Teaching young people about the dangers of addictive behavior is a start. The quality of the marketing system doesn't help. People are parroting behaviors we think is cool till it becomes too late and the body gets addictive to the substances. Judging people is not the answer, spreading awareness is. People will defend their addictive behaviors because it has become a way of being. They've identified with that part of their character, and because they're not making conscious choices, we make excuses as to why we either can't stop or justify why we do it, then it becomes a dependency or coping mechanism. No sense in confronting people about their addictive behaviors because they will only resent you for doing so, unless someone seeks out the help they need on their own it's useless to try and convince them. There's a reason why life is structured the way it is. It's called learning to love the self and we learn at our own pace. The paradox is, there is no self to love because the true Self is LOVE.

Is this a riddle, metaphor, parable, maze or a labyrinth? -
I get what you're saying, but to motivate yourself requires skill and inspiration is a tool you can use to implement that skill. We were actually referring to the reading of quotes and the importance or lack thereof in reading them, not just generalizing. I was responding to that, which was a question stemming from an action - "quote reading". So in that respect, after reading a quote, it can cause you to contemplate on it, which in return, may or may not result in your taking inspired action. Inspiration usually stems from a cause; and in this case, it's the reading of quotes. You won't go far with inspiration alone, but what fuels that inspiration to be actualized is by setting an intention.

The Inspired feeling is what helps to compel the implementation,

The brain doesn't know the difference between what's real and what's being imagined. So, remembering experiences from the past, is like reliving them in the present. There is power in letting go. We are creating new ripples in the ocean every time we drop pebbles in it and recreating the past when the past is being remembered. The brain will believe we're going through that experience now and it will become more difficult to form new neural pathways in order to change the way our brain perceives reality. We can change our past at any time by remembering it differently right here, right now, in the present moment because the present moment is all that exists. If we are defined by memories of the past, we are creating our predictable future, right now. There are scars within us that we hold on to; but when we recognize that those wounds can be healed by letting go of them, then and only then can we begin to heal.

It's very hard to see certain things when you're not open to seeing them. It took me awhile to start to understand somethings about life and the things that are happening in the world, about myself and the people around me. It all started with questions. The right kind of questions. I was persistent, but not aggressive, in my quest for knowledge. I kept being curious until things started to be revealed to me. I didn't have to go anywhere, it found me. Now I'm starting to understand some things; and because I didn't accept what people were telling me and refused to believe this world could be so viscous and cruel for no reason other than just being viscous and cruel (which I no longer believe), it changed my way of seeing the world. It took me going within and stopping the victim mentality for me to be receptive to seeing things from a different perspective and to not following societal norms. Things started to become clearer; and instead of rebutting everyone's views and defending my victimhood mentality, I started to apply some of the things I was being taught and realized for myself how I was creating my world. It is a bit complex, but if you open your mind enough it will become simpler because there are certain ground rules that apply; and once these ground rules are understood, the puzzle gets easier to solve. I'm still in the learning stages but I know it's a life-long journey and my mind is a little more at peace now where I am able to receive the guidance I need to help me in my journey...whatever that journey is. When I see people like you suffering mentally and have succumbed to the imprisonment of the mind it breaks my heart, but I'm also learning that everyone is on their own individual path, and I have no right to try to intervene and change anything if I'm being met with resistance. So, I'm going to leave this right here and can only suggest to you that it doesn't have to be that way, and it is your choice to stay in that place of suffering instead of trying to understand why things are the way they are in order for you to break free from those chains. I wish you the best and hope you can leave your mind alone so your true self can come to the forefront and guide you where you need to go. -

What kind of porn are you watching...tea bagging...what the hell is that...dirty what...dirty who...no wonder you think it's immoral. Have you ever seen porn with model type women and men with picturesque bodies, very beautiful anatomies, artful visuals and beautiful scenery. They're still having sex and other stuff and it's still considered porn but tastefully done without getting tea bagged or dirty Sanchezing or face cumming. Yes, I'm exaggerating but you just went to the other extreme You labelled them dirty so now you feel ashamed for watching it. -

His intentions were probably to show his empathy for porn stars and what they go through but my intention is to show not all porn stars have trauma nor is it immoral to watch or be in porn unless you make that your truth. Now he not only immortalized something, he now has to deal with his own guilt and whatever else he has placed upon himself to uphold some fake morality. These are reasons why we have mental disorders, depression, anxiety and all kinds of mental problems because we have put ourselves in positions that is impossible to uphold because of the egos survival mechanism because of its nature and we have to label things moral or immoral. -

I recommend you go watch videos of Jamaica online and see how much of the dark side is shown. Yet millions go there on vacation every year. I grew up seeing great things, rich neighborhoods and people of high intellect there...but all people ask me about when they realize I'm Jamaican is...do you smoke weed...or do you live in huts They won't show you the good side of things on TV so that's not a good example -

The point of posting it was to let us know he had the privilege of meeting his favorite, rich, traumatized pornstar who had her arm sawn off during sex while having a cigarette, who no longer has a soul and now he can never enjoy porn again.
