  1. You may be right, but there are two ways to challenge others belief systems and I am talking about the second one as quoted below:
  2. Ps: By single, stupid logical brain, I meant science or collective discussion is a better way to logically decipher experiences rather than trying to find out all by ourselves as an individual, just to feel better about ourselves egoistically.
  3. The questions arising in your mind like why, how, what?
  4. Only their body will become like you have mentioned, but their mental strength and their power over their own mind would have developed multifold. Most of the people around me from stuck in poverty and in hard working families have become great leaders, whereas those born in rich families destroy their parents inheritance.
  5. I am not talking about social abuse here. Please read my previous posts carefully. I have pit them here for reference: When it comes to Spirituality, ego is the main obstacle. Whenever we learn some new insight through some Spiritual practice or other means, it pulls us one step up, but when you see down from there and think you are above others, the whole staircase moves two steps distance down. This section is all about Spirituality, so if you want to do something good for the people here, hurt their ego as much as possible, so that the entire staircase moves upwards, but make sure your staircase is not moving down in that process. This is applicable to people who are suffering and see Spirituality as a way out, and I agree it will hurt them, but I am talking about people who have firm beliefs regarding Spiritual concepts (and I believe that constitutes most of the forum members) and hurting their ego is for their own good. Sorry that I didn't add the word Spiritual before ego.
  6. It's not the people who are rocks, but their spiritual ego, the stubbornness in their mind that they are always right and they are 100% enlightened. Only in spiritual forums, where seeking Enlightenment is the goal, particularly this section, not everywhere. I don't talk like this in my real life or any other forums or when people ask for help.
  7. Yes. Since you are the chosen one, you have to sacrifice a lot for God and the people.
  8. For those who want to logically understand reality, there is science. For those who want to experience reality as it is, there is Spirituality. If we try to use our stupid single logical brain to understand the experience, it might lead to delusions, if not carefully thought and deciphered the experience. Eventually, science might reach a point where it could try to understand the experience, and it could reach upto the last point before the experience as far as allowed by our brain or God or whatever, but going beyond that is not possible in my opinion, as long as we are human.
  9. There are many normal level logic and reasoning not discovered yet but can be understood by humans.
  10. And so are all the insights derived from spiritual experiences.
  11. Whether the higher power is myself or I am being deceived doesn't matter. All I know is that there exists a higher power or a power beyond our logic. Sounds interesting!
  12. To be frank, many people here are either addicted to this forum or have a lot of free time in their hands or both. There is nothing wrong in discussing with like minded people about our experiences and trying to find or verify answers for our questions, but doing only that without contemplating or meditating and not developing other spiritual qualities may be a dangerous act.
  13. Then you don't need Enlightenment at all. It's only for those who ask too many questions.
  14. Only when all your questions are answered and there are no more questions in your mind, you can become enlightened.
  15. I said 'can be' and not 'they sure are'. The unveiling of Maya. It is very egoic, indeed. It's not wrong to love yourself as much as you want, but it's about making sure that others outside your circle of ego are not affected much because of your love.
  16. We try to get less attached to our ego, but we become more attached to trying to reduce our attachment to ego. My solution to this problem is to simply be aware of our ego, knowing that being more egoistic is not good for yourself, instead of thinking that becoming less egoistic would help me in my Enlightenment. The thing is, we don't get enlightenment by chasing it, but we get a lot of other good stuff because of that chasing.
  17. The answer is a firm no, but the probability of them being closer to the truth increases with experience and knowledge in my opinion. That doesn't mean a humble guy with no experience and knowledge can't be closer to the truth than an experienced one. It's once again a belief. The journey matters more than the destination, but it isn't wrong to be curious where the destination is, as long as it doesn't affect others.
