  1. @Moksha ok that's interesting maybe some of you can change the direction without trying.
  2. Yes it's true but it's more complicated than that. Action should follow otherwise you are just a dreamer. This also doesn't mean that you will be safe from harm. You may work in a bank and a bank robber comes and shoots you. This love doesn't really saves you in this case. Also you can't really wait to rain women just because you feel more love. Certainly not if you are homeless for example. But if you combine this with the right actions it will certainly help.
  3. @melodydanielluna well yes of course, i just prefer to not say the book names because really everyone should get the booklist and read the stuff there. These books are changing my life. Well other books too but now i have a big list in categories and i can choose everytime what i feel like working on and understand.
  4. @Preety_India the other Cal Newport's book which is like a sequel to so good they can't ignore you. I learned alot of stuff and techniques to actually work deeper. If you sit one hour to work on something but you are all over the place obviously this hour is not the same as doing the work very concentrated without distractions. It's something obvious but strangely enough i wasn't thinking about it while putting distracted hours in. Work Accomplished = Time Spent x Intensity
  5. @melodydanielluna make sure to read his other book too. I liked it even more.
  6. I think it's necessary to avoid spamming. It's annoying sometimes but it's not really a problem.
  7. @Willie everyone can see both after trying. Just choose the direction you see the first time.
  8. No it doesn't. You are not an insecure ego. Even if thoughts or emotions of insecurity arise it doesn't matter. You are not trapped in these things.
  9. @lmfao yes. To see it counter clockwise i have to try hard. Again i don't know how accurate this thing is but i just wondered if being a right brain dominant type means that you are more likely to be interested in self actualization.
  10. My opinion is that extroverts and introverts are equally lost in their minds. Maybe introverts do have an advantage but i think that other factors are more important like life experiences (suffering in whatever form guides people to start with self help or even spirituality) and the degree of intelligence you are born with. This last statement seems harsh but lately i can see how this is true in some cases. There are people that finished school and can't do simple math. If someone is like this he is basically fucked.
  11. I have no idea for the second question but the first one i just use adobe reader. I remember changing some settings to save my changes automatically. You can easily google that and see which settings to change.
  12. Reading many books on the subject and also doing a lot of cardio like running could help. If you run regularly the energy and endorphins this will give you will also change how you interact with others. It's easier to be an exciting person when you are fit.
  13. Because often they are lol. It's also the inability to be grateful for the things that are good in our life now. We are attached to things that are not going to happen ever again. We can't accept change and the loss of anything (friends, relationships, youth etc.) We want the world to become and remain as we want it but at some point everything will die and that is inevitable. Changes and loss in whatever form are scary and threatening for the ego because we avoid thinking our own impermanence as organisms or personalities.
  14. @Mu_ yes i had a sense that i didn't understand exactly what you were communicating but that's ok it happens. I just wrote my thoughts down about the body.
  15. @Ivan Dimi sure anyone that wants to force their opinion on you is annoying. Especially if it's something crazy. The only solution might be to avoid contact with them like corona lol. This condition is incurable.
  16. I can't choose. One book is not enough. The most wisdom packed book i read however countless times when i was 14-16 is the wisdom of the peaceful warrior by Dan Millman. It's a good introduction to everything.
  17. Everyone's opinion seems pretty logical and sane from one's own perspective. As for covid first of all fuck covid. I don't follow any conspiracy theories but my intuition said to not believe anything blindly and be cautious from day one that's why i don't. I have a right to not take this vaccine and i'm going to use this right. I'm not saying anything about microchips or other conspiracy theories. The fact that i choose not to vaccinate myself with something that i don't need shouldn't trigger anyone. If someone is afraid, there is the option to take the vaccine. Now for the annoying conspiracy theorists or the exact opposite just change the subject. Either side will defend their need to be right like their life as it' s the case with 99% of people. We are chimps. We want to belong to the group that believes this or believes that. I try to not get affected and i decide for myself. I don't care about people's need to prove me wrong. I am also able to change my beliefs as needed not getting stuck in my only right belief.
