  1. Then by what means should we verify it? Is It gonna remain anecdotal for the rest of history? With 7 billion people on the planet and no real proof that it exists…. If it does exist, it is so rare that it has escaped billions of people. But sure, if you can show me so verifiable evidence, I would be open to it.
  2. I deleted this comment but since @KH2 quoted it..i will bring it back the James Randi foundation offered $1,000,000 to anyone in the world who could demonstrate psychic powers, did anyone claim that prize? No. Not one single person claimed the Randi award. Again - why not?? Many so-called psychics would have been queuing around the block to claim that prize - if not to pocket the money, at least to prove to the whole world once-and-for-all that they should be taken seriously and that their powers were genuine. That would have been the perfect platform to do so. In reality, they could not do this because they have no such powers and would have looked a bit silly.
  3. @Leo Gura im just being skeptical . Why should I believe you? What credit does that give to you as a teacher?
  4. I'm not open to psychic phenomenon. How do you know you aren't delusional or hallucinating? Why should I believe you ? A glass eye in a ducks ass could see that psychic powers are not real. People who claim that they have psychic powers are either: -Mentally ill (for example schizophrenia and epilepsy can cause sufferers to hear voices, or to feel that they are able to see the future) -Pretending to have supernatural abilities to make themselves look special, or gifted... better than everyone else with their cool supernatural powers. -Pretending to have supernatural abilities to extort money from gullible people - even people who are grieving. It’s very unethical BTW I'm gonna be the ball buster here and ask: Does that Have anything to do with you upcoming awakening course ?
  5. I always feel like a loser after any masturbation session. Always feel drained .deprived of energy. Brain fog .poor concentration. Not enough strength to kick ass in the gym. And many more . However,I'm now on 100+ days on NoFap and I feel the opposite of all these things. Of course one masturbation session isn't gonna get me back to zero. But it just escalates . One fap leads to another fap and it becomes a cycle of binging .
  6. @Carl-Richard and how much is too much ? How do you even go about measuring that?
  7. @Carl-Richard you seriously don't believe that there is not any harmful effects of fapping and porn AT ALL and that its just in our head ?
  8. What would you all define as the ‘perfect’ or ‘optimum’ life? Would you say that out of all the possible lives that you could have had, is the optimum life the one in which you realised your dreams and ambitions, the one in which you had the biggest impact in society, the one in which you had the deepest relationships, the one where you lived the longest or something else? I would be interested in what people’s thoughts were as to what the ‘perfect’ life is and how would you make a start to work towards it in the here and now.
  9. For starters everyone has to depend on someone or the other, for some period of their life . We first depend on parents who do all the rough works, i.e., paving the way for us on which we just go on walking. you cannot bring this feeling of letting go of your dependency on others suddenly. How to gradually let go of dependency on others and turn it into dependency on yourself.?
  10. Because simply people are not the same. They vary in personality, feelings, thoughts and beliefs. What you deem as something easy might be difficult for someone else. Some people are introverted they are better off alone, they can't deal or interact with others effectively because they're too busy interacting with themselves, they are so keen in themselves to the point where they forget that they're actually surrounded by people.
  11. By not taking anything said in this community as a belief. Validate everything in your direct experience. If its not true for you ..then its not true AT ALL.
  12. Yes, but truth and falsehoods certainly exist. There are multiple levels of falsehoods, and throwing all of them out the window is an emotional process. Separate what’s false from what’s true by questioning everything until only truth remains. When you are no longer capable to confuse the two, you’re enlightened, but you won’t be thinking of yourself as such. No one will be able to confuse you about it also, because you will have lost your capacity to be confused. But please understand that people use the same word for this basic fabric of reality and for the momentary experience of noticing it. The latter is just an experience like any other. The former is what makes all experiences possible.
  13. I would say it just takes the form of a cloud of possibility when you don't observe it . Like this famous experiment they've done in Quantum Mechanics..the electron behavior is a particle when you observe it ..but when you don't observe it ..it doesn't disappear..it just acts like a wave . But who knows. Whatever.
  14. And how it felt ? I'm on day 123 now and i feel on top of the world. I swear I can get a boner just by thinking about sex
  15. If you close your eyes the material world is not affected in any way. No material impact, nowhere near disappearance. It disappears for you and only you. Similarly if I close my eyes the universe remains unaltered except for one sensor less (shuttered). So it is true for n individual observers but not for everyone.
