  3. Whenever I think of A.I I automatically think of a mind and what’s going on inside that mind, rather than a humanoid looking thing walking and sitting around. A humanoid body is the least bit interesting to me, it’s just flashy and exciting to the herd. according to Mo Gawdat (former chief business officer of Google X) somewhere around year 2029 the smartest being on the planet will be a machine, his definition of creativity is pretty bare bones, “find a solution to a problem that has not been devised / created before" Why do you think A.I will be human like? What would be the point of inventing another human again? A machine that is 100x smarter than you will be very different. I don’t know if anyone is aware of this yet, but we are literally building aliens here, sentient beings. what’s cool about it is that no human has ever interacted with anything intelligent other than just another copy of himself, but we are about to. (Other than Leo :eyeroll: I’VE MET GOD) But we can only guess. I think we are all quite shit at predicting something we’re not building directly… my question is how do you build a human and something that is 100x smarter than it? Sounds impossible.

  13. Here's what I mean by Fad or Future, Will it live up to it's insane expectations? Will It match the internet in adaption or perhaps match A.I/Machine Learning in Usefulness? There's no doubt that A.I is the future, It will shape our lives more and more as days roll on. I visited MidJourney's Discord server today and I was absolutely convinced that it will. I Don't feel the same towards Virtual Reality and the Metaverse, I don't know if it's my lack of exposure to it or just Facebook and other companies not doing a good job at making it real. It feels like Virtual reality (not including Augmented Reality) will be very specialized and niche, used in medicine and all the boring stuff. Useful, but not what we thought it would be, which isn't clear either. Everyone thought Cloud Gaming was the next big thing. But look at it now, Google Stadia shut down, every other cloud gaming service blows. It was a silly idea companies wasted billions of dollars on (and still are), and thousands of people wasted their lives trying to make it work. Virtual Reality could have the same fate. In order to find my life purpose I really have to buy into something, Think it's the best thing ever. So I'm Open to everything, including Virtual Reality.
  14. Can't believe so many people play that garbage game 1. Let's be honest, you're not playing league on your own. Delete your discord account, skype, teamspeak or whatever you use to communicate with others. move away from real life conversations about league. If you follow any league youtubers unsubscribe, unfollow thier instagram accounts etc... this is crucial. 2. Schedule to delete your account, I've never played league seriously but I'm guessing they won't just delete your account as soon as you ask for it, It will likely take 30 days so get on with it 3. Go on a vacation I've had it easy since I was addicted to mostly paid video games, So I just deleted my accounts, pushed all my friends away. High school was consuming more of my time, and I quit. And lastly, I'd like to say that It never goes away. That desire to play never truly leaves, It just lessens and blurs into the background. The fact that you developed an addiction probably means that your mind's prone to that type of fun.

Steve Jobs said big companies make bad products, he was god damn right. What does the colossal success of Minecraft tell us? It's that you shouldn't spend millions and years of work & focus for triple AAA dumb ass graphics. SHOCKER: You can make good games because good games don't require God of war type of money, AAA GRAPHICS DONT MAKE GAMES FUN. CRAZY ! There's no need for micro transactions, coins or skins either. We need large communities, sanbox games, a huge and diverse arsenal of wepons and items, tough ass bosses, and kick ass boss music. Unique AIs Consumers need to stop pretending that graphics matter, stop being a graphics whore.

  18. A career in Music and Dance is by far the most 'me' career I can imagine. It's the safest bet. music is gonna be a big part of my life no matter what I choose. And dance is because it's the only thing I've be told I'm good at by other people. I was actually told to sign up for dance school many times. Since I'm good at letting myself off the hook and going with the music. However I don't see any uniqueness in a music career
  19. You're talking about an extremely developed AGI or Artificial General Intellgience, by the time something like that flourishes into existence 1. Acrualized.org won't exist. 2. There will be more things to worry about than just human philosophy getting "replaced" or whatever your point Is. Technology only moves fast In retrospect, real time progression is much slower. But of course, once A.I gets some grasp of intelligence, it's own intelligence will probably double every couple of year(s). It's a basic growth law. Similar to Moore's law and transistor density. This theory basically says that if it took 100 years for A.I to out-smart a single human. It will take only <10-20 years to outsmart the entire human race.
