Something to consider is that when you deny me the death penalty, you subject me to a life sentence of misery despair bitterness and resentment for those of mine who were murdered. Meditation is the cheat code. You have to be serious and make it a life priority. Best to meditate before the world around you has arisen from bed, like 5am or earlier. For many years I slept at 7pm and sat at 3am and it paid off.

Every moment is either deepening illusions or dissolving illusions and everything your eyes show you is illusion. Meditation is a tool for dissolving illusions. The more dissolving, the less suffering, the better the life. This world is not important except as a path to transcend it.

Everyone here is complicit in uncountable murders carried out in their name by governments and their proxies. Your widespread murdering is an uncomfortable truth you rather ignore, for example wars fought under dubious pretences, economic sanctions that lead to mass suffering and starvation, the overlooking of exploitative labor practices, environmental policies resulting in deaths, healthcare systems that deny life-saving treatment to those deemed unfit.

Atheists are more open minded than theists. They think about stuff. Proceed accordingly. Besides, beliefs about and against God need no airing in public. I haven't spoken the G-word in public in years. If someone asks do I believe in God, I will ask them what they mean by the term and how does it influence their life. When they ask the question, they are more interested in speaking their views than hearing yours. I like an atheist. It is easy to persuade one that everyone has a god of some form or other. This can lead to fruitful conversations.

Anger is me getting more deeply stuck in this illusion and wanting to change it into a different illusion. My mission here is to leave the illusion and return to the truth. The truth means seeing each person as the perfect, innocent, divine creation they truly are and not the sinning body mind they are not.

God. Whenever I am angry, allow me to see I am damaged and broken by reacting thus. I am attempting to judge wrongness outside of myself. The wrongness is how I am reacting to the situation. Give me the power to let go such judgements. Everyone is doing what they can and what they must. I need to work on me; I don't need to fix or interfere with others. I simply need to heal me; that's my only task here. Then good things can arise since Your voice will then be heard from within and from without. I'd say the problem with Tony is he wants you for life. That's not a teacher, that's a master in need of more and more doting slaves. Notice how these people worship Tony. A good teacher wants you to be the next teacher and wants you to flea the coupe, rather than sign up for the next conference.

What can I let go of today to make myself more free? I can enjoy everything but I need nothing. All preferences are bondage. Every day I am more free.

The god of the bible is the ego's god who proclaims sin, suffering, separation real. Unfortunately the gospel Jesus couldn't speak the whole truth or he would have been stoned on day one. He told the inner circle the truth and that's best preserved in the gospel of thomas.

Good is knowing what's false and what's true and letting go of the former and living for the latter. The false is the material and the true is the spiritual. Thus when you see people, to see badness is false and to see goodness is true. Choose as you please.

The ego wants me as unhealthy as possible in body mind spirit. Then I do its bidding.

It's separation's last stand. Me against the world. Me making myself king of the universe. Most of us are egos and this is our path, I am answerable to nobody and I will do as I please, making sure that nobody knows how sinister and sick this all really is. Solipsism is the absolute truth to an ego. My ego is established as the one true god of all it surveys. And even better, no other ego can ever refute this most high most holy most electrifying awakening. Halleluiah!

Women have huge incentive to settle and settle down. Men are not special in finding these typical women. Men may come to this point of maturity too. Women are about a decade more mature than men in this regard. And if they want a family, they have to be. Be understanding. Be sincere. Be honest. Be kind. Be realistic.

Conflict is always how you see things and nothing to do with what others do. The key to dealing with conflict is having solid boundaries and being hyper selective who you allow access to you. If you have no say in the matter then label others as friend or foe and proceed accordingly. Friends get the authentic you and foes get bare presence and, as soon as business is conducted, polite withdrawal. Many people are not helpful for you and need to be kept away. Let others seek conflict but play no part in it. In this way, every day can be conflict free. This all reminds me of a quote: Before you think your life is a complete disaster, make sure you're not surrounded by assholes.

Good points. My take is to make any apparent enemy a valuable bestie. This needs to be sincere and concrete. Not just words but helpful actions. I want to be the best neighbor out there. When they go on vacation, they should trust me enough to leave their keys with me and to feed the animals. This improves their quality of life substantially. And mine too when I go on vacation.

Am afraid I don't watch any vids but I just want to encourage you and motivate to keep persevering. Watch the vids which seem appealing. They all say the same thing in the end. They are reminding you that you are not who you think you are. You are spirit assuming a material form, the form means nothing except as a means for you to see the truth. My one advice would be to meditate every day if you can even just 5 minutes a day to begin. This signifies a commitment to being a better person. In addition, there isn't just no self, there is no universe either. To enter this is what acim calls the holy instant. You let your higher self look upon God as those around you. You don't even need others, you can sit here without the interfering ego. All spiritual work is simply to tune in to and operate from the higher self. Things have to get darker before the dawn starts to appear. The problem is the you who wants to be happy. Buddhism shows you how to realize this you is nothing. In other words how to shrink that you to nothing and then in the dawn the everything has a chance to come. It's a good path. There are others that are good too.

Irrelevant whether it happened. You only ever meet yourself in the world. What you write on forums or speak to others, you communicate always for your own benefit. Doesn't mean you are required to take on everything that accosts your path. Do whatever will teach you something important by sharing something simple.
