  1. the realization that you are pure awareness, knower, perceiver, and there's actually no rigid "I" is the beginning of the work according to Rupert Spira, so yeah you need to go deeper and deeper and contemplate the nature of awareness, so does awareness gain anything from any state's either infinite bliss, Love, or just simple ordinary state we are in while it's just pure knowing or awareness? does a TV care what it is that being displayed in itself as screen? it's nice to experience those states (that just requires more work and practice) but if you really contemplate the nature of knowing, it's just knowing! pure knowing! it's awareness in any states no matter what. the state itself cannot change the awareness, knower!
  2. God cannot be stopped from being insane, that's it, don't know any limits.
  3. nothing bad can happen really absolutely nothing negative if you easily let go of everything, and just be the witness of whatever happens, but the only thing that I'm a still not sure about is the condition of the body, is the body condition is like when you are in normal sleep in high doses which you face complete ego-death? also i dont want to lough or cry loudly in midnight, i was manage to stay slient up to 2.5 grams lemon tek, but i'm not sure about anything more than that like 5 grams lemon tek. since only because of your ego-mind you know about this reality so you absolutely will have no clue about anything and how you ended up being here when your ego mind completely dissolves.
  4. @Leo Gura what if holding your head under the water untill you're almost dead results in some sort of more profound or lasting state of consciousness than psychedelics?
  5. Hey guys, So this was my second mushroom trip (2 grams lemon tek in silent and dark environment ) i did almost a month ago, i dont want to go to too much details since there's so much beautifully written trip reports about all the positive and amazing insight you'll gain about love etc, but basically mushroom trips for me was absolutely positive experiences, I've been meditating and Kriya Yoga and self-inquiry for very long time, and in general i'm very very comfortable surrendering and basically die very easily at the beginning of each trip. i just lay down very comfortably and let go of everything and get in a state of deep relaxation and then after a while i find my self in the middle of the trip and the work begins from here. beside amazing amount of joy and love which i experienced in this trip which i couldn't even know if such joy and love can even be possible, basically the whole body became immense joy and orgasm and love and very loose very very very pleasant experience, which it's really beyond words, something very very strange happened, basically i looked at my hand and it was a totally strange thing to me and when i focused a bit more suddenly with a strong buzzing sound (strong ZZZ) for a fraction of second the whole body and hand disappeared (for very very short moments) but the awareness or witness remained and after this i did some contemplation and amazing insights came, and i also realized I'm God but whenever the realization or contemplation was getting really deep the strong sudden buzzing zzz sound kick you out and break the contemplation. what i came up after a bit of contemplation based on multiple experiences similar to this after the trip was over was that, there's certain depths that you can penetrate in your contemplation really deep but not so deep that you end up leaving the body or getting expanded beyond it you know what i mean? it's like the buzzing sound was like an alarm to tell you that youre close to the red line and if you go deeper you can't stay with the body so you'll have to leave it if you want to get expanded more!!, so i still haven't realized the infinity and definitely no omniscient, or samadhi experiences, so first of all anybody having similar experiences that can relate to? also will you have to go beyond the body for infinite realization or entering god head (i assume it's obvious that it's really the case)? what the body will be doing when your consciousness expanded? the most ideal thing would be the body become like corpse doing nothing is that what will happen (i fear body go do some things on it's own will when i'm not aware of it haha)?
  6. @James123 The thing is if you do something when are going deeper and deeper it keeps the mind still operative even in it's weakest level I'm talking about do nothing meditation, so yes, 'you' should surrender and really really do nothing even slightest movement of the body keeps the mind operative, and from this point when the mind is completely dropped, there's no "you" to do something, "I" is already dropped with the mind, so you're right whatever that will happen will happen, and you remain witness of everything. i still haven't gone to that state of the Void which the mind completely shutdowns and the consciousness of the body is gone, but i found that being aware of your true nature during the day helps a lot really, and yes the more you surrender yourself or the "I" the deeper you're allowed to go also it's harder to live around people. the magnets of the void within draws you down more and more the more you do the work or surrender the "I", the harder it gets to even be around people yet to have any kind of relationships with them. but also the less and less you'll care about everything of course! ?
  7. @James123 i do agree really, if you really really know how to become that empty and relaxed you basically just 'are', no mind ,no wants, no thoughts of any sort, basically awareness alone wants nothing, care about nothing, knows nothing, I still haven't gone beyond this and dont know more, but i find do nothing meditation absolute best to go deeper and deeper.
  8. I know what you mean, in do nothing meditation, when one gets really really relaxed, it's almost when the mind ( which is no mind and just activities of awareness ) are about to fade away, it's when the pure awareness existence remains in its pure form, really you just 'Are', the peace is beyond words, it's amazingly beautiful when 'you', 'mind' and all the stories are slowly fades away and the awareness remains alone, One can get into this state without help of any psychedelics but what if Leo is right actually and this is baseline consciousness and the work begins from here, you empty the awareness from the garbage of the mind (unconscious awareness activities) first then consciously fill it with infinite love, joy, bliss. I don't see any limits for absolute Nothingness.
