What higher and lower? If it's real point to it. Define yourself as a separate individual. Now that I've asked you a question.. Observe how the possible answer will just form itself in your mind without "you" doing anything. -

@Ibgdrgnxxv @Ibgdrgnxxv Why you glorify the Quran? Because you think it is the speech of God? Well this world is the "deed" of God. Why don't you glorify everything then? If everything came from God.. Then every speech is the speech of God. My words here are the words of God. Why don't you glorify them? -

@AtheisticNonduality @Moksha this is getting too abstract. Let's ground it more to earth. Do you love disgusting stuff? No? Then how can you say love is an absolute or encompasses everything? Here there is an instance of your life when you didn't love something. Do you feel peace.. Joy.. Bliss.. Harmony.. Good.. All the time? Ofcourse no. You feel good. But then comes times when you feel like shit. So how can goodness be an absolute? If it's absolute it doesn't come and go. It's always the same. What is always the same? Nothing. Tada! Lol -
Nothing You know this so why you are asking?

I agree with you if I understand correctly. I would add as I said it's neither good or bad as in inherently. Both good and bad are the mind's projection. -

I don't accept this as a teaching because some enlightened guy said it. I became directly conscious of it. I'm conscious of the absolute truth. and it's nothing. Nothing is without distinctions. It has no inherent distinctions. If you imagine it as love and peace.. It is. If you imagine it as misery and evil.. It is. But ultimately it is just nothing.. Other than what you imagine it is. Actually there aren't any inherent goodness or evil in anything. It's all in your head. The absolute is nothing. Nothing can appear as anything. It appeared to Jesus as love. It appeared to buddha as silent formlessness. It appeared to Mohammed as an ultimate dominant force with infinite power. It appeared to Krishna as all formed things. That's the manifesting aspect. The Godhead.. The ultimate reality in it's purest actual eternal unchanging beingness is just pure nothingness. -

What's your perspective?. You don't understand. I'm telling you the ego doesn't have choice because there is no ego and you're telling me that's from the perspective of the ego lol. -

@Moksha I do not follow any scriptures or authority figures. So please there is no need to bring up various sacred quotes or to appeal to buddha Jesus etc. Yes. Enlightenment is a pointer. What does it point to? Relative and absolute are pointers. What do they point to? No-self and Self are pointers. What do they point to? The ultimate teaching is all things are inherently and ultimately empty.. Empty of reality. So there is no relative or absolute.. No fake self and no true self. No enlightenment and no delusion. Everything is ultimately empty. And that.. Is enlightenment. The recognition of the inherent emptiness. The recognition itself does not matter. Because it is empty. That's why you are already enlightened. You are not to discover your emptiness. You are empty of any reality. Here and now. -

Never mind lol its just inquiry} into identity. You think you are an individual. You believe that you are everything. You are actually nothing lol. Why? Cuz you're not what you think or Believe you are -

@Fran11 there is no choice tho. You are not choosing anything. And I mean anything. You didn't choose your birth as this particular human.. In this particular world.. In this particular part of the world.. In this particular Era.. To this particular family.. With this particular genetics.. With this particular gender.. With this particular look.. Yada yada..you didn't choose the language that you are speaking.. You didn't choose your upbringing.. You didn't choose your cultural conditioning.. You don't choose your heart beat.. You don't choose your thoughts.. You don't choose your actions.. You don't choose your reactions.. You don't choose what you agree with.. You don't choose what you disagree with.. You don't choose your beliefs your desires your traits your moods your habits your chances your anything lol...simply because you are not real as an individual you yourself are a thought or at a best a continuity of conditioned thoughts been shaped by your environment. It's not necessarily that this process is fated. It just is what it is. However it is you don't choose it. -

No I'm not saying it's deterministic. It's a spontaneous creation. You can call it random. When you experience a thought it is the case that most of the time there is no casual link between them. That makes you deny the determination as well. One thought about America' s war on Iraq.. Next thought about you playing golf with dolphins lol... That's more randomness to me then it is a determination as it's hard to see the causal link between each arising thought. -

Is it your experience that you are everything? Are you experiencing yourself as that? Do you think of yourself as a separate individual or as everything? -

@Moksha As in bless.. Joy.. Peace.. Love... Etc there is anguish.. Suffering.. Death.. Sickness.. Hate... Murder.. Rape.. Covid.. Poverty.. Injustice.. Pain.. Etc. These are conditions.. These are not the absolute yet they are included. So you can say that peace and love are the absolute in the sense that they are included.. But they aren't the whole thing. Just in the same way I can say an ant is God.. An ant is the absolute. That's true its included. But it's not the whole of God. God is also tigers.. Lions.. Snakes.. Spiders.. Sharks.. Humans etc. -