  16. What are your reasons for wanting to die young? If we are to hypothetically take a person that simply wants to die before they are “old” and have no other reason to want to die then they are simply stating that they do not want to get old. Are you afraid of getting old and sick of life ? Why don’t you want to get old? .There could be numerous reasons you don’t want to get old. But I think they are almost all probably based in fear: Fear of looking older. Fear of watching their body slowly deteriorate. Fear of the responsibilities of being older. Fear that they won’t have lived up to their own idea of themselves. Fear of death. How can they be afraid of death if they want to “die” young? Because dying young is far different than living your whole life while knowing you are getting closer and closer to the You just need to realize that life (anyways) is like a glimpse. In the broader scheme of things a human life is here and gone in a flash. Enjoy it. Don’t take it so serious. Take each phase as they come. Each phase has its pros and cons. If you embrace it, being older can be a wonderful experience.even better than the younger years for many people!
  17. I too wanna live to my late 70s and anything else will be extra me and my mom had a conversation and we both agreed that late 70s is a long life but anything could happen in the next 60 years life is unpredictable. I don't give a shit about society Seems like the whole point of life isn't it ? So you better work hard towards your goals and ambitions. Because nothing in this world is for free .
  18. No honestly . But I skimmed through it . It is basically trolling the NoFap community and the concept of Semen retention. I tell you seriously..try the 90 days challenge and stop yanking your Johnson to porn and see for yourself what the fuss is really about .
  19. Good question Let's propose the following : Proposition A: The same cause always produces the same effect, and the same effect never arises but from the same cause. Proposition B: All chains of causality have neither a beginning nor an end. Proposition C: Attempts to find an absolutely “first” or “final” cause entail resorting in one form or another to a miracle or super-natural force. Think of proposition C in a pragmatic way. Meaning, if a rational explanation for the world in the sense of a closed and complete system of logical truths is almost certainly impossible, then an understanding of its existence and properties lies outside the usual categories of rational human thought. Therefore the universe didn't have a beginning. But was always existing. And If it was caused ..then whoever caused it is beyond time and space altogether.
  20. Many people find NoFap because they know something is wrong. They know their lives can be better than what it is right now. They have goals they want to achieve. They have places they want to go. They yearn for a life of positivity, laughter and happiness. And that is what NoFap is about. NoFap is hard .. but it is a game changer. It will instill in you a different view of the world and life. But not everyone has the ability to complete the 90 or 180 day NoFap challenge. It takes a strong minded person to get through the ups and downs of the journey. This is why 99% of the people who try the challenge end up failing. But if you do complete the 90 or 180 day challenge then you will learn to master yourself ... control your mind to control your urges. That is what the challenge is really about. Also if you call nofap a cult ..I dunno what shall we call pornography, the cosmic conspiracy run by satan worshippers to degrade humanity to be less than fuckkikg animals?
  21. Play chess or sudoku or anything that gets you thinking and scratching your damn head .
  22. Anyone familiar with this movie or have read the novel (the stranger,by Albert Camus)?
  23. Yes you can say all that on a forum but in real life ,do you live according to what you are saying here ? Probably not . Let me tell you a little story : A friend of mine much older than I am, once told me that he had nothing to lose and he told me the exact same thing..that nothing matters to him. The judgemental jerk that I am..decided to judge his situation. I felt he was delusional . He had his comfort zone that matters. Often comfort zones kill motivation. Motivation to get out of the smaller comfort zone and to get into a bigger one. It basically hits the snooze button of our survival instincts. My friend had a lavish apartment, a good job, a great girlfriend, enough money to lead a very comfortable life. Life seemed great but suddenly things went haywire. he had a breakup, he was fired. His comfort zone was shattered. Initially he binge drunk his way out of depression. Somewhere between all this mayhem, he realized he had something to look forward, something to lose..his happiness. He did struggle for a good couple of years. He took professional help. He ended up in a much better position that what he was in. Moral of the story : We all have something that matters to us..sometimes we already have them but we don't realize until we lose it. our relations, happiness, money, desires, passions. For some who haven't reached their dreams, the beauty of monotony of doing what needs to be done to get there is something that would matter to you. Life throws you choices. Humans take decisions. Being happy is all one needs and it matters to everyone. If you are happy, you wouldn't want to try hard, if you are not, you would. Things wouldn't matteronly if you attained nirvana.
  24. Not sure .I need to see the free samples first. But I trust Leo's level of wakefulness. He is REALLY a better teacher than most of those other spiritual teachers you find on YouTube. Its upto you, I am very much a active listener of Leo's youtube Videos.. I find nowhere the depth & variety of topics he covered in all YouTube or anywhere else. I have knowledge about Non duality or Advaita what in India it is called. But he mixes advance spirituality with advance theories of science & gives you new perspective. I am admirer of Leo & his capacity to explain deepest topics. Sheer topics he covered is of very much variety & depth. How he knows all this ? He is definitely a active reader, contemplator & a good presentor. @Breakingthewall it's obvious and clear as the sun in the middle of the day .
