Not necessarily, it is in a form of primordial agnosis that one wrongly identifies with the body, what you see in the mirror is what you believe is YOU. But through the path of via negativa one transcends the psycho physical and come to gnosis about oneself. So you can keep deluding yourself no matter what, ancient greek and indian metaphysics was all about transcendence and how one recognizes what you truly are, some call it nothing, some call it soul, some call it GOD.

Harsh, or it depends on how you feel about it ofcourse, a nightmare or a bliss experience ? I am certainly open for such a thing but I have no idea how I would handle it IRL and not just as a fantasy. But that kind of sexual fantasy has grown forth since I started working on my self, years ago I was jealous as fuck and get mad, not anymore, atleast not extreme. But I think somehow that you could appreciate that sorta thing too, but it is trying to either solve it and look within or you should try out different sexual experiences

Sure he is legit , but one needs to recognize that he views his metaphysics according to Buddhism, nothing wrong with that, but it is just an interpretation, all claims about reality whether experienced or intellectual is metaphysics. Buddhism has plenty of valid insights, as does neoplatonism / advaita vedanta / Christian mysticism etc. I just find sometimes that he likes to pick on Leo, i do truly believe that Leo is as advanced as Frank it just takes different "shapes". Leo is imo one of the most brilliant philosopher/ intellectual on the scene today, he is a lover of wisdom. But his life is to talk about this stuff and much other things, so it might seem sometimes that he is "intellectualizing", but I think the insights Leo has on GOD is not something Frank has ever realized, I do feel that infinite conciousness Leo speaks about is not the infinitr conciousness in buddhism. So I feel that sure Frank might be enlightened and Leo is not, but there is plenty of insights that Frank has not had but still makes claims that he knows better almost then anyone else on the path( this is my opinion), i like Frank but somethings he says is not at all in accordance with "my" insights, perhaps ive not reached it, but perhaps he has not truly realized what GOD really means, it is the most radical thing ever. But language and words tend to confuse people. And enlightenment is in no way shape or form a total omniscient about all of reality if you get me. The logic of the infinite is that it is both a infinite dynamism and an infinite stillness, hard to reconcile for some people but true "oneness" is integrating the two into not two.

Indeed! I get the attitude of the "unknowing" part, so one can be open to reality but it is exactly that "state of mind" that open one up to get insight and understanding, i would go so far and say that understanding is limitless

The thing is, it is not really easy to use language when speaking about certain things one can realize on psychedelics, truth will make itself known in an instant, transcending any notion of a mind coming to an "understanding" it is a whole different ball game then a psychonaut tripping and coming up with theories about aliens and multiverses, they can ofcourse be valid but Truth is not a theory or a relative knowledge. Both mind and ego etc is put into the background and truth comes ROARING destroying any notion one had about awakening prior to it happening. It is obvious for you right now that you exist, not speaking about the false identification with thoughts about a "me" but the sense of existing, you cant doubt it, and the same goes for Truth. Doubt and uncertainty etc might arise when the trip is over because it is completly UNBELIEVABLE that it is true, but yet it is. Source recognizing itself is transcendent of time,speed,knowledge,theory and all other relative notions that works in our world. If I get to use one word about it, it would be Grace

I don't really get this nitpicking and side picking people are doing. Yes you can delude yourself, yes you can realize truth on them, yes you can search for the next big high, yes you can take them responsible as a tool in your practice or to heal and do deep work. It does not need to be so black and white, it all depends on where you are in your development in your own psyche, as it is with everything else in the world. Psychedelics is an amazing thing and it is an awesome thing to atleast try once imo cause it can not be compared with other "drugs" I wouldnt use the label drug on a mushroom etc. I think a healthy mindset and an balanced "view" is necessary for a good way to use the medicine in a healthy and responsible way. But as a matter of fact it is more important that you have your mind in check, atleast to a degree that you dont become dependent on psychedelics, this work is about freeing yourself up and realizing the true nature and not a constant search for a high, that is exactly a contradiction, spirituality is not about a high, and if it is assumed as such by people, they might need to reconsider and contemplate further. BUT peak experiences if one has them is certainly a awesome thing to experience, it can shake you to your core and it just shows the pure magic that conciousness and reality is. It is unfathomable. Thats why meditation is a perfect practice in combination with psychedelics from time to time if one feels it is necessary, if you dont want to use them, then don't But psychedelics can and will reveal the truth to you about yourself and the world, what kind of theories you come up with afterwards is 99% not the actual truth or "experience" one is refering too. Language is a crude and sometimes even useless when it comes to speaking about the ineffable. But that does not mean that the awakening was " a psychedelic induced " high. As a matter of fact there is no such thing as a psychedelics in the absolutest sense.

@Ry4n 100% agree. they should belong in the tool box so to speak, and we can take advantage of the medicine but also do Yoga , breathwork contemplation etc. I like the " all rounded" path, then I can use psychedelics from time to time to evolve or rather unveil the veil of "ignorance" but also include other practices and studys, so it is more like a wholeness approach ?