I don't think I'm "constructing" this. It can be a construction if one is adding something extra on top of the actual process. So in terms of thought process as an example.. The assumption that " I "think my thoughts is a construction.. As there is no "I" to be found separate from thoughts that is creating them. However When it's described as a stream of thoughts arising and going without assuming any "entity" in charge of the process.. That's not a construct as it's actually representing of the actual process. -

It's neutral. Because it holds all opposites and transcends them. It's only the ego who wants to think of reality as pure goodness. Because it can't accept reality with all its ups and downs. With all its beauty and its ugliness as well . You are afraid of the infinity that you are. -

OK you mean I'm getting stubborn and stuck In my opinion? Yeah maybe.. But as I said it's just happening..it's not that there is a me who is getting stubborn or clinging to thoughts.. Clinging just happens. I swear I wrote that comment while preparing my omelette. ? As you observe the words just unfolding out of your mind and your mouth.. You come to realize people don't cling their opinions. They don't shape their opinions. Actually no one has any opinions. No one actually knows what are they talking about. Because talking just happens lol. -

@allislove dude lol now you're getting weird. But I guess you have no choice. -
Someone here replied to Someone here's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
No. Who chooses to let thoughts go or cling to them? You assume a seperate thinker who is doing this. Thoughts come and go.. They can get stuck.. Or they can go easily.. No one is making them stick or go. Yes but the construct is so obviously unrepresentitve of reality. I explaind it in the OP and in the post in the previous page. Not a single internal or external process that happens in your body-mind is done by "you". One minute of self-observation is enough to reveal that. So how did the human mind come up with this construct? -

Can there be everlasting peace.. Abundance and joy? Isn't peace the opposite of disturbance? How can you be at peace without knowing disturbance? How can you know joy without knowing misery and suffering? Aren't these relative? Is joy an absolute? Is any particular limited emotion or feeling an absolute? -

You're welcome lol. That doesn't "explain" it though. That explains how there is no explanation for your pissing your bed lol. -

If there is no chooser.. What is choice? -

I don't want this thread to die out.. I wanna get a discussion going on here cuz this is some crazy stuff lol.... How is the body movement done? Lol As soon as you wake up.. The body starts moving.. Lol it just starts moving.. How is the first movement done? You don't how or why precisely it moves the way it moves. And then it carries on moving.. Wow the body is such a zombie. There is no difference between a drunk person and a sober person in the sense that.. .. Everyone hasn't the slightest idea what the fuck are they doing lol. This changes how you relate to humans entirely. This is so obviously clear . Another way to realize it.. A very easy way to realize the illusion of choice is to try to stop.. Try to stop all internal and external happenings in what you think your body.. No thoughts no actions no chatter no feeling etc... You can't.. Something must happen.. A thought must arise.. A breath.. A blink of an eye.. A tingle..... Lol if you cannot stop doing what you're doing even when you try all you can to stop it.. Are you really doing it? Bottom line.. No one is doing anything. Choice is a joke. Everyone is basically just a zombie. There is no difference between the spontaneous happening of a river flow and the movement of the human body. -

Surrender. Relax. Slow down. Accept. Meditation. Write about how you feel. You are not alone.. You just think that you are alone.. You can think that you are not alone.. And that will be the reality.. Since truth is not any thought.. It becomes any thought. Yeah nothing matters.. But why does it matter that nothing matters? Whatever insight you've had. Deconstruct it. You can. And then you will have the most profound insight. That all insights are imaginary. Your imagination. They don't exist in reality. The underlying all categories. And then you can imagine it however you want. Be well -

Ideas come and go. What doesn't come and go? Don't think it. You can't think it. You can't bring to light..make seen.. Make realized.. That which is already ever-presently the case. There is no ultimate answer to this question. There is no absolute truth found in words and concepts. You are real and not real at the same time. It's relative. Is this world real? Yes and no. It's relative. When you are at deep sleep. There is no world. When you are awake. There appears to be a world. It's all relative to certain things. The absolute however is beyond that bullshit. Your real nature which is producing these distinctions while itself having no distinctions is ever-true. Ever-present. Why are you concerning yourself with the relative illusions.? When you Can discover your ultimate absolute nature and become free as you already are?
