to me. Just thinking out loud.
  5. That guy (iameternallife) seems to have just been banned in like the past day anyway lol.
  6. Wouldn’t that be a disagreement about beliefs (or understanding) about isness?
  7. He’s almost certainly going through a manic phase, in my view. But the distinction between a manic phase and certain types of awakenings (especially kundalini) is a fine line.
  8. It really seems like there can be no stopping of what is. In sleep, in may seem like appearances stop for a bit, but really the appearance just gets very subtle. In cessation events during meditation, when there really is no appearance, that period of no appearance simply isn’t experienced — it is seen after the fact as a jump-forward in time, with absolutely no delay.
  9. I never had a following of people (certainly not online) to announce it to, but I’ve had awakenings like the one you’re seeing in him, like 6 times. They were legit.
  10. And iameternallife was a totally different individual
  11. @Eren Eeager Wait, I think you may have misunderstood me. Connor was NOT banned. Iameternallife was banned.
  12. The screen is only discernible by the pictures (all experience) on it. The screen is just an analogy; there’s no screen separate from the pictures on it. With that said, there’s an experience that you’re looking through your eyes, right? That there’s a subject? That’s an experience — a picture on the screen. Everything discernible is the self-luminous hologram/screen.
  13. @levani What does this me feel like, and how is it separate from the screen? If whatever has any feeling at all, must be part of the screen, how is the me that feels like something not part of the screen? And if the me doesn’t feel like anything, well there you go...
  14. There aren’t 2 things happening. Only one thing happening. Not one in relation to another though, so not even really one.
  15. No one has infinite intelligence. Whatever intelligence someone has is limited, by necessity. If x has y, then neither x nor y are everything, and infinite anything (intelligence included) is nothing short of everything.
  16. That’s “why“ ‘I‘ can’t die. If you know you’re dead, you’re not dead. If you don’t know you’re dead, you’re not dead.
  17. @Cosmin_Visan It’s just the way it is. It can’t be proven logically, only directly experienced, but for me it has been undeniable for some time that there is infinite intelligence. There is intelligence, and there is no ultimate outer-bound on reality — outside your imagination, of course.
  18. There’s only awareness, but there is no awareness. It’s always now, but it’s never now.
  19. Search trend-following strategies (works best with currencies, bonds, crypto, and metals) and mean-reversion strategies (works best with stocks and stock indices). And if you don’t have a good grasp of how the economy works, check out this 30min vid:
  20. Grandiose narcissism is a trait-construct that involves the inability to hear criticism and a commitment only to oneself. It is associated with Narcissistic Personality Disorder when expressed at a pathological level — one of the most dangerous personality disorders. Vulnerable narcissism is a trait-construct that involves the over-reaction to criticism and is usually a defense mechanism to protect low self esteem. It is associated with Borderline Personality Disorder when expressed at a pathological level.
  21. More like similar to the 3rd jhana. A very shallow facsimile of it, anyway.
