Ok ok. You want what you do to be meaningful, but you have to know that it could be anything as long as you cultivate it enough. That's why going all the way with something is important. You could help a lot of poor people through art, you don't know that, quite unlikely but not impossible. It just depends on how you frame your work. If writing is your stuff then go ahead and think all the possible ways it could have an impact on people.

This is a good talk. I am impressed that someone like her created wealth by just teaching social cues. Like she said in the video, is very hard to create positive social "cycles" as she calls it, but very easy to scatter negativity through negative facial cues for example, or negative commentaries. Is all about feedback loops. You could have a million dollar idea but if you comunicate it wrong no one is going to listen.

Every major AI is a reflection of our society, literally. So no surprises if it induces psychosis ha ha. That shit is infested with rationalism. Although I can use it perfectly fine and enhance my learning with it in some specific cases.

@SimpleGuy Have you watched the Life Purpose Course?
-
No idea, quite a lot possibly. I am not good at writing. For the rest, well... at the end is how your work impact others. I get the impulse of ranking profession in terms of practicality but that will limit you a lot. But you may be more productive that way.

I was walking the other day and I was feeling a little down, and I remember myself projecting my momentary misery into others. Is this thing where you automatically believe others are going through the exact same thing, or that they're feeling the same thing. I was able to catch myself doing this and then I realized the mind does this automatically without worries. If you're self-conscious enough you could at least be aware when you're projecting. But if there is noise around people 100% is due to the fact they cannot stop projecting. I am not really siting down contemplating this stuff, rather it is a progressive realization.

And I need to work on interesting communication. I have a hard time maintaining the level of appeal even with the things I am passionate about (specially with those things). Basically I want to be better at knowing well how to convey ideas. I am talking irl of course, internet has nothing to do with it.

Watched the first ~40' I am realizing that I've been stuck in rationalism on my own and didn't know it, but I knew something was wrong. It is not even autistic bs, because at least there is passion in autism, it is soulless nonsense. It is fake understanding.

Honestly OneNote is quite good for a commonplace book. I had troubles with it when I wanted to write over pdf, because is not built for that. Other than that it works. But I won't be surprised if I encounter more problems with it, my trust in Microsoft is already compromised (they put ads into my personal pc).
-
The only reason I want to start doing it is to be able to revisit old ideas that get buried over time. Other than that I don't find it much use.
-
I'll give it a try. I used OneNote before for courses notetaking.
-
Are you working on any particular skill? Do you have any?
-
Well, you have a fair amount of experience in different things to narrow you down more. Maybe instead of trying other things you would benefit more from revisiting in your mind the things you've tried and make a throughout contemplation of what aspects did resonated with you and what didn't, what do they have in common, like what draws your attention to that kind of things. You're gonna succeed more if it is based on your personal experience. Then, the things you listed at the beginning, could you pull something out of 3D modeling or graphic design and use it for micropolitics? Or photography + youtube? See, these kind of questions should help you more. Be more clear.

You're welcome. What other things you think you could try?

"How To Distinguish If It`s My Life Purpose Or Not?" If you're too young might be very hard to "distinguish" it right out of the bat. It becomes clear as you try stuff, gradually. That's why I respond what I wrote. "Meh, yeah, it sounds good, but who cares?". I feel like yeah, it`s good music, but, after all, who really cares if I can play beautiful music?" I feel different when I play guitar, the oposite of that. So I can more firmly trust my gut there. But I know I love other things which I tried in the past, but not a strongly as the first one. I am building Arduino skills too for example. So my answer was pretty on point, think about it.

Make the switch, pursue it for 1 or 2 years and then reflect.
-
Then you need to try a couple of different things if it does not resonate.

Men are wired to be masculine, is not simply a "bad structure of our society". As a man you need to do a conscious effort to integrate your femenine side, which is super healthy, heals wounds, makes you more succesful and less irritable. I want to point the downside of too much femininity though: very easy to manipulate. So men are wired to be masculine because of survival.
-
Ah yes, very natural. Is normal to exaggerate when you're integrating things. However there is a contradiction in being more developed and not knowing better. If you're more developed you know better by definition. A lot of feminist groups is pure nonsense, but knowing how to handle sexual harassment is development and knowing better. Feminism is just the natural reaction to sexual harassment, and societies that have feminism consolidated are more developed.
-
You're assuming something and you're VERY wrong.
-
I agree, there are feminists that are very mature. Most criticism to feminism is childish resentment. I didn't understand what you mean by that.
-
@Nemra Glad you documented the build up and planing of your testings.
-
No joke, make the kid watch the Life Advice for Young People series. And if in doubt, promise him/her a gift afterwards.
-
Yup. If you feel puzzled and don't know quite good the right move then you're on a good path to actual understanding.

Actually the way you learn is by not following those points, making the mistakes, and facing the limitation of not following those points. Nothing is mandatory.
