  1. what's your take on fun vs acing life by always making the emotionally difficult decision? just personally i feel i may have deluded myself thinking that fun = making the emotionally easy decision, thus anti-self actualization
  2. which 3 people has made the most impact on you? are your biggest role models?
  3. Honestly, I feel for me a very large percentage of "looks" is their posture and confidence (which generally speaking does mean that they will be less likely to be really insecure - which results in a toxic relationship. And the good thing here is that anyone who lives a conscious lifestyle can have that.
  4. Honestly, screw the teacher. Seperate the teaching from the teacher. For me personally, Elliott's videos 5-6 years ago helped me alot. His videos on posture and how they affect the mind. Imo study and work on that, it will honestly teach you so much. But keep it at that: a certain aspect of their work will help, you really got a lot from them, and you're grateful for that. Same goes for Actualized.org, lot of debate about distinctions he makes in spirituality, and recent year or so videos being woo woo. Honestly, most people are not even at that stage yet (if they are then they wouldn't need even learning from Leo because they know themselves and can just start their own school). Just focus on mastering the old videos. Like that video 6 years ago on Mastery he made, I bet a lot of people watching and debating on whether his new videos are true or not are not even seriously mastering anything. Like Leo said above, Elliott is burning through blue, he is experimenting. I know that Leo and Peter Ralston have some disagreements on spirituality too, not saying things about who is true, but he is also experimenting. Point here is is that take what works for you and leave DON'T FOLLOW ANYONE (but you can still be eternally grateful for the few teachings that changed your life - if you worked on them).

    This jsut made my day
  6. @JayG84 Hey, Thanks for sharing your experiences, I've been experiencing the same thing recently. We naturally take the path of least resistance, so don't beat yourself up about it, but that is how you can ensure you stay on track: Always take the path of most resistance This is sort of like a strange loop: you need to stop watching videos, but this video, I swear, if you seriously do what it says, will make you stop watching videos. I'm assuming that watching videos is the path of least resistance. So go against that.
  7. can't hurt me - david goggins mastery - george leonard the alchemist - paulo coelho
  8. "as you think, so you shall become"
  9. Shit. I hate what you are saying here.. It's fucking bulls eye I realize that it's exactly what has been going on for me.
  10. That's strange. For me, I do a 5+5 minute concentration practice and then a 30 minute meditation. Usually the first 10 minutes are quite calm and deep, then my concentration wavers a bit, and sort of turns on and off occasionally until my meditation ends. I feel like 45+ minutes turns into a strong determination sort of pain endurance meditation.
  11. @Soulbass When you buy adblock, is it lifetime access?
  12. Check out this interview Kyrie, if you have the time. He's around high orange / green, and is really more on the consciousness / flow / health side than toxic competition or "proving somebody wrong.
  13. What course is this? Where did you learn this
  14. Thanks! This was surprisingly insightful - you are never talking to a group of people, but only individuals.
  15. @Cody_Atzori Wow, I'm not alone. I'm 15 too, started meditation 10 months ago. Personally, I've had profound glimpses of reality and it was really something I never imagined could ever be possible. That was simply from Do Nothing technique with a bit of self inquiry. Thing is, those are states. You still gotta develop yourself sustainably. I was really pumped up and getting deep into it, watching tons of videos on enlightenment, and spending nearly all my energy but them I realised, shit, I can't keep this up - at least not until I am financially independent. So, here's my plan - just take whatever may help you: 1. Build concentration and base mindfulness level - 10 minutes concentration daily + 30 minutes meditation + 3 micro hits daily Everyday, you can build concentration skills. Aim to get laser, unwavering focus for the whole period, then sustain, then increase. This is like the base of pursuing truth, without it you're fucked. Personally I'm setting a goal to get to 30 minutes unwavering focus with 0 movement. 2. Do research on a diverse ranges of sources on truth - you can to know the big picture, from lots of teachers first 3. Do very long strong determination sits or other intense spiritual techniques 2-3 times a year (it is said that if you can sit still for 4 hours, that amount of pain you have endured will purify you to enlightenment). - perhaps yoga will be needed to not injure yourself or cause unnecessary injuries.
  16. Happy Birthday Leo! Thanks for being my Gandalf. You helped me find my purpose in life and a vision that will take me down and back through hell. I'll always remember you as the first mentor. Anyway, appreciate your holistic approach
