  1. Transcending the need to get laid only happens after you burn through the cravings by satisfying them. Please guys, the life of a virgin is not a good one .. especially for males. It’s a bullshit if anyone tells you otherwise.
  2. Wait .. do you have a date with the brother or the sister? Which one eye fucked you? Lol
  3. Why potentially? Truth is you did lol
  4. I respect that you are honest with yourself, but would encourage you to take a closer look at the option of escaping wage slavery through creating some form of art that is meaningful to you. Coasting can lead to an unfulfilled life. You can be comfortable and miserable at the same time. Investing and saving can be lucrative, but you could be doing it without passion .. therefore not seeing its full potential blossom. This is the same for working in careers that pay well, but you can't stand being there .. all for the sake of keeping up with ever growing expenses. Becoming financially independent through raw creativity and ideas is hard as hell, and emotionally taxing. But going through the process itself is enough to keep you fully motivated. Your mind will sow all kinds of doubts to prevent you from taking on the challenge. The Actualized.org life purpose course did wonders for me. It's worth the investment.
  5. Yes and no. The human has a head. But we are not human. Therefore we don't have a head
  6. Exactly .. replace the word existence with "real-ness". The problem with the unenlightened is that they don't recognize that everything in their experience is constructed through imagination (including all physical mechanisms). You can be conscious that you are imagining everything, or you cannot be conscious about it. Wherever you are, and whatever you are doing at this time .. recognized that it is not happening through a brain that is couched in a human skull. No one has ever validated that .. and it can't be validated in your own experience .. try it and see. The brain doesn't hold consciousness, consciousness holds the brain. Consciousness is God
  7. You're welcome to think I have a spiritual ego .. but Truth is Truth .. has nothing to do with me
  8. I agree with the point of society being complex, but not so sure if I would call laws black and white. The thing is, as society and culture evolves, laws evolve as well. Our judicial system pretty much reflects the level of consciousness and cognitive development its citizens are at. This goes for the US and other nations. One thing is for certain, nothing stays stagnant. Evolution is imminent .. hopefully it's evolving to something higher.
  9. You are right, when God awakens to itself, all that exists are appearances. When communicating with humans, there is no personal head (or body for that matter) present in that moment. You only really get to see the head of your character and it's body parts when looking at a mirror or some other reflective source. You are imagining the other people, along with their comments and assumptions about existence. Deeply contemplate this. This is correct from the materialist paradigm that uses science as new religious dogma. But we are talking about something much greater here .. biology and physiology are peanuts compared to the magnitude of God realization.
  10. How do you detect narcissism in yourself and others?
  11. Loneliness is essentially a dissatisfaction with the present moment .. of what is. Causes: At its core .. a lack of gratitude and appreciate for life.
  12. Y'know .. it is possible to talk about these things in plain English. If you don't fully realize that the One you speak is God, and that it's also who you are .. then you will continue to be lost in the labyrinth of your mind. You are the see-er man .. nothing more, nothing less.
  13. Maybe, but don’t rely on them as magic pill. Awakening is way deeper than being dissociated. Be really careful about the drugs you put in your body as well.
  14. The primary puzzle we need to solve in this work is leaving our bodies without doing any physical harm to it. Deeply contemplate this and you’ll get some pretty profound insights into the nature of reality.
  15. God ain't a story or some fable you tell by a warm bonfire, eating s'mores and laughing with stupid friends. It's way more serious and life-threatening .. to your ego that is.
  16. This is a problematic exercise, as God takes on all qualities that can be imagined. Including the opposite of your list: Lack of creativity Lack of compassion Lack of Love Lack of Intelligence Lack of Flexibility Lack of Nuance Repressive Sexuality Avoidance of Truth This is the beauty of God, since it's infinite .. it can manifest itself as any and everything. God is not located in humans, God is the consciousness that manifest them into the fabric of reality. But if I had to pick for the sake of this discussion, unconditional (Absolute) love is key .. being able to love that which is not loving, healthy or spiritual in humans...and in yourself (body & psyche).
  17. Yep, you are the only one that can sort out your own BS. The beauty of it is that you can also determine what things mean for you in life .. thus assigning positive meaning to even the crappy things in life. Great job, keep it up.
  18. From what I understand, it's being logical without thinking .. which is quite the paradox. We can maybe equate it to being ultra intuitive when it comes to problem solving. Tools used for problem solving and determining cause and effect relationship is not based off of conceptual models, but elements that are present in ones direct experience at any given time.
  19. @Yarco thanks for the feedback. I would have never thought to remove identifiable info, but doing so cuts straight to the actual skill-set.
  20. Hi guys, Mind sharing any helpful tips and resources are creating a stellar resume / cover letter? My problem is I have a vast array of work experience, but finding it difficult to condense in one page .. at the same time, make it attractive to the person reading it (spacing, color, fonts, etc).
  21. 'How To Win Friends and Influence People' - Dale Carnegie
  22. Ok thanks for clarifying. I don't think this possible. Notice how folks are still able to attain hard drugs and other illegal substances, hell .. we talk about using psychedelics on the forum all the time lol. History has shown us this .. we've tried bans on alcohol, porn/prostitution, the 'war on drugs' via Nixon administration. All have failed, humans find ways to get their hands on what they crave the most. Draconian efforts to ban things is like putting a band-aid over a festering wound. We need to address the wound which mostly comes from issues with mental health. Money and resources need to be poured into resources for psychology issues than into outright banning things we deem bad for our health. Take Oregon for example, who recently legalized tons of substances to not fill up prisons, and focused on more on recovery programs. We can make the same case of the legalization of weed. Gun control is needed, but we have more foundational things to address as a society. Agreed.
