  1. Be careful with this desire to be an ambitious person and a hard worker. On a deeper emotional level, success will never nourish you. People who are workaholics are blissfully unaware of this one existential fact that, in the end they're going to die and all of their hard work will mean nothing. The Bible explicitly teaches is this, stating that we come from dust and will become the dust. I really like this book: https://www.amazon.com/Fame-Fortune-Ambition-Meaning-Essentials/dp/0312595441/ref=tmm_pap_swatch_0?_encoding=UTF8&qid=&sr=
  2. I have Indian friends who follow what happens in India, in regards to the BJP, Indian National Congress, and others. It's really sad that the Congress Party is no longer in the dominant position they used to be, they were quite secular and didn't favor any religious group over the other.
  3. I also like the PSL, they actually did run a candidate in 2020. Though they're not as big as the Greens, hence struggle much more than the Greens with ballot access, meaning they're not going to be on the election ballot in every state. The Greens also struggle with ballot access because the Democrats keep sabotaging them, but to a lesser extent. The only Democrats I would EVER consider voting for are the ones affiliated with the DSA. All other Democrats can go to hell.
  4. I made a point in this thread about voting third party, @Razard86 I recommend you give it a shot in the next election. By third party, I mostly mean the Green Party.
  5. Every time you orgasm into your hand, Satan laughs.
  6. Are you being sincere and real, or being metaphorical and not too literal? Like, if I meditated in a forest or in a concrete jail cell, which would have a better effect on my ability to awaken?
  7. Greetings. I really enjoy reading about Buddhism, I'm 21 years old and I have for a while been reading the Pali Canon and Sutras. I've already read; ''In the Buddha's Words: An Anthology of Discourses from the Pali Canon'', and ''The Middle Length Discourses of the Buddha: A Translation of the Majjhima Nikaya''. Now I'm reading, ''Great Disciples of the Buddha: Their Lives, Their Works, Their Legacy''. I get disheartened when Leo calls Buddhism bullshit. I've obtained a lot of value from these books and I have no intention to stop reading. But Leo is making me contemplate whether or not I'm wasting my time. I do recall in another video Leo said ''do not even think of being awake if you had not read at least a hundred books (Abrahamic books do not count)''. It was either from a video or blog post, and I'm paraphrasing the quote. I get immense value from these books, and I think it's appropriate for my low level as I'm still building my life and burning through karma. But Leo says that Buddhism will put me into a paradigm, Buddhism is not AWAKE, no amount of meditation will awaken me, meditation is Bullshit, Buddhism is bullshit. I'm not trying to gaslight Leo so that he changes his position, I'm just asking what to do with my books. Should I continue reading or stop reading before I get locked into a paradigm. P.S. If meditation is bullshit, then how do you explain all the really woke people who got there through meditation? Such as; Peter Ralston, Osho, Siddhartha Gautama, Ramana Maharshi, etc...
  8. I remember reading a wonderful interpretation of the Buddha, where he did indeed awake to God and Love, but then called it 'nothingness'. He did this so that his followers would not have a preconceived notion to cling to. In the similar way that Christians have a humanoid view of God due to Michelangelo's paintings, the Buddha didn't want something like that.
  9. So THIS is what Terrence McKenna meant when he said that rivers and mountains should be our mentor.
  10. I’m getting a degree in physics so I can work in a laboratory.
  11. In the first 5 minutes of this video, leo says that my grades don't matter. He says the same thing in the ''should you go to college'' video. Does it really matter which University I go to?
  12. You published a while ago a blog post claiming that no mathematician knew what infinity was: https://actualized.org/insights/explaining-infinity I'm wondering, was Pythagoras correct to believe that Mathematics could be used to understand reality? Or is Mathematics a purely ideological game with nothing to do with absolute truth? In your deepest awakenings, what happens to mathematics? Does it dissolve as its' a self deception or does your understanding of it deepen and enhance?

  14. I'm here with you, I'm probably at this point going to either abstain from voting or vote for the Green Party Maaaaaayyyyyybe I'll vote for the PSL, but they're not as big as the Greens. I am so sick of so called ''''''''Leftists''''''''' in name only such as Leo and Vaush continuously screeching at me to vote for the current Democratic frontrunner, an 80 year old man who can't make coherent sentences and should be in a nursing home rn. Even Obama stacked his cabinet and admin with banking executives. Either way who wins, Middle East is bombed and scatted w/ U.S. military bases, Palestinian human rights violations ignored, and the Oligarchs continue to win.
  15. Is there absolute truth in mathematics or is it entirely conceptual. Or is it like Holy Books, conceptual fingers pointing to absolute truth but not absolute in it of itself.
  16. Grigori Rasputin was a Eastern Orthodox Christian mystic who existed during the Russian empire. He is said to have had mystical healing powers, and took part in many mystical traditions, including; being a monk on Mt. Athos, and Khlysty.
  17. Is this something which requires awakening to pull of or, or anyone can do it? Where are Leo's 'energy eyes'.
  18. If different forms of art have different spiral development, then doesn't that prove Postmodernism wrong on culture? https://www.actualized.org/insights/what-is-post-modernism One aspect of postmodern philosophy is its' critique on culture. Contemporary culture usually divides forms of artistic expression into two categories; ''low'' culture, and ''high'' culture. Forms of art which are classified as 'low' culture tend to be seen as 'trashy'. This 'trashy' culture is more barbaric and animal like, vulgar, and simple. Art classified as 'high' culture is more elegant, poetic, and complex. It takes a greater degree of intelligence to enjoy this type of culture, than lets say, a NASCAR race. If the postmodern claim is correct, then listening to violent heavy metal, watching NASCAR, and listening to classical music are just all the same level. But Spiral Dynamics integral teaches us that, no! Not all forms of expression are equal, some forms of art are at low levels of development and some are higher. This does not make them superior, this simply makes them higher. Just like how tier two SDi codes are not ''superior'', just higher. It's called high/low culture, not superior/inferior, culture. Is there a reason why blissed out yogis don't listen to heavy metal and gangsta' rap?
  19. Both Leo and Rasputin are Russian, maybe Leo is a Rasputin incarnate from the previous life.
  20. The shit I read on this forum…