  18. What i noticed lately for a while is that i am behind the senses. I see and feel stuff but these things happen after being. Also one time that i relaxed deeply after yoga the me wasn't in my body. Those 2 things weren't dramatic spiritual experiences. They were just casual noticing that this is the case. Also when i take a cold shower it's very uncomfortable for the body. My practice is to not move at all accept the discomfort and observe. I am not the discomfort. The discomfort is something strong that i observe. When i relax it's not hard anymore. I feel my body wanting to jump around but i am not the body. I feel outside of the body. When i do this i feel an energy flowing mostly in my neck. This too is something i observe in the body. Still most of the time i don't observe anything. The body does its thing and my attention is stuck at random thoughts and emotions. I feel that i am just behind my body when i try to notice. When i look at other people i mostly feel them through their eyes and facial expressions. Most people including many times are open books. It shows where the observer they are is stuck. I had a friend in high school. I used to read a lot and meditate often. I had mini spiritual experiences from meditation at that point. This friend became a hardcore Christian and was going to a cult like church. He said to me that he used to be a sociopath. The change in his character was obvious it was a transformation for the better except the part that he believed everything in the bible literaly and was full of religion dogma. Even if this was the case it was obvious that he had a deep spiritual experience despite his religion bs. One time i looked at him and his eyes were clear. Mine were also at this moment. It was the only time that i looked at someone and we were not 2 people looking at each other. We were souls that recognized the soul. Everyone can take whatever form he wants but behind the form there is a soul hidden. Facial expressions give away the state someone is in. Recognizing this soul in others even if they trigger a strong reaction in you and seeing that you too are the same and you can forgive because you know where they are stuck is what love is. Seeing others as yourself. Of course this could expand to include other things until everything is included. Then you are no longer just a body. However the same physical laws apply to your body. If someone stabs your body your body will bleed. Survival doesn't care as what you are identified with. If you don't take survival seriously your body might die. If you lose an arm in an accident you no longer have an arm to move. You are not your arm but your avatar is disabled and can't use an arm anymore.
  19. Serial Experiments Lain had a very weird vibe that i enjoyed.
  20. ?
  21. @Preety_India thank you. No problem. After all i always did the best i could with what i had. Luck is very real in some things. Also i was still better of than the majority of humans. I don't even have the right to complain. I'm sure that in India there are situations 1000 times worse for many people.
  22. When you can't afford literally nothing feeling like garbage describes it perfectly. You need to suck it up and work with the worst conditions and pay, often with really stupid employers. IF you are lucky enough to find something. You just hate your life. When you have a good income after this you appreciate it. You work harder than locals because you suddenly earn alot more than what you thought is possible. You may earn more but most of the time toxic managers and colleagues will suck your blood. If you learn something like i did spending 4 years you will pay it with your health. I can get a good salary and go at better companies but honestly i am not sure if it was worth it. Studying was of course never a possibility for me even though i am perfectly capable to study. Maybe i am too negative about this i should be more grateful. I am just sick of everything.
  23. There are countries that have systems in place that set you up for good from a young age. There are other countries that if you are poor and not have the family's support you are basically doomed. At the very best you will barely survive. I was born in such a country. I lived it. You are totally capable and society throws you in the trash. You feel like garbage. You need to humiliate yourself to eat. Even if you are a hard worker with 0 support behind you, you could be working 7/7 10 hours and barely survive. The bosses know how much power they have and behave like slave masters. They abuse their workers and pay close to nothing if they pay at all. You know there is a problem and how big it is when for a stupid job show up 40 people. There are jobs but if you are poor long enough you are not good enough for them. After all 100 people wait in line. Then there are the other countries. These countries won't let you die. They have good systems in place and if you really want to work you will. With no skills you will earn minimum wage which is 3-4 times of course higher. Still not enough in many cases but you will not die. The thing is they can let you work to death and they often do. The last 5 years. At least 3 people i knew their faces died from heart attack at age 50 at work. Your life is your work. You can afford more stuff and food but you are a slave. Those that have the highest possitions in big companies are workaholics alcoholics. Of course you also have the chance to have an education and if you do you can find something comfortable. I hate both alternatives. I was hungry in the past but also worked myself to sickness.
