You are throwing around words and sceptisism for what? Investigate ur own experience and wake up to the fact that conciousness is all that there is. This is as direct as it can ever be. God conciousness is a real thing. I dont believe in anything but my own experiences and not some fancy story about anything. Awareness is all that there is. Do the work that people have outlined for you and see if its true. -

We live in a mental universe. Not a physical one. -

Yeah it is nice to see! I do sometimes feel that we are moving into a more spiritual culture around the world, even if the progress is slow it will happen sooner or later. Time for the one true reality to shine through instead of the materialstic view of reality. It is waaaay more magical than that -

Adamq8 replied to jim123's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
Yeah I agree that 99% procent of the world is searching for its true source just that it believes it is outside of it self, hence the stage orange materialstic view of reality, there is zero introspection at this state, only what the outside thinks. But if we turn inward instead and look at our experience and investigate every belief you have about reality, there is not much of our beliefs that correspond with our experience, So if we investigate awareness we can recognize that what we call GOD is actually that awareness, and when you recognize that awareness is you, you see ur godly nature. -

How can existence not exist if you really think about it, how can existence arise from complete non existence? Existence has always existed in one way or another, had direct experience of the immortal nature of conciousness and actually it was a hard experience cause it asked it self why and how is it possible? Awareness exists and it is nothing and there is no how to it, we gotta come to peace with this, there is no why or how cause its always been there, there is no opposite.. Non existence is imagined by this awareness, the closest you can come to "non existence" is deep sleep, yet deep sleep is the most peaceful experience. If the only thing we ever experienced is awareness it self, you can believe in a thing called non existence but remember what would be aware of that thing being non existent? Awareness is nothing , nothing is this, and it looks like something, it creates a world and character in order to "study" itself but it will never find out why it exists. -

@Shin Would not consider myself awoke, but had multiple awakenings into my true nature and what awareness is But always great to learn or study things until a point when it is not necessary anymore. I do have a non dual awareness much more then I have an ego but it is not permanent as of yet. So im going through a bit of a dark night of the soul, I know im not real but at times im totally real lol.. Not there yet, even tho I recognize that there is no path cause awareness is always awareness -

Adamq8 replied to Shunyata's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Shunyata Psychedelics can def show you what consciousness is, you wont keep all the insights tho, but I feel that it has opened a portal within me. The thing is, Psychedelics can be so radical and insane states of conciousness that you will feel that you died and dissapeared as a human, your life is gone. -
Adamq8 replied to EmptyInside's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@snowyowl your mind thinks time exists just as cause and effect, but everything happens on its own, for example, deep sleep is awareness devoid of objective stuff, so time clearly doesent exist, deep sleep is proof of it. It is pure awareness which is love and peace. Thats why we love to sleep. But from deep sleep awareness transitions without a " YOU" thats doing anything into creating a dream character and a dream world without anything causing it, it is awareness which creates and holds differences within it. So in order to experience something it has to create a mind and an "objective shared world" But know that you as a character can realize ur own unreality and whats shines forth is the eternal awareness that you always have been. Awareness cant go anywhere, it is already unborn and can't die. -
Adamq8 replied to Cosmin_Visan's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Cosmin_Visan I agree with you on the points, tho im not so sure about the dissociate state of conciousness, it might be, like returning to ur primordial state and you might see how Mind works and how creation can arise, and what conciousness is, god is the best word to use, but people do get this insights without psychedelics aswell, just that on psychedelics ur rigid mind gets lubricated and you see the potential conciousness holds within it. But like people who experience such radical experiences and goes through really profound stuff, there is people who have experienced other forms of conciousness on psychedelics and so forth, but somehow I feel that IAM is the first thing in existence or is existence itself and then conciousness somehow uses energy to create patterns that ur mind takes in and makes the world more consistent and rigid, but when mind changes the world changes as well, and conciousness can recognize its own true nature. You can wake up and recognize ur true nature without a psychedelics, tho I feel that psychedelics can show you very different states of conciousness then waking dreaming and sleeping. -

Adamq8 replied to Adamq8's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@from chaos into self Yeah and I think that it is a given that everything that exists is conciousness, in different degrees. But I would say that GOD is the first "consciousness " that arose, or conciousness has never arosen it has always been there dormant, like deep sleep, but it had infinite potential so in order to experience a body and a mind and an objective world it actualizes some of its potential and is then locked to that particular "world " until death or real samadhi. It is a dream in gods mind in the same way you in ur sleep create an entire world out of nothing with characters, thats what awakening is about, realizing ur infinite nature. Unborn immortal. Infinite conciousness were always infinite conciousness just parading as a limited body and mind. But they are nothing but conciousness, likewise with all characters and worlds and universes, Like on psychedelics where you actually get a taste of this power it holds. It is going in every direction but at the same time it never moves. Experience changes, but never awareness, and this awareness that I have and you have is nothing but conciousness, and thats what we are, so you and me are the same Mind we have just forgot that we where -
Adamq8 replied to Adamq8's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@from chaos into self Agreed! And for example the peace you feel in deep sleep, is awareness pure state, devoid of objects, but it is from that state which everything arises, there is no time and space if we think about it in those states, and in the dreaming state conciousness creates a character and a dream world, it takes the form of that character and forgets this world, so GOD should be infinite conciousness dreaming everything up, it is the most logical conclusion if we look at our experience -
Adamq8 replied to Adamq8's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
From what i gathered in the book she claims that conciousness is a limitation and is not divine, that the body can experience without conciousness. Conciouness is arising because of the brain. And that what matter actually is , is conciousness. And what we percieve as matter is spirit ? Sounds like a materialistic view in disguise yet believes that the divine is real but we can,t experience the divine, and that another level of existence is possible behind conciousness. I do wonder how it would even be possible to even know about the Divine without conciousness, and Conciouness is the first thing that arises, in all of our experience. And in order for something to manifest atleast as we know it, it requires experience and some sort of awareness? So if GOD is all powerful, it would mean that his infinite mind creates thanks to conciousness. So for GOD to know it existed it required awareness. If not, then how is it possible for non concious things to create concious things? What sparked it? Existence in my understanding is : awareness, without it there is blank nothing We as "humans" can def know the divine thanks to conciousness. So if the divine is what created this all world, but it is beyond conciousness, it means that this world is randomly manifested out a nothingness? Just throwing around some thoughts i had after reading the book
