But, if we reach the end by removing all layers without doing the peeling, aren't we left with nothing to do? -

If I had a strong ego, I am never going to be honest. If I didn't, and I am honest, it will be hard to believe with seeing so much ego around you. So, unfortunately I can't answer this. But, I can assure you it is entirely possible for someone to hurt others' ego without the motivation being anger. -

I thought the 2d Mario guy can move forwards and backwards. Am I wrong? (He,he just joking!) -
"I am God but I can't control or change anything in my life, not even my own mind, then how can I be God?" "Because, you don't want to be a God. You want to be a human and experience everything in a finite form" I don't know if both of these statements are true or false, but what I know is God indeed can take control of your life and literally change it. Based on my experiences, I can vouch for these things: 1. Everything arises from your mind, and your mind can be literally controlled by God to change what or how you experience things, including pain, joy and dreams. 2. Synchronicities can happen in a massive scale that can change the path your life is traveling. Still, God or whatever you call these forces don't interfere in your everyday life or functioning of the universe. It doesn't matter if you believe whether you are God or in some other external force as God. But, never stop believing in a higher power and being humane and humble.

Atleast try for fun, maybe? But, no point ( atleast for most of us) in spending your whole life sacrificing every other experience, trying to understand it. -
And here is the trailer: (16+ only) (CC) If you love any one of the Leo, here is a song for you: ( Subtitles available)

Describing God or reality as Love is acceptable in the sense that it helps us to accept what is happening around us, love or hatred, good or bad, life or death with equal acceptance, knowing that there is nothing to hate about God making life this way, and even be compassionate with him for being so. As long as the nature of life is impermanent, there is always hope for joy even in the extremes of suffering. If reality is like there is no end to suffering, without hope, without death, without a limit for suffering, as hell is described, then we can argue reality is not about Love. But I don't think it's the case in earth. At the same time, describing reality as love leads to confusions, with the nature of human love mostly being conditional and egoistic. So, it's better to discover or create another word, similar to the way words are framed in Sanskrit, where there are so many words for the same experience with different meanings. -

If we derive personal enjoyment out of that seeing people getting hurt, we could very well be called sadistic. But we could enjoy or feel happy when the same person affected becomes more tolerant to other's ideas because of that action. -

The same could be said about worrying whether my words will hurt others. And that's what I suggest too. Don't worry about hurting others' ego as long as your points are unique and constructive.( During a conversation related to Spirituality) -

This can't be denied. Unless somebody got enlightened just by reading things. If you got so, you either didn't or you might have already done the practical work. -

No one can teach you about the absolute, but for those who try to understand it, some can point towards relatively better ways to understand it so that we don't destroy ourselves with worse ways to understand it. Most people's curiosity doesn't stop there with the experience. -

Memory is a trait of humans, very useful for survival and experience. It came into existence only a few years ago. -
Ha ha! But these are just the official and usual ones. It's common for people here who are popular in film industry to try their luck in politics. They have a huge fan base and a very huge ego. They can even change the winning side with their vote bank. So, when such people enter politics or show off their ego, it's natural for people, especially politicians to get threatened. That's what happening right now here.

Unfortunately, many such teachers ( in general, not referring to you) either have too much spiritual ego or they want to earn money. ( not some, for survival, but lots and lots) So, clinging to a single teacher without knowing him is never good for us. Also, there is no proper metric to judge whether they are above us or below us. This forum, along with other internet sources can be a good source of spiritual knowledge, if the noise is filtered. Also, trying different Spiritual gurus' ideas is also a good thing to do. But clinging to a single teacher is very dangerous, in my opinion. If you can open your mind, the whole universe can literally be the best teacher. -
Already the film is facing political pressure before release, please don't delay it further by filing infringement cases, the fans will be angry. They will do anything for their hero!

A movie named Leo is releasing there. Thought that would be funny, with all the craze around Leo here.

There are many reasons why people enter into Spirituality. The two major reasons are: 1. I am undergoing intense suffering and I need relief from them 2. I have too many questions about reality and I want answers. For those who are in the first category, Enlightenment becomes a need more than a want comparatively, and any path they find to reach there can be beneficial. But for those in the second category, desiring straight for the answers without any work can become detrimental for their own welfare or even their life. For such people, the best way to seek is to strengthen the heart first. Strengthening the heart involves practicing the following qualities: 1. Compassion 2. Gratitude 3. Forgiveness 4. Unconditional love. The first three are comparatively easier to practice either through meditation or by introducing them in our everyday life, whereas the last one takes time. Once the heart is strong, even mild meditation like 10 minutes everyday can lead to greater insights quickly as the ego is automatically weakened through strengthening of heart. Another side effect of a strong heart is immense joy. If the heart is not strengthened, and ego dissolution or other spiritual experiences are achieved through shortcuts, it will take a very long time to comprehend what you have experienced, and it will turn your life upside down, leading to questioning of life and its purpose, sollipism, dark night of the soul etc., because your ego will return to it's natural state soon after the experience. The person with a strong heart will recover sooner as their natural ego state is already less.

Still they had the same discussions as we now do in the forum, some of which became a part of the religion considering its high value, as spirituality didn't and doesn't need science to get developed. -

Some of what those religions say may be advanced or turquoise or whatever you label it, but religions in general I feel are a hindrance to our spiritual growth. But, they do play a vital role in increasing our faith in a higher power. -

I think you are right! -

You may be right, and what you say is good for me as an individual soul, but everything happening happens with interconnectedness. You don't need everyone to follow ideas like this. But even a few trying to follow it will impact others in a good way. I might just simply post my ideas and sit back and relax and enjoy the show like you have mentioned, if everyone does the same, there will remain a few set of people who resist all or most of other's ideas and they will remain the same always without improvement. Those set of people will or might get benefitted by this idea followed by me or someone else. -
An young being replied to An young being's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
Yep! If it is a website, I can list all the ways to do something right, but in a forum, it's all about having discussions about a particular thing, no matter of it is right or wrong. But, finally we can come to conclusions like this while the idea also gets its required impact. -

Thank you for identifying your bias and agreeing to that openly. Only few people can do that. Keep the same character as you learn more and more, and you will then learn the most. Though most of what I type arise from my conscious logical thinking, some words that I type arise intuitionally, that sometimes I have to recheck why I have wrote that and where it came from and how it seem to have deep meanings! -
An young being replied to HMD's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
I already think it is possible! How and why? Logic and reason arise from our older beliefs and knowledge from our past experiences. So, it is not necessary for everything to function logically to be correct. Ironically, this too arise from logic!
