  1. And humans ask, "Robots stealing my jobs, unethical?" And after a few hundred years, humans again ask "Intelligent conscious robots replacing stupid, low conscious humans, unethical?"
  2. The children can be described as enlightened in the sense that their mind is comparatively free of thoughts about the future, and so they live in the present without worrying much about the future. Being free of responsibilities is one of the main reasons making this possible, I believe, apart from a less developed brain. Even animals are said to be free of bombarding thoughts and worries about the future, and maybe even the past, and hence live in the present better than most humans.
  3. It would really be useful to see the perspective of various factions and what biases led to them to their decisions. This would help us be compassionate with whom we consider as evil and develop an open minded worldview. But, we should be careful enough not to be influenced by those biases, especially in micro levels, for they can strengthen our own biases which we have common with those ideologies and lead to closed mindedness.
  4. There are multiple aspects to opening yourself more, I just don't want you to get stuck in the same place. From another perspective, you can continue doing what you are doing, as long as you don't suffer because of it.
  5. It may sound absurd, but for a rational mind, that's a very good approach. The OP hasn't given enough data, but based on the data he gave, what I understand is that he is having some sort of mood disregulation, along with some coinciding things happening, possibly synchronicities, and people suggested him to worship a specific deity. I maybe missing something, but if that's the case, here's my rational approach: 1. I would differentiate synchronicities from normal coincidents by comparing it with the rate of coincidents happening and observing whether it's beyond the normal levels possible. If it's beyond normal levels, I would acknowledge that something beyond what I thought would define logicality exists. 2. I would figure if there are any medical problems causing mood disregulations by visiting a doctor. 3. I would question why I feel I am connected to a Greek goddess, and not some American or Indian one. I would analyse why and how deities came into existence and whether they are powerful or not. Asking in a forum for similar experiences is also a rational approach.
  6. If you were born like that, your thinking would have been entirely different and you won't be bothered much, especially since you get used to it since birth.
  7. When it comes to personal development, you can be loyal, as they are based mostly on logical systems and improvement in performance can be measured easily. When it comes to Spirituality, you shouldn't be loyal, as Spirituality arises and answers mostly from within you rather than based on something outside of you like a guru.
  8. Good, but I just hope that you don't spend rest of your life trying to be it, ha ha!
  9. Suffering keeps your ego in check, so that you don't spoil the grand experience.
  10. I am fine with your view of reality, but one thing that raises curiosity in me is your need to maintain the state of oneness as long as possible. Using what methods are you trying to do that?
  11. That's definitely an issue, especially in spiritual discussion platforms.
  12. You seem to be clear in your beliefs and have awakened to everything, kudos to that. But I can't help but share what I called as my experience in an attempt to enlighten you more, lol. I had a brief period where I got controlled by an external entity with a specific personality. It literally controlled my movements, like making me turn my head, walk to the place it wanted me to and even write things in a piece of paper. Sometimes, when it was doing that, I realised that it knows everything before I actually did, meaning it was always in control, and had more control than the one I thought was me. Sometimes both the entity and I was seen as one, and sometimes separate. It was something integrated rather than something external like a spirit or ghost. Of course, I was diagnosed as delusional when I shared these experiences to the external world, but like @Squeekytoy says, I used my brain and arrived at the conclusion it is not so.
  13. @Squeekytoy, I don't get your point, are you saying experience can be an illusion, and thinking is a better way to understand things, or are you being sarcastic? Because people who think that way are rare in spiritual circles.
  14. Do you mean Ahab, the 7th King of Israel?
  15. I am grateful to Leo that he created this forum as I am having lots of fun and learning ( and mental masturbation) while spending time here. But I am not sure Leo qualifies as a sage considering the following definition by Google: sage1 /seɪdʒ/ noun an aromatic plant whose greyish-green leaves are used as a culinary herb, native to southern Europe
  16. The day when chatgpt qualifies as a spiritual guru is not far away.
  17. And keep 5 to 10 alarms every morning and evening to remind you to do that.
  18. Here are some insights for you: 1. You are here to experience everything possible, till infinity. 2. Forgetting helps you to limit yourself, so that you can have unique experiences. 3. You can and will exist all the time. There's no escaping, but only forgetting. 4. Your karma pushes you forward and backward towards infinity. Don't ask me the logic behind the insights, lol, they are just obtained like the rest of the insights present in spirituality. From deep contemplation. Make sure to have fun with those insights and not make them your beliefs.
  19. I think 'I got Enlightenmend and ask me anything' is the second most popular thread type here. The first place, of course, goes to, ' Does sollipism exist or not?'
  20. I have experienced things that undermines free will, but the experience itself could very well be an illusion.
  21. Especially when they know each other inside out!
  22. What if I wish 1 million dollar to help poor, starving people?
  23. Here, by spirituality, I mean, of course, chasing awakening/Enlightenment.
