  1. Hey Leo can you please post a new video just like usual so we have proof you're alive and well? Your forum account could be a bot for all we know and there was no new video for months. Just to verify everything's alright, not because I'm looking forward to new videos or anything
  2. I remember you said that you were working on a book, is there any progress recently? I'm very interested in it.
  3. I dunno maybe you can find out the similarity with that and oneness Here's one link that explains it well (short read): https://psychology.fandom.com/wiki/Pre-established_harmony
  4. As title says, how do you make your thumbnails Leo? They're the most unique and beautiful images I've ever seen so I can't help but wonder. Do you make them yourself or have someone do it? And where do you get the stock photos or whatever they are?
  5. Apparently it's the way to learn and think precisely (there's also the quadrivium, if you add 3+4 together you get 7 liberal arts = arts that liberate) , also some other forum members mentioned it before
  6. Some time ago there was only a few threads on spiral dynamics coral and there was this guy called TJ Miller if I remember correctly and he posted something about coral and a review of his self actualization path from the last few years. He also had a youtube channel called DeathProof that had great content like you're not spiral dynamics yellow until you've read these books (bayesian theorem, some book about spiral dynamics etc.). Does anyone know what happened to him? (And if his name is actually TJ Miller or I'm just tripping) Any help is greatly appreciated Edit: his name is TJ Reeves and there's only a few remaining videos on his youtube: DeathProof Solutions Edit2: his name *was TJ Reeves, seems he changed it to TJ Visiodei (Visiodei means vision of a god or something, quick web search) and is also married with children. I guess that's why he's off the grid and I wish him the best
  7. Well there's no new video for a month or more so I'm on a break since then. Getting bored
  8. Hey Leo, if you're on a break from Actualized.org then you should rest properly without bothering with the forum. I am curious whether you're going to upload a new video every Sunday but you never do. Please, rest from the forum as well as video making so we can enjoy your next video.
  9. Sapir–Whorf hypothesis (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Linguistic_relativity) The idea of linguistic relativity, also known as the Sapir–Whorf hypothesis /səˌpɪər ˈhwɔːrf/ sə-PEER WHORF, the Whorf hypothesis, or Whorfianism, is a principle suggesting that the structure of a language influences its speakers' worldview or cognition, and thus individuals' languages determine or shape their perceptions of the world. General semantics (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/General_semantics) General semantics is concerned with how events translate to perceptions, how they are further modified by the names and labels we apply to them, and how we might gain a measure of control over our own cognitive, emotional, and behavioral responses. Proponents characterize general semantics as an antidote to certain kinds of delusional thought patterns in which incomplete and possibly warped mental constructs are projected onto the world and treated as reality itself. Piraha people (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pirahã_people) https://brightside.me/articles/why-the-piraha-people-live-in-the-moment-and-are-considered-the-happiest-in-the-world-799555/ Piraha people believe that sleeping is harmful. They were shocked when they learned that some people sleep for 8 hours. They are sure that if you fall asleep for a long period, you might wake up a totally different person. However, there is also an opinion that this regimen was formed due to the fact that the area where these people live is teeming with snakes. Therefore, they sleep for 30 minutes and no more than 2 hours per night. They distinguish only light and dark colors. The Piraha mix up red and yellow colors as well as green and blue colors. Usually, the representatives of primitive tribes would rather lose their life than lose their honor and respect. But Piraha people are different. They basically don’t understand what anger or resentment is. “If Haaiohaaa dropped the fish in the water, it is bad — no fish, no dinner. But surely it is not Haaiohaaa’s fault. Haaiohaaa simply dropped the fish into the water,” they might think. Words like “century,” “time,” and “history” are meaningless for the Piraha. Almost none of them remember their grandparents. When they are asked what was happening to their tribe before, they give a very laconic answer, “Everything is the same, things always are.” Mothers don’t tell their kids fairytales. Moreover, no one tells any kinds of stories here: the collective memory shapes up only based on the personal experience of the oldest current living member of the tribe. Also, Piraha people don’t know what guilt and shame are all about. A husband can easily dump his wife because she stopped being young and attractive. While the woman, in her turn, won’t be angry at him, but instead will say something like, “It happened because it happened, that’s it. It means it’s time to look for another man.”
  10. Imagine that there was a world in the future where people didn't sleep. Instead they just kind of rested and didn't move for certain periods. I imagine they'd talk among each other as follows: "Sleep? Isn't that some ancient mystical mumbo jumbo?" "Eyes are meant to see, what's the point of closing them? That sounds retarded!" "You claim that on certain periods of the day people would just go and close their eyes together? That sounds like some religious ritual for good luck." "Well, we know that there are certain nutjobs who try to reach the altered state called "sleep", but as far as I know the only methods are the illegal knockout pills or lying down with eyes closed which takes years of mastery to achieve even 10 minutes of the so-called "sleep"." "Conspiracy theorists claim that in the past people would do the "sleep" and manage to grow taller, have more energy and a fresh mind. That's all dumb if you ask me. What's wrong with you the way you are already?" ... See where I'm getting with this? The only time in human history where people didn't use psychic powers is this one right now. That's for multiple reasons, no real religious practices, modified DNA where Rh- individuals are the original human DNA holders and the rest of us have suppressed (but not removed!) spirituality, demonization of such usually natural powers. If anyone you try to point to spirituality gives you something similar to the quotes above (substituted for any spiritual idea), feel free to remember this story which I thought up and tell them . P.S.: the "insight" part of the title is in the realization that something so natural and commonplace could be easily turned against us, as spirituality as a whole has been suppressed

  12. It's been more than a month since the last one. Can you tell us what's been going on?
  13. This was one of his older videos I really liked, he really pulls a quick oneness plot twist. It's short (9:38) so I recommend you watch it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=56f2UxfpSqU Let me know what you thought
  14. @AtheisticNonduality I agree, it doesn't test intelligence but it tests what you get on the IQ test, just like time is what the clock shows. It's still useful to have a clock here and there.