  9. Samadhi is the highest level of meditation, there's not one specific single practice to just to get you into Samadhi state also there's different types of Samadhi which you can experience depending on the meditation method, I recommend this book: The science of yoga by I. K. Taimni All you need to know about Yoga sutras and Samadhi you'll find in this book. Very detailed book which you'll understand the whole procedure that eventually will lead you to this state of consciousness.
  10. about a week and half ago I took 2.5 grams lemon tek (basically mixture of shroom powder and fresh lemon after like 20 mins), it was amazingly intense, you basically don't know what's mind, what's fear even what it means be a human, there's just images or memories of that being just like hours ago, but you absolutely know it wasn't you, you basically drop the mind, no sense of self, body moving itself and having self-realization and insights like everyone else, i did this in darkness and super silent environment, I don't know if its safe to do like 3 grams or more of lemon tek, I'm mentally stable and happy and meditating plus studying sprituality for a very long time, but you really really are something else and i don't know what would happen really, and for me darkness and silence and alone all by myself is the best, so having a trip sitter is something I'd never concider really. So should i go for like 3 or even 5 grams lemon tek guys? Having lemon tek is crucial for me to avoid any nausea and or stomach discomforts beside intensifying the experience a lot more.
  11. I usually feel vibrations in different parts of my body specially head, hands and spine all the time, also i can raise great amount of energy when doing simple do nothing meditation and feel intense vibrations and buzzings all over my body and see intense swirling, pulsing purple lights anf flashes eyes closed. So does it mean i am a natural mystic?
  12. @Leo Gura @Leo Guraa how can one practise this skill? Assuming one has already achieved a developed still mind though concentration practises.
  13. I guess it's HRV or heart rate variability. this guy explains a lot about this method in his videos:
  14. @Leo Guraa Do you see a possibility of eventually gaining the ability to stay in Samadhi or God head for as long as you want, after so many trips? And if so , How close you think you are to achieve something like this?
  15. @Leo Guraa I still dont have any experience with psychedelics, Can these substances have any help in this process (Samyama)?
  16. You need to study the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali, there's a great book which explains all the sutras pretty well and in depth, its "The science of yoga" by I. K. Taimni. Basically by practising Ashtanga Yoga you manage to get rid of all distractions physically and mentally, and so in your practice of Samyama (Concentration, Meditation, Samadhi) you fix your mind on the object of meditation for as long as you want, and nothing distracts you, not a single thought should break or interrupt the flow of your focus, and eventually you forget about your body and you lose body self awareness and your mind fuses with the object of meditation and you pass into state of Samadhi in this state you become one with the object of meditation, and you come back to normal state with knowledge and or Siddhi's, for example if you wanna be as strong as an Elephant you perform Samyama (Concentration, Meditation, Samadhi) on it and you will get this Siddhi, if you wanna get all knowledges of past and future you do Samyama on the Sun. But passing into Samadhi from Dhyana (Meditation) and to Dhyana from Dharana (Concentration) is a very big challenge, it's so so difficult, you need to develop a very calm mind, if you have a calm mind in general, there's great chance of success otherwise you need to spend years of practising to calm down and eventually shut down your monkey mind completely in your meditation practise. This is from the Chapter III of the book I've mentioned: "in Samadhi may be represented in the following way. If A is the object chosen for Samyama and B, C, D, E, etc. are distractions, then the content of the mind at regular intervals of successive moments in the three phases may be represented by the following series of Pratyayas present in the mind. The circle round the letters represents the mental self-awareness referred to above." "It will be seen that the frequency of distractions goes on decreasing in Dharana and frequency and degree of mental self-awareness goes on decreasing in Dhyara. In Samadhi there is complete freedom both from distractions and self-awareness and the object alone remains in the field of consciousness."
  17. @MAYA EL Yeah man exactly, he told this also mutilple times in his vids that no one should belive a single word that comes out of his mouth at all, he don't believe his words neither, but just direct experience, even in this case you don't even know if you can trust that too haha, in your entire life mind is always working against you, it's desinged and wired to keep the physical body alive,so it doesn't give a single shit about your sprituality bullshits, that's why there's so many tricks that minds plays on you, to keep the truth hidden ad long as it could. So your number one enemy is your mind in this path.
  18. "Who am i?" "For whom the thought arises?" Your reality and true Self is hidden from you by the mind and thoughts so asking these questions hundreds times a day might finally wake you up from the dream of life
  19. @purerogue well i guess it's not a belief but Self-Realization, and how do you know like a lot of people in this forum who are in this path, I'm not on this path too?
  20. @purerogue No, but no matter how much you seek happiness in external world, your ego-mind will never be satisfied, and its happiness is very temporary state, and it's always in state of wanting. Because God designed it in such way, for his specific goal and keep the game going.
  21. @purerogue But Boredom is state of ego-mind, not blissful-pure-existence-consciosness.
  22. @purerogue I don't think it's true to say that once they reahed God's consciousness or samadhi they would die anyway, there's yogis who living for hundreds or thousands of years in Himalaya, like Babaji. Btw meditating seems to purifys the nervous system to be able to reach those state of superconsciosness like samadhi not just let you taste what it is to have higher state of consciousness for a limited time, correct me if I'm wrong guys.
  23. @Esoteric I think those gurus or sages died because they wanted to, so it was up to them, like Yogananda, what you think?
